I still can't fkn believe how some supervisor @ PB looked at the new MC designs and genuinely thought "those look so awesome, such a huge improvement over the old ones" and actually green-lighted the changes 🤯

If you romance Cas they gets to a certain point of growth in book 1 and in book 2 they seems kinda immature like they've regressed, they get upset and storms off a lot. It feels like their confessing their feelings didn't move the relationship forward. Like the story is subtly pushing you towards Gabe because obvs Gabe is always reasonable. It's like Cas has learnt nothing. For example MC and Gabe getting branded was all Cas's fault. They are low key just a one note, like they have no personal growth beyond being bad and loving MC. Gabe hated themselves but now has accepted being a vampire and they are thriving while Cas is just not really different from when MC first met them.

Certain books... Cough cough cough... TRR... In them none of the love interests show any form of jealousy ever!
