Sweetheart, if you wanted to see a story completely driven by narrative events, go read Thucydides Peloponnesian War. I can guarantee you’ll like it. It’s just one event after the other, with no focus on any of the characters.

Juggernaut gave us the audience a chance to decompress after the stress of the last couple episodes, which were really intense. And I’m very glad it did, too, because I’m tired of crying. I don’t want all my memories of watching this final season to be about how much I cried. I want to laugh at Wrecker’s excitement for chaos. I want to cheer as our boys wreak absolute havoc on an imperial prison. I want to seeth at the fact that Rampart is now loose instead of serving a life sentence for all the pain he’s caused. I want my heart to go out to Crosshair, who is clearly dealing with some heavy shit in the aftermath of whatever hell Hemlock put him through off-screen. I want to be confused and nervous for Hunter as he takes risks we’ve seen him balk at in prior episodes.

I want to *feel*

If the emotional journey of our characters is unimportant to you, then I’m very sorry, but you’ve kinda missed the whole point. This is a story about family. And families exist because of the emotional attachments people have to each other. You cannot have the Bad Batch without episodes that focus on Hunter, Crosshair, Omega, Tech, Wrecker and Echo’s emotional development.

uh... am i the only who felt this 12 episode seemed like a filler? like... idk, it missed something
