I found myself wandering through the winding trails of the forest, surrounded by the soothing symphony of nature's beauty.
There's something truly magical about losing yourself amidst the towering trees and sun-dappled paths, where every step leads to moments of peace.
As I walk, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the simple joys and wonders that surround me.
I always find peace in nature's quiet embrace.

Such profound simplicity.
It's as if she's captured the essence of the human experience.
The perpetual longing, the restless searching within ourselves for something elusive and undefined.
These words resonate deeply, reminding me of the universal yearning for understanding and fulfilment that lies at the core of our being.
Julia de Burgos, tr. by Jack Agüeros, from Song of the Simple Truth: The Complete Poems of Julia de Burgos; "Moments"

This is a friendly reminder to never, ever publish your book with a publishing company that charges you to publish with them. That is a vanity press, which makes money by preying on authors. They charge you for editing, formatting, cover art, and more. With most of these companies, you will never seen a cent of any royalties made from sale of your book. A legitimate publishing company only makes money when you make money, they will never charge you to publish with them. If a company approaches you and says "Hey, we'll publish your book, just pay us X amount of money," tell them to go fuck themself and block them.

Cosy Café Chronicles: Discovering London
As a self-proclaimed café connoisseur and avid explorer of all things cosy, I'm excited to share some of my recent finds from my wanderings around London! Here are a few gems that stole my heart:
☕️ Farm Girl: Farm Girl in Notting Hill is a charming café known for its rustic-chic décor and wholesome, farm-to-table fare. I loved their rose latte and I recommend their bowls.
☕️ Attendant Fitzrovia: Attendant Fitzrovia is a converted Victorian toilet-turned-café. They do specialty coffee. It's a very unique and cosy space.
☕️ Kahaila Café: Kahaila Café in Brick Lane is a social enterprise café dedicated to supporting local artists and charitable causes. They have ethically sourced coffee and delicious homemade cakes. It's a lovely and welcoming space.
If you ever find yourself in London and haven't tried these, definitely do!

This quote hit me right in the feels.
It's such a beautiful reminder to embrace our worthiness and bask in the love that surrounds us, both from others and from within ourselves. In a world that often tells us we're not enough, it's crucial to cultivate a space where we can affirm our goodness and acknowledge our inherent value.
Take a moment today to kneel into your own dream of self-love and acceptance. You are worthy. You are loved. And don't you forget it!
