Norman is very low Mantience.
a factor His assistant Rachel (i mad cup her name cuz she doens't ahem one in the credit of the film ) is very grateful for.
he never asks her to run around the city to do crazy tasks but stuff pertains to his job mainly. if he has dry cleaning he picks it himself if he has time or has it delivered.
Norman usually etas breakfast at home or gets something to eat along the way while dropping harry off to school.
and she is well paid too and it helps her support her daughter and pays her bills so she has no complaints.
he is very mild mannered as well, he's usually nice and respectful, not ego driven or high strung, like alot of people in field.

Horatio Caine Childhood Headcanons
Horatio was born in Queens,NY in a lower income part of the city.
His father was an Irish immigrant and his mother was a danish immigrant. His dad came over when he was 6 ,his parents died on the way over. His mother came over at the age of 6 but her parents died at 13.
His dad worked in construction, his mom was a house wife.
His brother Raymond and him are 5 years apart.
Horatio neighborhood was very racially diverse. A lot of Irish and Italian immigrants but also black and Hispanic ones too.
Down the street was a Black couple who owned a laundromat his mom would go to and do laundry at and they would sometimes give him or his brother change and or buy him some ice cream.
He had a group of friends whose parents were sanctioned in one way to another even abusive as well. So abuse was normal for him.
They would all subway surf on top of the subways ever since they were kids to get around the city. Don’t always have money to get everywhere so they hitched a ride anyway lol looking back he can’t believe he was so reckless but he did it because it was fun.
At 4 years old his dad wanted him to make sure he had a better education so he transfers him to a school further away and where he met his Best friend Carla Dominguez.
He would lie about getting banished up by saying he was beat up by some guys on the way to school. Which they believed because he did live in a poorer part of NYC but it was his father.
On his 10th birthday Carla Family would gift him with toys and on his bday and Christmas all the time but on his 10th they gave him a new bike and Horatio was happy as clam and rode it all the way home and rode it round his neighborhood and his father out of the blue any he’d him off the bike and drug him down to Carla’s home, to this day Horatio still doesn’t know how he got he even KNEW where she lived, and begging, pleading and crying the whole way and banging on there door with the bike in the other hand yelling at them about “buying his kid stuff” Carla was home and was shocked and knew from that pint on how dangerous and scary his father was and how Horatio was along treated at home. But the family decided to keep all his toys at their house which was fine because Carla had no siblings and there a spare room they have and decorated it for Horatio if anything ever happened.
He wanted to wear bell bottoms one time in the 70s and heard him say something about how men shouldn’t be having anything that close to their legs that light and for some reason that stick with him and never could wear bell bottoms.
He was really good at math and chemistry and loved the subject alot.
He doesn't remember ever having a dream like most kids did, his brother always had dreamed to be a police officer, but Horatio didn't have one. he decided to be a cop later on in life.
his parents were able o get him and his birther to go to a better s cool in upper queens
Horatio one day asked his mom why doesn't she leave and go with him, Ray, but the look on her face told her she couldn't go anywhere even if she wanted too, so he never asked again.
Horatio would try and spend every morning out on their balcony and stair at the sun peeking through the buildings.

They exchange wedding bracelets of a color variation unique to them, that no other couple is allowed to duplicate…
It ends with “Made husband and wife this day–and for all days hence. May the countenance of Rao ever shine on you” and then there is a wedding kiss.
Kryptonian law forbids divorce, so once the couple is married, there is no way to dissolve the marriage.
Perhaps because of that, for one hundred years, Matricomp, a computer who could judge relationships, had to pre-approve marriages to test the couiples’ compatability. By law, a marriage could only go through if approved by Matricomp, and it was treason to defy its rulings. Until the computer went haywire and Jor-El managed to destroy it, rendering the law invalid.
The marriage of cousins was unlawful, unlike some cultures here on Earth.
It was traditional for newlyweds from all over Krypton to come to the Fire Falls for good luck.

Harry loved to paint.
Harry also loved to wrote and paint and sketch
he was very gifted as a child something his teachers noticed early on.
he had more creative interest like his mother Emily Lyman, who was an actress.
But he hasn't painted since he was a child.
Harry was sent off to boarding school when he was a kid Norman wan ted harry too have a great education, he was sent to a private Schoo in London.
Harry hate it m=, he could t wait to go home every summer and tried to let his dad know he hated it but his dad just thought harry just had to get sued to it. but harry became more and more withdrawn form anything. he'd rather sit by himself and draw than play with any other boys and even though ehe a very outgoing child and friendly.
His father had gotten Called to theschool because harry was at risk of failing and took a fast flight out to his school, and was confused as to why harry was fair his teacher commented on Harry ebbing with drawn and how he sounds most if his time lately and showed Norman and said complimented hair talents.
but Norman in the moment all he saw was red. he was triggered back to his ex wife Emily and how she was creative and all those bad feelings about her came out and he went off.
Harry never up until hat point heard his father yell before, at anyone ket alone him and harry was shocked and dumbstruck and hurt as he watched his dad yell at him for getting in trouble..
The whole office went quiet at the berating of poor harry. even his teacher couldn't make of any if it.
from that mount after Harry never drew again but he that didnt stop him from not adapting to the school either, eventually jai dad got the memo at 12 years old and let him go to public school in America.
(I know in the deleted scene we see harry painting in spider man 3 and I always assumed it was due to him hitting his dead and subconsciously he suppressed alot of takensta nd gfts he had before and a=wondered if that was the case what caused him to get into it. because ei know trauma can also make spoil suppress things so this si what I thought if )
