»Mehendi – No lifelong commitment, No artistic skills required« (excerpts)
Speaking up by the use of henna.
During my 2-month-residency with Goethe-Institut and Blank Noise last year in Bangalore I invited women from different cultural and professional backgrounds to take part in a collaborative process, exchanging what each one of us would like to share about being a woman.
We learned about similarities and differences between us and want to share these insights with you. Because it is time to speak up, to show our own perspectives, instead of accepting that others do so for us.
