i have never written for maizukki (or. uh. any other poly ship) before so hopefully this isn’t terrible skfjskdh

They’ve been planning this dinner for weeks now - a time when Bato and Hakoda can finally meet the people Sokka’s been talking so highly about. And Sokka has no reason to worry, really, but his hands are still shaking and he won’t turn down the reassuring cheek and forehead kisses from his partners.

When Bato and Hakoda arrive, they’re ecstatic to meet Sokka’s partners, and Zuko, Mai, and Suki are all instantly loved by Sokka’s dads.

maiko: ive said this before and i'll say it again - mai betraying azula for zuko at the boiling rock is the peak moment of the show. i refuse to hear a bad word about maiko. sure they aren't perfect but they are two damaged kids who love each other. i think they could grow into each other very well.

mailee: ultimate opposites in every way except they are the same in that they could both kill a man with no problem. imagining them interacting gives me all the serotonin and thinking about mai being the softest, most whipped girlfriend is just so wonderful

maisokka: another "if they're not dating they're besties'. I love them. let them bond over weapons and let them spend long hours in the library not talking, just reading and cuddling each other.

maizukki: like zukki but with mai. took something outstanding, made it even better.

sumailee: like mailee but also with suki. a wonderful dynamic. girls. geez mai how come you get two jock girlfriends? amazing.

maiyue: i just think it could be cute. rich, privileged girls learning to express themselves and stand up for themselves. i love it.

calendar girls: i dont know how old june is supposed to be, but just imagine the true goth4goth aesthetic that is mai and june. also their names match <3
