My favorite design from this year’s MOSS MADNESS drop - Fuchsia Reindeer moss hiding color shifting mylar inclusions make for a simply STUNNING dice set.
Based on Oregon, MontroseBiology crafts ecology-themed table top games that blend education, art and entertainment. A delight for ecology and game enthusiasts alike, the games also serve as valuable tools for understanding awareness about appreciating and protecting our natural world.
Advice for anyone and everyone getting into tabletop mini games from 40K to Conquest to Star Wars. Never ever ever EVER let anyone talk you into or out of buying a mini because of "their rules." Rules come and go but plastic/resin is forever.
You're gonna be spending time and money building and painting all these lil toys. Do it cuz they look cool and fun to paint. NOT because they have super awesome rules FOR NOW, and don't pass or miss out on something you LIKE because their rules are trash FOR NOW.
Finally got these guys finished up for a buddy of mine. He's still new to tabletop gaming so I told him to throw me 4 mechs and a paint scheme. These guys are part of the Tooth of Ymir mercenary unit. I took a little bit of a liberty and skipped the extra black lines in the brown areas to give it more camo and less flash from the official paint scheme. I thought I would hate the Mackie, but ended up enjoying it quite a bit. There is something special about this walking water tank that I kinda liked after working on it for a while. Favorite out of the four is the BattleAxe with no contest.
From left to right we have a Banshee, Awesome, Mackie, and a BattleAxe.
Shadowrun is like the monkey’s paw of TTRPGs: you get an amazing setting and really cool lore, but you have to also contend with some of the most unwieldy, obtuse set of rules this side of Warhammer 40K.
A flood of opaque sage folds into gold foil inclusions in this subtle, but stunning dice set. Why *TEST* your luck, when you can just buy it in the next shop update!?
I know next to nothing about Vampire: The Masquerade, but here's a character concept anyway;
A Toreador that's obsessed with 80's/90's retro aesthetics/games and runs a small arcade.
• Operates during the day, since Arcades don't have windows to let sunlight in anyway.
• Snacks on negligent/abusive parents.
• Touchstone is that one kid that runs around telling everyone else what tricks to use to win every single game (there's always at least one in every generation).
• Forges ownership paperwork under different names when necessary, but always works the floor himself. Not a lot of people go to arcades over the course of so many years that it'd be suspicious to see the same clerk.
• Other toreadors hate him because he shows up at clubs in bright neon patterned dress shirts, cut off jorts and obnoxiously purple sunglasses and says things like "Radical" and "Right on" and "Daddy-o"
