Today I had the opportunity to present my bioacoustics research at yet another research symposium. I talked about the impact of anthropogenic noise on COYE bird songs and its potential ecological consequences. Overall, I had a wonderful time and I got inspired by so many posters. I am grateful for all the networking I did today.
MACUB conference. Here, I had the pleasure to present my research in Ornithology in field of Bioacoustics and the influence of anthropogenic noise on COYE bird songs and win a 2nd place. Fun fact: it was my first time visiting Connecticut.
Aside from aesthetics, my other passion is academia. I had an amazing opportunity to present my research on the Effects of Microplastics on Neurodevelopment in Wildlife and Humans at the Museum of Natural History in New York City. It was an awesome experience for me to network and connect with my peers and faculty.
