Grace has the "Dirty Girl" fantasy and knows how to hide a body because of her time at Camp Idontwannabang.

HEAR ME OUT.

I can't remember if this is something from abstinence camp or just a headcanon I have, but I feel like Grace has been to abstinence camp for more years than one, or that it's some sort of summer camp you can be a regular at.

Therefore, in the NPMD timeline, Grace knows how to bury a body because she walked in on Girl Jeri, Boy Jerry, and a corpse or two just like in Abstinence Camp, and they had her help them get rid of said corpse(s). And, maybe when she walked in, Jeri and Jerry were having one of their weird-repressed-sexual-tension moments, involving Jerry calling Jeri "dirty girl" like he did in Abstinence Camp. And Grace, knowing nothing about sex or what's sexy, absorbs that like a sponge and resurfaces it later in NPMD when she feels the same tension Jeri and Jerry had.

Soot fact! Sooty actually has the 'sooty' gene, though she doesn't have super high expression. The sooty gene causes a slight gradient on her beak and the dark freckles on her coverts

there's this baby kitty in my neighborhood whose tail has been injured and as far as we know doesn't have any owners. we finally got her trusting enough to come up on the front porch and sleep, but the rush of power at being on higher ground must have gone to her head cuz she has since completely ignored us for 3 days while she stalks her terrorizer so hard he waits at her feet in fear of her weirdness. well i think the bout of ghosting us when we call for food time might be over cuz this morning there was a bird next to the front mat and she was screaming for sustenance. the thing is, earlier in the morning she was out there yelling but we didn't have time to feed her then. and we only saw the bird when we came back about an hour later so. either it was already there and we missed it or she said 'oh no food? i can trade u want trade? we share?' and ran to go find an offering. but also the bird she brought isn't one we really get at our feeders so this skinny little paperweight of a cat ran a fair distance somewhere and carried this bird that's the size of her head, if not bigger, back uphill, upstairs, through a patio gate, and gently lined it up next to the mat. not even on the mat. it was perfectly parallel but out of the way of where we walk. i maybe should have been more horrified than i was but frankly i've been missing her and i am flattered by the sentiment.

also, the kids found a nest with a dead bird on the ground today, and they started yelling abt it n drawing all the other kids over, so i had to actually switch into the Authority Figure Voice(tm) with them so that they wouldn’t like. literally desecrate its body by kicking it around for funsies

#in general i'm just not really all that keen on using Authority Voice on children or people in general #probably bc growing up i got told a lot that i can sound really scary! actually scratch that during argumentative speeches #my prof was like 'i didn't wanna stop you outright bc it felt like you were going to snap at n kill me if i did' n i was like #'oh my god i'm so sorry no feel free to stop me whenever; it's just acting' so even Very Recently i have been told i have frightening energy #but i think mostly i don't like using it on kids bc. well. yeah i feel like it'll make them scared of me n i don't want that #like they're children. i'm not going to kill them. i'm not going to skin them alive. i hardly give punishments in general #but they're old enough to associate Authority Voice with massive trouble. like i can feel it in my bones too when i use it n i don't like it #it makes me feel like the kind of adult i'd have hated n resented the most growing up n it just makes me feel kinda ick #but at the same time it has its uses! like if it was just one to... mm i'd say like three or five kids i'd be cool w/just like #backing them up n then talking to them abt safety precautions when handling dead bodies but otherwise letting them get sticks n poke at it #but there were like five there at the start n then like five more were coming over so i was like. 'mm. cutting this short rn'#esp when one kid started kicking at the body w/o an ounce of reverence. like dude wtf why are you punting bird corpses around #but yeah i can't blame them for their curiosity; n i don't want to teach them that death is scary or dirty or anything #but wild animals can carry diseases and these kids are less than ten years old. i've seen how they handle things. they have no grace #anyway. yeah. long day at work today.#the worm speaks
