i don't get how people who only care about lol and overwatch characters ( and who obviously don't give a damn about the horrible shit blizzard and riot have done as companies) can even say that league has the superior characters. All characters in overwatch have such fun and diverse personalities while all human champs in lol are literal bad xerox copies after xerox copies of each other.
The only place where lol shines design-wise is with their monster champs, but their lores are either bland or make 0 fucking sense in the universe they created. I much prefer a game where they don't have any monster champ at all than one were they have too many and literally have 0 idea what to do with their lore, i mean it's like browsing through toyhouse shops. And in a way i sorta admire ow for making plain-ass human characters interesting and fun. Cause imo it's really hard to fuck-up with monster champs, so it's like a free bonus if you add them in your game a lot, you know?

Ah damn, yeah, that happens sometimes. The thing about competitive multiplayer is that for every winner, there has to be a loser.
Anyway here's some writings about the single player Path of Champions
Path of Champions - Dravid Version
Change 1: No progression. I went over this more in my "Path of Champions - Progressionless Edition" document, but tl;dr, the way the progression mechanics are done is bad for the gameplay experience, and progression serves little purpose otherwise. Thus, no champion level, no star powers*, and I'm removing legend level too. Certain things, like max nexus health and starting mana, can be altered by individual adventures if needed.
Change 2: No champion cards for the player. Champions cards do 2 things in Runeterra: They're stronger than the rest of your deck, and they reward you for playing a specific playstyle. The first is just a terrible idea; the amount of games I've lost solely because I didn't draw my champion are only outnumbered by the amount of games I've steamrolled because I DID draw my champion. The second is terrible for Path of Champions specifically, as a major aspect of the mode is improvising a strategy with the random cards and powers you find during the adventure. So, no champion cards for the player.
Change 3: No champion cards for the enemy. Champion cards for the enemy can reduce the game to "do you have removal?" It get especially infuriating when the opponent draws multiple copies of their champion. The purpose of randomness in card games is to create variety, not to screw you over for reasons outside your control.
Change 4: Champion playstyle design philosophy. Champions, both the cards and the playable characters, often mechanically encourage the player to do a certain thing, such as Annie rewarding you for playing lots of spells and skills. This conflicts with the "improvised strategy" aspect of Path of Champions, and should not be done. Some champions' playstyles give you certain tools, such as Gwen giving you lots of units with hallowed. These tools can be used for a variety of strategies, and work much better as playstyles. Champions' starting decks, card reward pools, and star powers will give the player versatile tools, rather than asking the player to use a specific strategy. This allows different playable champion to have a unique playstyle, while still allowing for improvised strategies.
Change 5: Star powers. Each playable champion will have one star power, not linked to any sort of progression mechanic. Just like the champion's cards, the star power will provide a versatile tool that doesn't push the player into a specific strategy. A good example is Mordekaiser's "Twice Slain", which lets the player grant Deathless to their units. A bad example is Mordekaiser's "Thrice Born", which rewards the player for reviving units. A good star power (and card pool) gives the player a tool to be used however they want. A bad star power rewards the player for doing something specific or playing specific kinds of cards.
Change 6: No support champions. The removal of champion cards leaves support champions quite bland and boring. Mixing up the champion's normal card pool with an additional card pool is good for creating variety between different adventures with the same champion, but I'm adding another thing to take on that role.
Change 7: Region card pools. Each (adventure) region will have a large card pool themed around its respective (mechanical) region; Ionia will have stuns, spells, elusive, etc. while Targon will have support, healing, invoke, etc. Most of the cards will be versatile tools, such as Mountain Goat, and there will be a handful of cards in each region that gently reward each of the regions's themes. Since the region is only half the card pool, these rewards have the be low in number and easily splashable into decks that only slightly use the theme.
Change 8: No decking out. When your deck is emptied, it fills back up to its original state. There's already ways to infinitely fill the deck, so the deck out rule serves no purpose. This also lets starting decks be smaller, allowing them to be quickly replaced by new cards.

Level Up Animations
The level up animations in Legends of Runeterra are boring, particularly the modern animations that cut away to a 3D scene to show the champion doing something. They're usually not very exciting or interesting; Yuumi jumps through a portal and then meows, Ilaoi gently swings a tentacle around, Bard flies through some portals and then blows his horn, etc.
The older level up animations were more low budget and didn't use 3D scenes. Sometimes they were pretty boring like Garen and Darius, but other times they made creative use of the card; Nautilus floods the screen with water and an anchor plunges into it, rising up to reveal the level 2 card; Jinx zooms across the field in an instant, writing her name in graffiti and flipping into the level 2 card. That kinda stuff is cool and creative, and doesn't try to make you forget that you're playing a card game. I want more level ups that are at least kinda creative, because the 3D scenes aren't cool.
YUUMI
The Book of Thresholds opens to reveal her level 1 card, then the page turns to a hand-drawn sketch of her card art. The pages start turning rapidly to play a flipbook animation of Yuumi jumping through a portal, finishing by revealing her level 2 card.
SAMIRA
Six targets appear, and Samira's card strikes each one in sequence with her weapons, building up her combo rank until she destroys the last one with a spinning slash, flipping her card around to the level 2 card.
GWEN
Gwen's card is covered by cloth, and her sewing tools work and cut the cloth into her outfit and pose it into the pose in her level 2 card art, then in a flash the cloth and outfit are gone and her level 2 card is revealed.
OR

Me playing Sims 4 with Lol Music Verse part 1
I made Heartsteel, KDA, Jinx, Caitlyn, Vi, Morgana and Miss Fortune, I will do more from time to time
Them I created a Sim for myself
I met Heartsteel in the geek event
Alune became my best friend and she's amazing, just after her was Ezreal
Lune had a fight with the band and stayed some days in my house
For some goddan reason Ez came as well but not as a guest, he just stayed there for days
Alune was sad because she misses Phel, I called him and them she got back home
Ezreal tried to flirt a lot with me but I wanted to date Phel
After some shenanigans me and Phel where dating, but during a conversation Alune flirted with Me for some reason and Phel saw it
It was a mess
Then whe got married, I swear I will never do weddings again, they're horrible to make
Aphelios married wearing a beach shirt and shorts...
Yone was the one who hold the wedding and he was really sad
Just got home from the weeding Yone calls me to say he like me, but I tell him to be just friends
Them Alune flirts with me out of nowhere AGAIN, after I tell her to be just friends
Phel saw it
Now he's jealous and possessive
I was talking with K'Sante and Phel's gone insane
Sett hates me since the beginning and he keeps sending mean messages to me it's really annoying
Miss just keep doing chaos around the neighborhood
Alune adopted Yuumi and she destroys the house
Now Phel doesn't get away from me and if he gets he goes crazy, I can't deny O find it very hot tho
Ezreal keeps coming to my house out of nowhere and where I go he follows
It's almost like I am in a Yandere fanfic lol
For some reason when we go out everyone except my SIM get the bag hat, I want one too!!

yuumi is seen standing in front of the mirror, dyeing her own hair blue. the scene clips to her hanging out with her now estatic friends with her new hair color.
the next instant, she’s in front of the mirror again, doing the same thing — except it’s of a different color now. she looked mildly saddened but it quickly changes in the next clip, into pure disbelief as she stands in front of her friends.
“If it means to follow and adjust myself to your words, then I’ll do it — you mean the best for me, right…?”

yuumi extends her hands with a soft smile, victim takes it with the same smile while tears run down her face.

victim : a classmate. female, 17 years old and is well known to be close to yuumi sato and three other classmates.
description : victim’s face clawed and sliced out by nails sharp blades of the culprit, which makes face fully bloodied and unrecognizable. patches of hair forcefully pulled out and also snipped off, only able to be identified via connections with other students. actions looked as if it was done in a fit of rage.
there has also been shown that the victim had ingested makeup and makeup brushes.

Fun fact abt my ocs: Reiko is actually an old oc i had back when i was 10 and her full name was Reiko Imori. I changed her character a lot since then and i first came up w her as a danganronpa fan oc. There were other characters w her but i scrapped those ones a while ago. Oh but there was another character that was supposed to be her best friend for my very early concepts, i scrapped her like the others but looking back, Aimi is actually a bit similar in character to that girl. I didnt mean for that to happen tho

I feel like ranting so allow me to tell you about how Heroes of the Storm could've been great.
If you've never heard of it, HotS was Blizzard's MOBA released around 2015 iirc. Fuck Blizzard obviously, but this game is dead so I can talk about it
This game had so many great ideas and I'm so mad we'll probably never see them again, but to summarize: it had the perfect pitch for a casual-oriented MOBA, and Blizzard fucked it by trying to make it competitive (sound familiar, Overwatch players?)
Short 15-20 minute games, low skill floor due to no last hitting minions, a focus on team play and team fights with shared XP across the whole team and events that would force fights to happen, a BUNCH of different maps to make every game feel different (hello League), the game had a lot of spectacle built-in too
And my god the character design in that game was good. 95% of the cast came from Blizzard IPs but they almost all felt like they brought something new and cool that pushed what you could do in a MOBA.
Abathur was Yuumi but with global presence, Teemo mushrooms and infinitely spawning minions to push the lane and get XP. Cho'Gall was a two-headed giant which needed two players to play, for six spells and two ultimates on one body. Murky was an annoying as fuck fighter-assassin with the least HP in the game but who gave only 25% XP when it died and respawned in 8 seconds directly onto the lane. Stitches was a character with two hooks, one for allies and one for enemies, who could also eat enemies like Tahm Kench. There were two whole characters who were fully invisible outside of combat. They put a STARCRAFT PROBE as a playable character and it was super fun to play.
Did I mention this game didn't have items but instead had character-specific skill trees and that every character had two different ultimates? That there were mounts to make travel between lanes faster, and that the characters without mounts had teleports instead? That there was no set jungler and all jungle camps were mercenaries that would help you push Herald-style after you beat them?
Also you could try out any character and any skin in a shop training mode. That was sexy
