Due to money problems (as usual), I will be selling my decks. This means that my shop is closing for now, I don't know when I'll get new decks, if ever but unfortunately I have to sell my most valuable possessions to make up for some tight money issues.
It's been fun, guys. Thanks for participating in my shop and giving me a chance to be active in the community.

April 21, 2024.
I haven't done anything witchy in a week or so, mainly because I was packing to go to my home town. My best friend got married, and I was in her lineup! We just got back earlier today and figured I'd update now.

I sat outside for a long time today, just listening to music and feeling the elements that were present (air and earth). I've been tremendously sad the last week, and I've had strong urges of SH. Sitting outside was really helpful to reset myself.

I didn't do a ton of meditation today, but I took a long shower and just kinda let the water cleanse me of some negative emotions. I also cut some of my hair, and possibly after dinner, I will be attempting to bleach it.
I did go to the library and look around, I didn't find anything useful to my craft (thanks Utah!) But I did pick up a book I used to read back in high-school (Alice in Zombieland, might do a book review on that on my main blog or create a new blog just for book and app reviews).
I'm making Keilbasa and potatoes tonight for dinner, a good hardy meal, I think.

I'm excited to go see what my local library has to offer and even just look around my local witch shops as well. I'm trying not to be so stubborn and just more open to things.
A goal I have with getting back to my old practice is reading more witchcraft related books. Even if they're not about the type of witchcraft that I practice (even wicca based books). I just want to, I don't know, start over?
I just want to sort of look at things in a new way, like as if I'm looking at them for the first time and not being so critical of the things that I see and just immediately disagree with them as I usually would.

from the way that those are all typed it seems like one person. i dont think you can block anons anymore from desktop (something about if you block them and they followed you, you could figure out who it is which is stupid you should be able to block harassment) but there still is a way to block ip addresses at the very least
Yeah, I believe that it's all the same person. I'm not sure why I got targeted with the religious spam, but oh well.

I'm getting back to my roots.
When I started witchcraft, my main deity was Nyx, and the way that I felt most connected was by calling on the elements.
It's great that I grew and my beliefs changed over time, but I've been having this yearning to get back to my roots.
I'm going to really try to start meditating on the elements and doing more divination in a more connected way. I'm gonna even try to bring back card of the day on here or at least some less taxing version of it.
Recent conversations with several people have made me open my eyes to some shitty behavior of mine that isn't healthy and should be amended.
I think getting back to who I was when I started would help release some negative energies from my life.

Witchcraft has NEVER been, nor will it ever be a religion!!!!!
Witchcrft is a spiritual practice, for the self, of the self. There are no deities that rule over witchcraft.
There can be religious witches, but this is from the religions they practice. Such as Wicca, Pagan, Norse, Christian Witches.
Religions have a deity (or deities) that rule over their devotees. Witchcraft DOES NOT.

I will NOT be answering questions about the G-Man or demons/angels or anything remotely Christian if yall are gonna behave like this. Like respect my practice, and I'll respect your religion. Don't be coming around to me asking shit if you're gonna get offended.

In your expert opinion, what is a demon? How is witchcraft not about summoning demons? You people will literally worship things that the Bible says is wrong to worship. The Bible says witchcraft is wrong.
I never said that I was an expert, but okay......?
A demon is "an evil spirit or devil, especially one thought to possess a person or act as a tormentor in hell." Definition taken from Google.
In the Bible, before the creation of mankind, demons were once angels that once worshipped the Big G Man. They rebelled and fell with Lucifer, also called "Satan" by Christians and the like.
Witchcraft is not about summoning anything other than energy to you so that you can push it out into the universe to interact with other similar energies for a specific outcome. I suppose you can summon deities and other spirits to help assist you with spells, but I don't personally believe that it works that way. I believe that deities and spirits are already around and present. They just choose not to show themselves.
You're right. The Bible does say that you shouldn't practice witchcraft or else you shall be put to death. However...... Hinduism is the oldest form of religion, which is more than 4,000 (four thousand) years old. Christianity is roughly 2,000 (two thousand) years old. To make things worse for Christians, Judiasm is older than Christianity.
You can't claim to be an all idk, controlling? religion when you're not even the oldest religion there is. Idk dude, there are so many other cultures out there that are older and just have my respect more than Christianity, and that's honestly because of people like you, anon.
Like, I don't mind if you want to spread your message and religion, but like, yall are going about it so wrong and so forcefully that no one wants to be a part of the religion. You are giving your religion a bad rap.
I respect the religion, and I respect yalls beliefs until yall try telling me that I can't practice something or be gay because your religion restricts it. Stick to being restricted, and I'll stick to my practices.

What do you practice? Why? What got you into witchcraft?
My practice is Chaotic/Eclectic/Grey.
I worship and work with many deities from Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and Daedric pantheons (they can all be found listed in my Pinned post).
Why? Because this is the most comfortable of the practices. I consider my practice to be really chaotic, and I may work with energies that some people may consider to be "dark" and energies that people consider to be "light."
I've always been into witchcraft but never fully jumped on board until I met Nyx, who I found through reading The House of Night books. She connected with me, and I started doing more and more research into the practice.

I miss your 4 biggest fans free readings :/
I do, too, to be honest. Too many people would just ignore the rules for any of my free readings and were just too disrespectful, so I had to pause the readings.

Do you believe in demons and angels?
I believe in the existence of evil and good beings and energy. But I wouldn't call them angels or demons.

I want to add a story that I remembered about when I first started practicing witchcraft.
After I had completed my first spell, I asked my deities for a sign of its completion. I didn't think to ask of a very specific sign, one that wouldn't be common to just stumble upon. For weeks afterward, I kept finding "coincidence" after "coincidence." It was driving me absolutely insane because I wasn't sure if the coincidences were the sign or if I was just looking for coincidences and trying to make those into a sign.
It was absolutely terrifying seeing all of things things line up, I had thought that I made my gods upset at me. Eventually, I forgot about it, and I stopped seeing things line up.
These "coincidences" that I found, I realized later that when our minds are looking for something, then we'll start to see it more and more. If we think the color blue, we'll start to see more blue things. It's not a coincidence when we look for it, even subconsciously.
This is the same with dreams. I've noticed that when I think about something (like snakes), I'll later dream about that thing.
I think a true coincidence is something that completely baffles you. And I think that a true sign is something you don't have to ask: "Is this a sign?" You'll just know.
Sorry for the ramble.
as a witch, how are you so skeptical about different things? Shouldn't you immediately believe that something is witchy rather than mundane?
Skeptical how? I wouldn't say skeptical, but I do look for the mundane over the mysterious/witchy.
I don't believe everything 100% because having blind faith in things can be dangerous and misleading.

what's wrong with a white person practicing voodoo?
You're kidding, right?
Voodoo is folk magic that originates from Haiti. When Africans were captured and forced into slavery, this caused their cultures and religious beliefs to collide with Catholicism.
Many slaves were forced into Catholicism because their "owners" (white people) were Catholic, so when they were forced into the religion, they also brought their own practices and basically merged the two to create Voodoo.
Voodoo has its own rituals, leaders, teachers, representatives, services, and two branches; The Vodou of New Orleans and Louisiana and the Vodou of Haiti.
It's kinda taboo for a white person to practice something that was created because white people couldn't just let another group of people live freely.
Like with Native American practices, I suggest speaking to someone who is actively practicing Voodoo to learn more and be respectful while doing so. If they say no, then back off, don't cause anymore trouble for white people than white people already have.
