          yohan wasn’t too excited for the image workshops, mainly because he felt like everyone would be eyeing him considering he was part of the reason everyone was in this position right now. so when he stepped into the room and initially went to take a seat further in the back, he paused in his steps and reconsidered for a moment. he had to prove he deserved to be here, and he wanted nothing more than to stay, to prove himself and show what he had to offer. so was sitting in the back after everything the best idea? he didn’t want to seem like he didn’t care, because he did, even if he was still feeling beaten down by it all. so with a deep breath, he moves further to the front, taking a seat in the first row (because then, at least he didn’t have to really look at anyone just in case they gave him a look that made him want to sink into the chair).

          truth be told, it wasn’t too bad, he thought it was going to be worse and he would feel like a lot of it would be directed at him, but he soon realised that it was catered for everyone, so he felt way more at ease. the exercise actually were insightful, and he could definitely say he would walk away with better knowledge on how to handle situations and what to do in them, and how to be more careful. which was the one thing he had to be certain of now, and for a while. he didn’t want to do anything that could get him kicked out of legacy, so making sure to be careful was the biggest thing he wanted to learn.

          beside him was yuuki, who he knew spoke japanese, and yohan was glad he could speak a little bit of japanese too, so at least he would converse with him in both languages. he remembers the first time he was learning japanese and how tricky a new language was, and still is. he didn’t quite know how to start the whole conversation without making it too obvious he was talking about his own experiences, but he feels like no matter how, people would probably put two and two together. “one thing i’ve learned, is to be cautious and considerate. some situations can land you in hot water, so lately i’ve learned to be more careful of how i interact with people and where, i didn’t realise things like that would have a big impact..” yohan says in a mix of japanese and korean, to the best of his ability as he looks at yuuki, wondering if he understood it all. “did that make sense?” he asks in japanese, a soft, light chuckle following after.

Jamil x Yuridia/Yuuki

He's a servant. She's an idol. He is treated as nothing. She is treated as everything. He is a "street rat". She is a "princess". The outer shell of their situations are different, but the inner circumstances are too similar. They are expected to act subservient and be less than who they really are, all the while are expected to meet up the overly demanding expectations that are required from their jobs. In the end they are two teenagers that were willing to become subservient for their family's sake, but in the end truly desire freedom from the line of work that has kept them caged. Despite everything going against them, they are both willing to do whatever it takes to make things work. Yuri's sensitive side helps tame Jamil's more logical side, and vice versa. They help to bring each other out of their shells, as well to keep each other grounded. They both believe in hard work and will respect each other's professional lives. It's an equal thing in this relationship, where no matter the status each are in they will see each other in equal footing.

(You all can thank Azu's Scarabia propaganda for this ship, cause snake boy wasn't my first choice to ship Yuri with. It was Riddle and Azul, if you were wondering. Also! That one scene from Prince of Egypt where Zephora is trying to get Moses to dance and he’s tries to deny it, but she gets him to dance with her regardless? Yeah, that’s ParrotParents. Plus that dance scene in Avatar with Aang and Katara, but this time it’s Jamil showing off.))

Scenario: Ball

She had sneaked out of the ball to have a break from chaperoning. Leaning onto a wall of a corridor, and sliding down to the floor. Exhausted, just absolutely exhausted from the haughty guests. When she was told about the ball she was excited to have a chance to dance, until her boss spoke of her duty as chaperone. No dancing for her. She swears that crow just wanted to keep her from having fun. Before she could think more of her predicament, a squabble is heard from the end of the hall. A familiar voice.

The boy he was talking to decided to push him onto her, immediately rushing out of the corridor.

He looks at her and she is at him. They both looked so tired.

He leads her to a balcony, watching the stars have always calmed her. But even with the calming night sky, the nerves didn’t settle. they have been keeping in touch through text, it has been a while since they talked to each other in person. He looked so beautiful, as always, with the moonlight reflecting his eyes. Shining bright with such splendor. Shimmering their way into her mind. How beautiful, she hoped he thought the same about her.
