Worthy BMBLB part II

First off. Absolute Banger.

But really I find it so interesting with the layering of the two voices (Cassie and Ariyel). I have been thinking about the lyrics. Personally, I feel that Cassie parts are closer to Yang and Ariyel’s parts is closer to Blake.

Ya know what I’m too tired now but I’m gonna do a whole post about it tomorrow.

Update I watched all of season 2 and I feel even more correct about my initial post. Also they needed like a few episodes of an epilogue. I wanna see how all the characters end up where they are, people going on dates, and the rebuilding and recovery. I really felt like the ending wasn’t about the giant robots but about the characters so we needed more time with just the characters.

Okay I watched all of Witch from Mercury S1 in a day. Excellent series. But I think the prologue should actually go after the end of S1 and right before S2. Imagine not knowing everything set up by the prologue. It would make it weigh much more and help the darker tone that is being set up.

I didnt get it. What do you mean?

Ruby says in Volume 2 that she sees Penny’s soul after finding out Penny is an android. Ruby was the first person (other to then her father) to see Penny as a full person. I could see Ruby and Penny (if she hadn’t died again) being like life partners but not in a traditional romantic sense.

Okay I’m starting to think that Ruby may actually be aro/ace or some combination because I really feel like they have always made it a point to have Ruby not uncomfortable with romance but that she reacts in ways like “I don’t understand cause what are people feeling.” I think of Qrow playing video games with them scene, her leaving Ren and Nora before they kiss, her little “Eep” seeing Yang and Blake (but also that’s her sister so maybe just natural awkwardness).

Also her main ships all seem very platonic Jaune, Oscar, and Weiss. Penny being someone super close but that’s always been about penny’s “soul.”

I’m convinced at least haha.

RWBY Vol 9 Prediction

Okay I have been really liking the volume so far. It seem very apparent that Ruby is suffering because of the loss of Penny and at the same time is trying to keep some level of her usual self at least for the team.

At the end of episode 2 her speech seems like she is starting down the path of grief. I was wondering something though. It seems Weiss was unable to break Ruby’s shell. Yang and Blake are Buzzy. So who can help be a friend to Ruby when she needs one the most. Who else has last a very dear (red headed) friend?

Jaune

I think Jaune will be very important in helping Ruby process everything. He himself had to go through this with Pyrrha. Of course, he was the one who needed to end Pennys life, which at the end of the day was the best call given the horrible situation. This is war. This is what the early theme songs were talking about.

I don’t think they will push a romance especially this volume, maybe a spark at the end. I think Ruby and Jaune friendship has always been critical to RWBY. They were each others first friends at beacon and they have traveled across continents together. Now they both have lost someone precious to them. Perhaps, Jaune can help Ruby out of the darkness and into the light.

I see a lot of people saying that RWBY Ice Queendom will just all take place in in Weiss’s Nightmare. I really hope it goes a step further and that she has a battle with her inner self with the help of RBY. But the Grimm secretly wins and she is taken back to Atlas to recover and starts to infect Ironwood and her sister to become a de facto ruler and that’s where the series goes.
