ayato’s eyebrows quirks up, a soft smile growing on his lips like freshly blooming camellias. he laughs under his breath before reaching out to your hand and intertwining your fingers in a tight, reassuring grip, "𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬.”

childe’s breath hitches - he was not expecting anything like that coming from you when you called his name. caught off guard, pink dusted his cheeks and he gives you a shy grin, a shy laugh, and a shy look as he brings up one of his hands, jutting the last of his fingers, eyes shining with hope, “𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞?”

diluc thinks he can combust into fire right then and now; it’s a struggle for him to remain composed, as the color of his face gradually shifts to match the color of his hair. in an attempt to preserve his dignity, he brings one hand to your cheek and gives you what he hopes is a suave smile (though from your perspective they look more like a lovesick grin), “𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐢 𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝.”

gorou’s tail begins to do a 360 at maximum speed, it’s a wonder how he hasn’t flown off the ground by this point. his ears twitch and he shifts on his legs, hopeful green eyes searching for something in yours, “𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲? 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭, 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭? 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢-𝐢’𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮! 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫!”

heizou swiftly turns his momentary surprise into his signature teasing smirk. although, if you look closely enough his hands are slightly trembling as he cups your cheeks to plant a kiss onto your nose, “𝐦𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐨 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞~”

kaeya chokes on his spit, eyes blinking rapidly as he stares at you. my, it seems that you’ve managed to catch him off guard by your sudden confession. the navy blue-haired cavalry captain clears his throat, his eyes gleaming, as he gives you a trembling grin and a laugh, before leaning your foreheads to each other, “𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭…. 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬, [𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞].”

kazuha smiles wider and closes his eyes to savor the happiness enveloping his chest. his hand seeks yours to place a loving kiss on the back of your palm, and his voice is just as filled with adoration, if not a tad breathless, “𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧, 𝐢 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝.”

scaramouche rolls his eyes at your cheesy words and crosses his arms in mock irritation; just as he always does whenever you show him the slightest bit of affection at first. but his tone is far too soft and quiet when he replies, and he makes no attempt to move away when you pout and cling to him. “𝐡𝐦𝐩𝐡. 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞.” “𝐰𝐡-𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞?! 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞-”

xiao gasps audibly and looks away, reds creeping up his neck to fully envelop his whole face. his eyes are glassy when he finds the courage to return your patiently waiting gaze, and though his voice is shaky you can feel the resolve in each and every word, “𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐢 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭.”

zhongli’s eyes droop into soft honey full of warmth and joy as he sees the sincerity in your whole being the moment those words leave your lips. as he pulls you into a passionate kiss, you think you hear him replying in a hushed voice - “𝐢 𝐚𝐦 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝, 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢 𝐭𝐨𝐨, 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.”

Our ‘’Ordinary’’ World

Prologue 1

‘’This world is divided into two, Humans and creatures. Humans are simple beings, driven by their passions and desires, each person has something they strive for, a wish, a want.’’

A soft voice rings through the quiet forest, the moon high up in the sky giving traces of light upon a small dirt path.

‘’Creatures, on the other hand, are more unique, every species is different in it’s own way. One might call it magical, to witness such beings with their own eyes, though others would say that they’re not much different than humans in certain ways.’’

Footsteps accompany the voice, a man walking along the path, unaware of the eyes following him from the darkness of the treeline.

‘’However, one must not get too close, for they are not what they seem. They slid in through the cracks and crept into the human society, making their home among us. Not to be fooled, they are still highly dangerous and manipulative. They will take any chance to cause harm to those weaker than them, making lives of many a living nightmare.’’

A breeze flows by, extinguishing the candlelight and thus leaving the man in complete

Darkness. Sensing a presence near him and turning to check, he is met with a pair of eyes.

‘’Getting the creatures away from humans once again should be a priority in the world, they shouldn’t be mingling, else more catastrophes will happen and more lives will be ruined.’’

A woman stands to the side of the path, eyes locked onto the creature feasting.The way it has no remorse or thought about it’s actions. A small figure stands behind the woman, watching her.

Suddenly,the thing raises it’s bloody head, locking it’s gaze upon the poor soul who stumbled upon it, a wicked grin shows off it’s sharp teeth. A chuckle like noise escapes it’s throat as the woman backs up. Deep down she knows what that means.

A promise.

CUTE THINGS THEY DO FOR YOU !

AYATO. he gets you your favorite flowers. wherever he is and he sees them, he thinks of you. those are the flowers he gave you on your very first date, and you have been telling him how many memories you connect to it. he has to pick them, absolutely loves your smile when he gives a bouquet to you. you always keep the flowers until the last minute when they are all dried up, that’s when ayato knows he has to get you new ones. warms his heart to see you get so excited about them.

DILUC. whenever you are working or studying, he’d make you your favorite drink and little snacks. always asks if you need something, and tells you to take a little break, so you don’t overwork yourself. it’s adorable how much he pays attention to your needs, and always there if you need him. it’s the little things that make it special; he has memorized what your go-to snack is, and always keeps it around. in your breaks, he’s always there to give you some hugs too.

CHILDE. whenever he travels, he makes sure to get you little souvenirs from the different countries. one of those always has to be a cookbook, filled with native dishes from that nation. you have a whole collection from them now, and always get excited to get new ones. his goal is always to cook the meals from them for you, or even cook together. he loves trying out new things, and what’s even better is to do it with you and make you happy.

1. My friends describe me as ‘the littlest, angriest chihuahua that would bite at a moments notice but give her a scritch and some positive attention and you suddenly have an obedient lil airhead’

2. I feel I’m not good talking or interacting, so I tend to take the place of ‘the funny friend’ who doesn’t talk much and on the small times I do it’s with the goal of making SOMEONE laugh

3, I like exploring at night, going on walks and collecting things. Anything really, cute rocks, seaglass if I’m near water, pretty bugs that have died

4. I guess I should mention my anxiety, ADD, and depression making my mood VERY touchy. I can be ok one moment, happy another, immediately drop to upset, bubble up to angry, and so on

I think that’s about it? Hope it’s informant enough! Love your work, keep it up, but take care of yourself!
