— you can hear a slight change in her tone when she speaks to her familiar, as if the embarrasment made it hard to keep her Fischl persona.

— when you two finally cuddle, she gets flustered very easily, even though she will try to hide her blush at all costs.

— sometimes she talks about her adventures as investigator for the Adventurers' Guild, glad to have found someone who listens to her without judging the way she is.

— if she feels confident enough, she starts to speak more normally and gushes about the new books she has recently read. when that happens, you know very well you're not listening to Fischl– you're listening to Amy instead.

— she feels so safe around you that she doesn't really mind if you see her true self. she even feels... relieved to have someone so important in her life, someone with whom she can share the things she couldn't share with anyone else as a child.

— when she's too hooked on a book, she prefers to read while you play with her hair or with one of her hands.

maybe it was because of your work or maybe because you hadn't been getting as much rest as you needed, but the thing was, you were tired. after a long day, you were finally able to lay in the arms of your girlfriend, not caring about anything else. however, your tiredness began to affect you, and soon enough you saw yourself forced to close your eyes, unable to keep them open for any longer. without a word, you held your lover closer as your breathing started to slow down, and before she knew it, you had already fallen asleep...

it was weird for Rosaria to have time to cuddle with you, considering how busy she usually was with both church duties and her role as a vigilant, not to mention she wasn't the biggest fan of physical affection. but she had made an exception that time, allowing you to lay on top of her as she stroke your hair, no need to exchange a single word. she let you snuggle closer to her, breaking the silence for a moment.

"are you getting comfortable?"

she didn't get any answer from you: you couldn't answer, after all. Rosaria quickly looked down to see your face, only to find you sleeping. just like that. she had expected you to last a little bit longer.

she sighed, looking at the window to see the moon starting to rise. as careful as she could, she managed to move aside without disturbing your dreams; not that anything could, honestly. nights of constant fights had made Rosaria strong enough to carry you with no problem, leaving you on the made once she made her way to your bedroom. however, she wasn't planning on staying with you. before leaving, she looked back at you once more and placed a quick kiss on your forehead.

"good night s/o. I'll be back as soon as possible."

with Yoimiya as your girlfriend, cuddles were almost like a daily thing for you, no matter the place or time. unless you two were watching the fireworks that made her so happy, the blonde would talk nonstop about everything that came to her mind, and you considered yourself lucky whenever you managed to keep up with her.

Fireworks burst in the sky above, splatters of paint against an inky blue canvas flecked with tiny speckles of white. It's captivating, watching a cacophony of colors blossom in the night sky. Some take the shape of a round object with ears and what appears to be feathers attached, some in miscellaneous shapes, some take the form of Itto's beloved Ushi. One in particular explodes in a burst of warm gold, the flames creating the image of two goldfish that brings a soft smile to your lips and sticks in your mind long after the sparks have died.

"Did you see it?!" Yoimiya excitedly asks, having snuck up behind you with a plate of her signature goldfish-shaped dango. She sits beside you on the bench, swinging her legs as she eagerly awaits your response.

"It was gorgeous!" Her childlike laughter fills your stomach with butterflies- Archons, it's so cute. Your mouth is running faster than your mind, and you can barely process the abhorrently cheesy line flying past your lips.

"Not as gorgeous as you." Her laughter intensifies, yet the red dusting her cheeks betrays her.

"You are such a dork!" Yoimiya playfully punches your arm.

— sometimes, she starts stroking your hair out of nowhere, which ends up in you falling asleep in her arms. when she finally pays more attention to your slow breathing and realizes you're sleeping, she kisses your forehead before accommodating herself in a better position, making sure not to disturb your dreams. most times, she doesn't expect you to fall asleep at all, but it doesn't bother her. Taking a last look at the face of the person she fell for, she closes her eyes and tries to get some rest as well.
