Hi I really liked your Akaashi best boyfriend post. I read the pinned message and saw you write for Iwaizumi. Can I request for a jealous Iwaizumi? It’s alright if you don’t respond too!

a/n: omg my first request! i’m really glad that you liked it! i just HAD to write it as soon as possible since i really had fun imagining this~

although iwaizumi might have a couple of insecurities in other things, your relationship with him is not one of them. he has no doubts, no fears that you might leave him at this moment and he’s confident that you’re attracted to him just like his is to you.

but sometimes, jealousy might still spring up.

he knows that nothing will come of it, but he can’t help but feel a bit uneasy when he sees someone flirting with you in plain sight.

he thinks that it’s just concern for you as it appears to him that the person just won’t let up. in your eyes, it’s jealousy. plain and simple jealousy, you have no doubt about that.

and how do you know that?

being with him for this long, that’s how. over the almost-a-year duration you’ve been together with him, you’ve learned a thing or two about the cues to his emotions.

like, for example, how he appears to be visibly pouting. and the fact that his arms are crossed over his stomach. you have to physically hold yourself back from laughing at him — he looks way too much like a petulant child, especially because you can hear the almost silent grumbling and “hmph”s that escape his mouth.

yep, all of them match the typical ‘jealous iwa’ mode you suspected he was in. the only thing missing is—

ah, it finally showed up! ‘get so annoyed by the random approacher that he starts to drag (name) away’ is what you and oikawa decided on calling it. because that’s exactly what he does.

he mumbles something about having to leave with “his partner”, leaving the person shaking from the icy glare he shot them and grabs your hand, gently squeezing it before dragging you away to a slightly more secluded place. you can’t hold yourself back that well anymore; the giggles have started and accompany you until he stops.

his eyes are enough to pose the question. you respond to him by pulling him to you, planting a kiss on his lips.

“jealous, haji?” you tease, squishing his cheeks. he brings his hand up to yours and nuzzles against your palms.

a smirk replaces his pout and rolls his eyes. “you wish,” iwaizumi scoffs.

the kiss seemed to have done its trick, per usual.

he remembers the little things you mention in passing, be it the cute dog you saw on the street or a particular paragraph from a book that you really enjoyed. he’d ask you about your hobbies, your likes and dislikes, what you’ve been thinking about and listen to them intently, maybe even buying you stuff related to the things you enjoy.

he loves watching shows with you while cuddling. it doesn’t even have to be a show he particularly likes a lot, but he’d still try his best to see the positives to it if you enjoy it. and of course, he’s really just a good cuddler so that’s a plus for you.

he’s a fan of watching you do your work. sometimes, he tries to help you out with your work and other times… well, he’d just tease you to hear your giggles and laughter when he senses that you might need a distraction. and whenever he deems a break necessary, he’d gently pat your shoulder before swooping you up in his arms so that he can carry you to the living room where he has set out some snacks for you.

Imagine if one day Anya addresses Twilight by his real name.

Not Twilight, his code name and his identity as a spy. Not Loid either, the civilian identity fabricated for him to fulfil his mission. But the name that was given to him by his parents, which his friends knew him by, which was tossed away when he joined the army and lost with the death of his last remaining friends, which has only ever been presented to us as redacted text. Which he thought nobody else in the world, apart from a few in his spy organisation, knew anymore.

This part of him, that he thought was forgotten forever, is suddenly brought back to him through this young girl, who he had only adopted for the sake of his mission, somebody he was using to get closer to his target. Yet she became so important to him as time went by, just as if she was now his real family.

Oh, and then she reveals that she could read his thoughts all along.

So imagine!!!

He keeps blabbering about his skills and how he scored more service ace than his omi-omi. And you just had enough of him. He has been chewing your ears out for an hour. So you raise your hand and mimics his act. And he instantly becomes quiet. He stares at you with a deadpan expression for a few seconds. And then instantly throws a fit about how mean you are and how you make fun of his precious ace services. Meanwhile you are laughing so hard, and he just feels so embarrassed.

(Imao, poor baby, he sure will be upset about it for hours and will demand kisses and cuddles for it. But then again, you do the same act and he he just had enough and just storms out of the room, only to return few minutes later, and flopping himself on you. Lol) :')

dljfkhafdka I’M LITERALLY HAVING A FIELD DAY IMAGINING THIS

ever since i learned that kiyoomi canonically likes dogs, my brain has been on overdrive. so, here's another blurb to feed into my brainrot.

omi always has treats on him so he could feed the dogs he passes by on the streets. he could be on his daily run and he'll still have a tiny bag of treats in his running waist pack.

if he can, he'll literally stop walking to give pets to the dogs he meets but if not, he always makes sure to wave at them.

omi's very sociable with dogs but that doesn't translate well into human interactions so when he's at the park and he sees a dog he wants to pet, he stares at the dog until the owner eventually notices the 6'3 well-built man seemingly glowering from the distance and hesitantly offers him to pet their dog.

junior high omi who began working as a dog sitter and dog walker when the elderly couple in the house beside his couldn't walk their sweet rottie on enough walks anymore because of their old age.

omi who started volunteering in dog shelters after that and transitioned into periodically donating large sums of money instead when he went pro and his schedule got too busy.

omi who lets the big old family dog bulldoze him to the floor and plop on top of him whenever he visits home. he hugs the dog to his chest and often jokingly thinks to himself, "what a good way to go out."

omi who brings the old dog around when he's doing errands and the general public just see this intimidating man with a perpetual scowl baby carrying the dog when it gets too scared to ride the escalator.

college omi who had to move out and live in the dorms but only stayed for literally a week at most when he learned they didn't allow dogs there. he pouts to his mom about this and she just shakes her head, giggling out a "you're just like your father" before eventually helping him find an apartment that does allow dog. (he adopts an old pittie immediately after)

(a tiny blind goldie pup joins them a few months later)

omi is nowhere near unpopular in college (i mean how can he be when he looks like *gestures wildly at him* that) so he gets invited out a lot to hangout and for the most part, he relents and goes but on the days where his dogs get clingy with him, he doesn't hesitate to cancel plans with a single "my dog needs me. next time." text. they always think he's making up excuses but unbeknownst to them, omi is trapped to the bed by two pups sleeping on top of him.

young omi who cried when the pups from their family dog had to be given away. he cuddled them to sleep the night before they were leaving.

omi whose aura doesn't deter dogs from jumping up on him and the poor owners have to scramble to apologize and pull the dog away because of the fear they'll get cussed out. omi always leaves them in awe when he chuckles softly and says it's alright and sneaks a treat to their dog.

omi isn't big on messaging the msby group chat, preferring to mute them. but he does send captionless photos of his dogs randomly. the first time it happens, they're all so shocked. meian asks "did you mean to send that, sakusa?" and omi only replies with a photo of himself with his dogs napping on his chest and a short "yes." suffice to say, everyone now looks forward to omi's messages.

omi's love for dogs doesn't go unnoticed by the fanbase and this prompts them to tag him on social media with videos and photos of their own dogs. they soon learn that it's a very effective way of getting his attention because he always tries to like all of them. it's his favorite thing to do when he catches a break while travelling for an away game.

when interviewers catch wind of this, omi shares that when he retires he hopes to start taking in dying and old dogs who were left in the pound or dog shelter just so they could experience a loving home before they die.

so touched by omi's words, their fanbase started doing fundraising activities. when he finds out about this he absolutely does not shed a few tears. he often donates to these fundraisers as well on top of his own personal donations to animal shelters.

when kiyoomi's grumpy and wants to be a petty lil shit, he places the things you're looking for on the highest places and tells you to get it yourself. he even makes sure that it juts out a little from the edge just enough that you can reach it with your fingertips but you'd ultimately need to climb on something to reach it. the charger that you asked him to bring to you? it's on top of the cabinet that only his 6'3 ass can reach. the can of peaches you need for your salad? good luck climbing the counter to get it. of course, if he sees you even attempt to climb on anything, he's quick to pull you down by the waist and retrieve the thing you were reaching for to hand it to you. he's still feeling petty and he's still got that grumpy pout on his lips but at the end of the day, he wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.
