now loading 2019...... . . . This year was all about growth and change. I made a commitment at the end of 2017 to tackle those things that were holding me back personally. Whether it was a bad habit or a toxic trait, I made sure to check myself and account for the behaviors that I knew were not going to make me a better woman. It is a slow, hard process, but it gets a little easier everyday. I know I’ve had some small setbacks and failures along the way, but I’m so grateful to have family and friends unapologetically call me on my regression, and still tell me and show me how much they love me and appreciate me. This year, I had a long talk with the universe about my uncertainty in my next steps. Before I could fall to the pit of procrastination, she made up her mind for me. I was forced me out of a guaranteed paycheck, but in return I got the freedom and space I’d been craving. I’ve had so much time to focus on the things that I love to do, the things that truly feed my soul; so much time that I FINALLY released my debut project! I’m so happy to have found the courage to share the 5 songs that were in a sense artistically holding me hostage. It’s been a long journey “From the Ashes” but I’m so grateful for every trial along the way. I’m still searching for my ultimate happiness, but the fact that I’m on the right track and growing everyday at the right time keeps me smiling.
