Years of decay yet the rose stands
Some beams destroyed but others hold strong
Dark tragic and forbidding
There she stands in the distance
A beautiful horrible sight
Travel the desert hot and long
Confident with horn in hand
Ignore the mirages of despair
And demons of depression
Eyes narrowed and glinting with determination
Traverse the mountain tunnels
lost in thoughts Through paths unknown
Teetering on the edge anxiously
For a chance to catch a glimpse of my fortune
On the golgotha under the stars
Breathing in space, time, the journey ahead
Reach the beach and the monstrositys it holds
There may poison in my system
But it won't control me anymore
I may rest but never falter
Walk the shore looking for clues
Find the doors to different minds to reach my answer
Be Revealed through others
And discover what you find
Compassion and companionship
They will help your love bind
But love is a war of passion
And I'm sorry if you get bit
Find the forest of allure
Yet I can not be sustained

Your eyes and smile still make me weak
I want to melt away your anxiety

I have an ember in my hands
That I would burn the world to keep
Protect it with my soul but someday
Must risk it for a chance to grow
So ill travel alone and fight the storm
Stoke the cinder to keep it aglow
Keep rolling on to see what unfolds
Trudge through murky swamp with the flame held high
Hold it near the heart when the winds blow nigh
As the long days and cold nights crawl by
And the flame burns low, fuel I'll apply
Honey this ain't no deceptive alibi
I'll pay my penance and bide my time
Steep hills I climb and removing grime
To burn myself clean and become my prime
