im so grateful for the existence of the httyd shows because without them fishlegs, snotlout and the twins would just be quirky side characters there to fill out the movies' casts. but the shows got to give them so much development and attention and now the dragon riders are one of my favourite found familys ever.
oh to be a rider on the edge, watching hiccup and fishlegs geeking out, snotlout avoiding astrid's axe and the twins finding something else to explode. and then they all enjoy heather's mutton chops together. i love them <333

Akami Tatsumi OC asks (not-so-nice edition) LAST PART
mistake: For Akami, the worst mistake she's made was attacking Malleus in a feral state due to her not eating any human flesh after she was turned into a demon. She hasn't had the chance to apologize to Malleus on account of his grandmother forcibly separating them, but she hopes to get the chance to see Malleus again so she can apologize.
monster: Akami considers herself a monster since she is a demon. Not many people trust her and are afraid of her. Sanemi once called her a monster and she accepts it, but then replied, "This monster will do her best to be of some use to the Corps."
nightmare: Akami's nightmares are usually of the night her village was attack where she saw her family get slaughtered or of killing Malleus when she's in a feral state.
pain: Akami has a pretty high pain tolerance as a demon. As a human, her pain tolerance was kind of on the medium level. The worst pain she ever felt was when Muzan skewered her and injected her with his blood in order to turn her into a demon. It felt like being injected with poison that set every nerve on fire.
secret: Akami doesn't want to admit it, but she had fallen in love with Malleus pretty early on into their friendship. She started crushing on him when she was 8, but Malleus thought that she'd developed feelings for him when she was around 17 - around the same time he started developing romantic feelings for her.
skin: Akami has a love-hate relationship with being a demon. She finds her regenerative abilities and Blood Demon Art to be useful during missions. But she hates the fact that she can't walk under the sun and that there's always a risk of her hurting someone.
torture: Can battles with members of the Twelve Kizuki be considered torture? Because Akami certainly feels that way due to how dragged out the fights are. She'd never torture anyone though. People already have their own problems. She's not going to be one of them.
wound: As a demon, Akami usually brushes off her injuries as she can heal them fairly quickly thanks to her regenerative ability. She's lost limbs before and she wasn't too bothered since she can regrow them. The worst injury she got was a burn to the left side of her face. She got that when Malleus attacked her in self-defense as she had gone feral and tried to kill him. The nature of fae fire made it hard for her to heal the burn and it left a permanent scar.

Akami Tatsumi OC asks (not-so-nice edition) PART TWO
ghost: Akami is haunted by her failure to protect her family and village from Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki.
guilt: Apart from failing to protect her village when Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki attacked, Akami feels most guilty about attacking Malleus when he visited her world after she was turned into a demon. She's acknowledged that it was her fault. She just hopes she can get the chance to apologize to him.
hate: Akami hates bitter gourd. It's her least favorite food and she will refuse to eat anything that has bitter gourd in it. She'll push the plate away and refuse to eat unless she's given something else.
heartbreak: Akami is the soulmate of Malleus Draconia and they had a loving friendship that turned into a beautiful romance. Sadly, their relationship was cut short not long after Akami turned 18 on account of Muzan turning her into a demon. When she attacked Malleus, the two of them were forcibly separated by Queen Maleficia.
hide: Akami hides a silver pendant that Malleus gave her when she turned 18. The pendant has a silver dragon cradling a small amethyst heart in its claws. Malleus told her that, as long as she wears the pendant, she carries a piece of his heart with her. Akami hides the pendant under her clothes because she doesn't want anyone to steal it. It's the one tangible thing she has left of her soulmate. No way is she ever giving it up.
hunt: Muzan hunts her due to being the second demon he turned to resist his control. Akami is in a state of constant vigilance whenever she goes out on missions as a result.

Akami wears a figurative mask to mask her inner pain and loneliness. On the outside, she's always got a bright smile and playful personality. Mitsuri and Kagaya Ubuyashiki are the only ones who have seen this vulnerable side of Akami.
midnight: Akami is most active during nighttime so she's usually going on missions during this time. In the morning, she hides away in dark areas where she eats to replenish her strength. Sometimes, she'll train as long as it's in the shade.

Doing this for my OC, Akami Tatsumi :) PART ONE
alone: Akami deals with loneliness by going on missions. She's often alone due to most Demon Slayers being too afraid to team up with her. Akami is mostly quiet and more focused on accomplishing her mission when she's on her own.
betrayal: Akami has never been betrayed, but she feels like she betrayed Malleus when she attacked him in a feral state.
bound: She's been captured by demons on missions before. That was when she was still a rookie and would get careless. Luckily, she was rescued by Mitsuri every time. No physical scars. Akami took those moments as lessons to help her be more vigilant.
break: Akami would break if she hurt or killed someone. Truth be told, she broke down when she was sent back to her world after attacking Malleus. No one's ever seen her break down after that.
desire: Akami wants to be able to meet Malleus again and apologize for attacking him. Preferably after she becomes human again.
failure: Failing to save her family and everyone in her village from Muzan and the Twelve Kizuki. She has sworn vengeance and has joined the Demon Slayer Corps, intending to take down Muzan and as many demons as she can. Mitsuri, Obanai, the Ubuyashiki family, and Tanjiro know this.
fear: Akami's greatest fear is going feral as a demon and hurting people while in that state. To keep herself from going feral, she eats a lot of food to keep her demonic appetites at bay.
future: For Akami, the worst possible future is her remaining a demon forever and giving in to her basest instincts to consume humans. She's doing her best to keep those urges at bay by eating a lot of food (like Mitsuri levels lot) and hunting demons.
