I didn't have the chance to finish the og Magnus Archives and have been thinking about picking it up again.

Ah that's where my frame rate has been going....

RAVENLOFT SANDBOX

Far below what light can never hope to reach, the catacombs of Ravenloft lie still except for one who built its very walls. Strahd paces the cracking cobble stone study for an answer within its countless tomes, only to ever come back to the same place. He grits his fangs as he comes back to the same word again and again. He burns for he knows there's only has one path, and he must choose between that and his promise. The same anger burns in his stomach as he hisses it aloud.

WELCOME TO MY HUMBLE GAME.

My name is Warwick and I am the DM for a new Ravenloft Sandbox.

The story has been revised from the basic WOTC material as to avoid story spoilers and to allow for some of the older material to be implimented.

The game is a sandbox do what you wanna do. Fight who you wanna fight , etc.

My gaming style is more based in story than in combat however due to the module being infamous for TPKs I have no idea what is about to happen.

Random Jewelry Generator

Follow the tables below to generate a random piece of jewelry complete with a random material, gemstone, style, and type! Pair this with the Gemstone Generator on my other post for even more random results.

Jewelry Material

Pieces of jewelry can be made with a variety of materials. I tried to make it more common to get gold or silver since most sought-after jewelry would be made from those materials. Pewter contains a lot of tin so those were lumped together, and platinum, rhodium, and palladium are all members of the platinum group, chemically, so I lumped those together as well.

Gemstones

Here is a link to my random gemstone generator. It was a little too lengthy for this one blog post so I made it a separate one since it can have a different use. You can also roll randomly on the Gems tables in the Dungeon Master’s Guide (page 134). For the purposes of this jewelry generator, though, you should determine the quantity of gems on the piece. I kept the terminology vague since the jewelry can come in many sizes.

Appearance and Style

While I could go on about different art movements and list every object in the world that could be turned into jewelry, I tried to keep my terminology open enough here to allow artistic interpretation for your setting. Any specific motifs I added due to their overwhelming occurrence throughout history, like “flowers” and “ribbons.” A roll of 20 will bring you to the Figurines table further down in the generator.

Looking for players🎊

My name is Warwick and I am the DM for the Cruxia homebrew campaign!!! The world is 100% homebrew (non GMO,Organic DND BS) and is a sandbox. So, do what you want PvP is allowed, and has occurred…

I am here to announce we have an opening at the table for a new player🎉🎉🎉

We are looking for someone who fits the following requirements and is respectful:

Show up . We hold the game weekly every Tuesday at 8:00pm. We use Discord and ROLL20. Skype is a back up when discord craps out.

Don’t be not a rule lawyer. “Rule book? I haven’t heard that name in years…” The group is lax about a lot of rules and it’s basically what fits the story best or what makes the game more fun for us. I’m not a stickler for it and neither is the group.

Be prepared to hoard secrets. This group’s bread and butter is their secrets ,since PvP is allowed there is a chance your fellow party member may not have your best interests at heart. We do a lot of back door deals here, and a lot of things are played under the table out of sight of the game.

Be truthful. I allow at home rolling, however all I ask is that you be honest what you roll. This isn’t for me, this is for the Dice Gods. They speak at our table and I’ve learned better than to ignore them…

Valmora is the crooked crown of the Cruxia and the pinnical of trade. The land is primarily swamplands, marshes, and grasslands. The country is divided in half by a natural obstruction called the Gnarled Labyrinth, a sprawling swamp that devours many who enter and Fester upon the bones of ancient cities.

Patheon,planes,and playing the game:

Cruxia has a homebrew pantheon of Gods. I have also made my own planes to accommodate them with cities and inhabitants to boot. If you want to add anything to my world in your BG run it by me first but almost always I’ll love it and happily add it.

Back ground 🌅

Brinekeep, the capital and metropolis that encompasses the northern half of the country. Ten years almost to the day a fifth of the population died in wake of a lich turned traitor as he effectively killed almost the entire city’s ruling houses leaving the city in chaos and with an impatient ruler with seats to be filled. Thus the cut throats and power hungry of the city rose up to claim their place. Even now ten years later the seats around Aggrin are ever changing with the faces of those who have yet to succumb to the tide of change.

But it is not only these guilds that keep the power in the city.

But the dead as well.

Be chill. We have a good vibe going at the table. We will joke out of character and share memes during game and it’s a really laid back time. Don’t take that from us please.

Barrens, what remains of those lost to the lich who split the earth of the temple. Revenants, or something of kin to that;living only in the plants that bind to them. Their Verdants. They tame the Labyrinth, delveing deep into the throws of the earth to takr the ancient items from their draconian cradle. However some things are best left forgotten…

I need 1 more player to my Valmora Homebrew game😁

The game is weekly and held every Tuesday at 8:00 PM EST.

We conduct the game on discord and Roll20. I need said player to have access to a computer as to access their sheet.

You MUST be LGBT friendly or don’t bother applying 😁

The game is homebrew with a current number of five random players that have all come together to make memes and ruin any semblence of story I can think of. I made everything myself and some of the classes are a bit tweaked on flavor but mechanics are still the same.

Magic is controversial in my world so heads up in that.

I have a pantheon I made myself or if you wish to add to it yourself by bringing your own god I’m open to that as well.

The setting is a trade country filled with daunting swamps and grassy forests. It’s more RP and guild based. The group just wrapped up it’s 6th session.

PVP is allowed in game. I don’t encourage it but I let the dice do their thing.

Also personal request but if you could come Juul and baked bean free that would be great.

Of all the campaigns it would be this one...

have i ever posted about my favorite thing in Any d&d adventure book i’ve looked at because let me show you this thing in curse of strahd

first things first you open the door to the room and Hundreds And Hundreds Of Skulls Fall Out

like, so many fucking skulls

it takes 5 minutes to clear out all of the skulls and then there’s a separate room that now has skulls fucking Everywhere on the floor which if that isn’t incredible

there’s a chest Glued To The Ceiling 30 feet up so naturally people are like oh Fuck there’s GOTTA be some good shit in there

you guys need to understand the glue holding this chest to the ceiling is a Legendary level magic time that can only be removed by another legendary level magic item (or a rare one) or a fucking wish spell

again it’s 30 feet up there on the ceiling so if someone wants to even attempt to open it they either gotta fly up, spiderwalk, or do some kinda other shenanigans

once they reach the chest it ain’t fucking moving from the ceiling so you gotta attempt to open it while you’re 30 feet in the air

it’s got a DC25 strength check so better hope you’ve got a barbarian around

your party has done it after probably a lot of whacky misadventures you finally manage to pry this chest open

the barbarian throws the chest lid open, ready to catch anything that might spill out of it

they suddenly heard screams of surprise from the rest of the party, and look down to see the floor has opened up underneath them and they’re now laying in a pile on the ground

look back into the chest

it’s fucking empty

mind you. this is in an ancient temple made to house the vestiges of formless eldritch horrors who tempt the players with extraordinary powers at the risk of them getting corrupted whose guardians long since went insane and killed each other and whose skulls now roam the halls eternally protecting the place amongst OTHER scary things that lurk in the place and all of a sudden there’s a whacky puzzle featuring an absurdly difficult to open chest That Is Completely And Utterly Empty
