Okay so don’t question it but James Potter is just like me fr so I also assume that he’s had weird vacations. Take my personal experience for example:

I went to a cabin with my siblings and parents and to start the night off me and my older sister accidentally spilt hot dog water in my moms drink and didn’t tell her and let her drink it and it made her very mad. The reason we got hit dogs is because we saw a fat ass raccoon in the woods so I named it Betty and we were feeding it. Well Betty left and got friends. A little baby fox to be exact. So we went back inside and got raw steak and we threw it at a wild animal trying to get it closer to the house. Little fox goes away and comes back with big fox. So we went back inside to watch the only 2 films in the cabin, Jurassic Park and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinos. We were there for a whole week. During our stay we found out we were throwing raw steak at coyotes, not foxes. And we were going like pspspspspsps to get it closer to the house. And I think something similar happened to the marauders

UPDATE: Tiffany G did not make any of the three spots. So many people worked to spread the message on multiple platforms, and our AO3 is protecred from Censorship. Thank you to all who shared, commented and stood up for the truth of what was going on. Hopefully we can prevent something like this from happening again in the future!

Those who may not be aware, for the OTW election in progress there is one candidate who is practically out to end it all:

They are wanting to censor and make AO3 a place of control. They want to take our freedom to write and form it to what they think is the correct guideline to, "Make it more friendly."

AO3 already has a ton of filters and tags in place to aid in helping each person tailor their own AO3 experience. Something triggers them? They can filter that tag out. Wanna read G only? Can filter out the rest. Want to read E only?

Filter out the rest.

What this person is wanting to do, it'll take away the beautiful community we have. It is a platform of freedom, of writing what you desire and posting it to find others just like you. To try and put a semblance of authoritive control.. it's repulsing.

honestly, after that i REALLY don't want will to have powers. like i already didn't like that theory, but after reading that script? even more so.

he doesn't need another reason to hate himself or feel different or be in agony or stress like... leave him alone.

also, if everyone does realize how important will is to them (because most of them have been really fucking shitty to him, not just mike), i don't want it to be because he has powers or because he dies.

i want them to look at will for all that he is and go wow, he's amazing. because he IS amazing and he's worth loving.

he is so kind and selfless and thoughtful, the fact that he hates himself is just so utterly heartbreaking???

i don't care how we get there, i need him to get a happy ending. he doesn't deserve to die, or to get rejected, or to be ignored, he deserves to be happy and loved for all that he is and have the life he's always wanted.
