i can see my hands wrapped around your throat turning it purple the way my lips never will "love me" i yell as if i’m not ruining the chance i never had

Hard to love/Seasick

i am hard to love the boat you ride is rocking constantly  with the waves of my feelings they crash violently against the rocky shore of my thoughts but that is all inside the world in my head i am hard to love you may get seasick on your boat  but you will never feel the frigid water hit your skin for it falls back down on to me sinking deeper into my bones so they will never dry out i am hard to love you have a hard time staying upright  but the ocean is locked so tightly in my mind  that it will never so much as mist your hand the hand you so hesitantly hold out to me the hand that pulls back so quickly as you realize how sharp the shore really is i am hard to love i am easy to leave for your boat will never get beached i do everything in my power to quell the waves that push you around yet they are waves of my own creation i am hard to love but you have barely witnessed my pain never felt the depths of my ocean never gone under the waves so i am easy to leave

sometimes i wonder if you’ve ever thought about being an actor. because for someone who never loved me you made me feel so loved.

i am sedimentary, i am trapped in the concrete that is the sidewalk in front of your house. and everyday you walk through me as if i was never there at all.
