Sukka headcanons bc they deserve it!!

Sokka always wants pets w/out actual responsibility and suki is fantastic with animals (see: appa’s lost days) so they always have animals around. They feed stray cats, have bird feeders, etc.

When sokka is visiting kyoshi island he always goes in for one of suki’s self defense classes even though he’s long mastered the forms. He just likes watching suki teach

Whenever sokka meets someone in his time as a republic city councilman who needs self defense classes- benders, nonbenders, adults and kids alike- he always recommends suki to them

When sokka grows his hair out (bc long hair sokka supremacy!!) they have matching hairdos

Suki secretly finds sokka hilarious and just won’t admit it bc she has a reputation dammit. but she’s transparent and everyone totally knows

Suki loves the warmth of the fire nation while sokka is always complaining it’s too hot. This works out bc suki likes to hog blankets

After the war, zuko’s life changing field trip with suki is hunting for sokka’s boomerang and space sword in a random earth kingdom field so she can give them to him as gifts (could be zukki i guess)

They are both night owls and hate getting up early, if left unattended they’ll sleep till noon

Hyper productive together, when their minds come together they get shit done

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

not super unpopular but maybe mako? i think lots of people just see him as korra and asami's ex and so they either don't like him or don't care about him but there's much more to his character than that, bryke just can't write so it didn't come across well in the show

probably sokka, i think i ship him with like everyone that's age appropriate to a certain extent lmao. but zukka/sukka/zukki supremacy

Some random Zukki headcanons for you, dear anon.

They’re always touching each other! They’re all touch-starved and they’re all super physically affectionate so it’s impossible to be next to each other and not holding hands or leaning against each other.

Sokka says ‘Dad’ and ‘Bato’. Suki says ‘Dadkoda and Dadto’. Zuko says ‘Chief Hakoda’ and ‘Chief Bato, sir’. He’s a little intimidated by Bato.

Suki and Zuko are both into really trashy dramas. Sokka hates them but he reads them anyway because he wants to be involved in their discussions.

Suki and Zuko try to learn a bit more about engineering to help Sokka with his inventions (Suki is better at it than Zuko) but more often than not they just write to Teo and ask him to come and help instead.

Suki prefers to be the little or middle spoon and Sokka prefers to be the big or middle spoon. Zuko doesn’t mind which spoon he is as long as he is included.

Zuko buys so much stuff for his partners! He’ll purposely go out shopping for Sokka (Sokka is a stuff-gremlin) but he’ll end up picking up just as much for Suki because they made him think of her.

They all lovingly roast each other all the time, but Sokka and Suki are better at it than Zuko.

They’re the best uncles and aunt! Sokka is Bumi’s fave (non-bender supremacy), Zuko is Tenzin’s fave (because he spoils them) and Suki is Kya, Lin and Suyin’s fave (because girl-power).

Related: Katara, Azula and Kiyi all like Suki best too - but Katara begrudgingly respects Zuko, and Azula begrudgingly admires Sokka and Kiyi is obsessed with all of her big siblings <3

They eventually move to the SWT and Sokka becomes Chief when Hakoda retires. Zuko reforms the FN government because monarchies suck and because he wants to be with his partners.

katara is the lost princess, baby sophia, who showed up on iroh’s door step when she was one. hakoda and kya are king reginald and queen isabella. lu ten, without katara’s knowledge, signs her up for the princess charm school lottery knowing it would be the only chance to get enough money for iroh’s chemotherapy.

katara wins and gets sent to the princess charm school where she meets headmaster kyoshi. she accidentally bumps into azula who is set to inherit the crown at the end of the year. ty lee is a much smarter version of portia, and mai is there too now.

katara meets her roomates, suki and toph, they all get along swimingly. toph loves music. since she’s blind, her hearing is heightened and she can express herself with it. suki is sporty; gymnastics, soccor and martial arts are her main focus.

dame devin is ursa, but she acts more like ozai. she staged the car crash that killed hakoda and kya. she didn’t know katara had survived. a passerby found her and set her on the doorstop of a tea shop.

kyoshi sees how much trouble katara is having in school and tutors her. nicholas is sokka and instead of a romantic relationship, what they have is strictly platonic and more sibling-like.

aang is a civilian hired by the beifong family, there’s a supblot that toph’s parents don’t approve of their relationship. it makes toph want to rebel and not become a princess at all; she doesnt mind that they might not get to coronation all that much.

azula sees that her mother wants to put so many people out of their homes and she starts doubting her. she tricks the guard into giving her the key and gives katara, suki and toph the blue prints. she stalls in everyway she can at the ccoronation.

toph, having really good hearing, listens to when ursa changes the code. they eventually get to the coronation, and katara makes a claim for the throne. in the scuffle azula catches the crown and instead of putting it on and becoming queen she gives it to katara, she also admits her crush. they both become queens and ursa goes to jail. her lady royal is smellerbee

also zukki supremacy, i guess zuko is just like a prince at prince academy. they meet at the coronation and bond over the fact there are so many pompous and pretentious people.

zuko: this is my girlfriend mai, and her girlfriend ty lee, and their girlfriend suki, and her boyfriend--

When Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation looks into his mirror an hour before his wedding, a turtleduck stares back at him. This is surprising, dear reader, because Prince Zuko had been a handsome 21 year old human only moments before, wearing the deep-red and embroidered gold finery that he's now swaddled in, getting ready for the worst day of his life. To truly understand the events that lead to Prince Zuko being turned into a cute, harmless, little animal, and all the events that follow, we must start our story nearly 100 years before the day of the intended wedding of Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation and Crown Prince Sokka of the Water Tribe. We must start at the beginning of the Great War, the day the Fire Nation attacked. The war was started by Zuko’s great-grandfather, the late Fire Lord Sozin, for the usual pathetic reasons that pathetic people begin wars - greed, jealousy and a completely unfounded belief of supremacy. The war lasted over 75 years, causing pain and suffering to people from all of the four nations, and the suppression of all forms of magic that were not Fire Nation approved. The worst affected by the war were the Air Nomads - a traveling group of magic users, renowned for their ability to break even the most stubborn of curses, who were all but wiped out by Sozin’s rule. Prince Zuko never personally knew the war, of course. He was born nearly a year after the death of his grandfather Azulon and the end of the Great War. Fire Lord Iroh, Zuko’s uncle and the Dragon of the West, ushered in an era of peace and reconciliation, inspired by his young son Prince Lu Ten and the work of two very persuasive sun dragons. Although the majority of the Fire Nation welcomed Iroh’s decision, there were those who remained loyal to Sozin and Azulon’s regime and would have rather seen Prince Ozai take the throne and the entire world colonised. Three months after Zuko's birth, halfway around the globe and far away from the whisperings of Ozai's supporters, Crown Prince Hakoda and Princess Kya of the Southern Water Tribe welcomed their own child into the world, a boy named Sokka, who was blessed with pure white hair, a gift from Tui herself. Fire Lord Iroh and Chieftess Kanna had celebrated the occasion by drawing up a peace treaty between the two nations, a peace treaty that would be completely fulfilled with the marriage of Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation and Prince Sokka of the Water Tribes upon the latter's 21st birthday. It was a well received proposal amongst the royal and common people of both nations but it had one unforeseeable and fatal flaw. Prince Sokka and Prince Zuko absolutely could not stand one another.
