Heartsteel! Members suddenly have to take care of a child; Headcanons (Gender neutral and in an imaginary world where police is THAT useless. I like to think it isn't)

How they found you and how they reacted :

Kayn:

- He was literally minding his own business

- You ran up to him because of his pink eye and pink hair.

- Just straight up grabbing his left leg and not letting go, like a little menace.

- He tried to shake you off

- Almost fell face first into a wall while jumping around with his free leg.

- The little tic (You) had the grip of a true warrior.

- You bit him in his calf.

- Didn't hurt him that much. Instead it spooked him because he didn't expect a small child to have such sharp teeth. He hit his face on a pole on the sidewalk.

- What are you, a vampire? You little menace.

- You didn't know what menace meant, but vampire sounded cool. You pretended to be a vampire from this moment on, trying to bite him.

- At some point he finally got you off his leg and carried you under his arm like a bag.

- Wha- THE FU--

- Yes, you bit his arm

- Dude was so confused that he didn't even call the police

- Instead he took you home so Yone can take care of you.

Yone:

- Was grocery shopping, rolling his cart and checking the list if he needed anything

- Suddenly there was you, running around with a mini shopping cart.

- Totally proud of yourself. You were acting like an adult and you liked it (Because rolling the cart is fun).

- At some point you got lost from your family and then you saw Yone.

- It's not everyday you see someone in a zebra (in your child words. It wasn't a zebra print) shirt print.

- Like the young and cultured child you were, you asked if he saw your parents.

- The mom of the group tried to find your parents.

- Failed.

- The police wasn't really much help either. No one reported you missing.

- They (Police) were trying to take you but you cried so much because you didn't want to be separated from the gentle giant.

- One thing led to another and the police have his number and they will call him if they have any information.

- Brought you a pair of clothes so you have a change of clothes for later.

- Everyone was surprised when Yone didn't return with groceries and instead with a child.

K'sante:

- Was walking out of the gym and through a park

- Instantly noticed that you were alone on the playground.

- Checks for anyone in the vicinity of the park.

- The nearest residential area was a long way from the park.

- Walks up to you, crouches and greets you.

- Another gentle giant. But more energetic.

- Your sibling left you here as a prank to scare you.

- Parents gone on a trip.

- Cue inner anger at your sibling.

- Takes you to an ice cream shop. Buys you your favorite. With extra whipped cream/fruit.

- Contemplates his next options.

- Decides to take you home since it was getting dark, left his number at the police station and let them know the situation.

- Let's Yone know. Yone buys you a few things.

- Shows you his big armadillo plushie.

- The rest doesn't know that you are there yet (minis Yone)

Aphelios:

- Yes, he was in a store.

- Yes, they sold plushies.

- Yes, he bought a plushie gun and he was buying ammo.

- It's all for a prank I swear.

- You were hiding under one of the tables.

- Initially didn't care for you. Was sure your parents were nearby.

- They were not.

- Walks with you hand in hand, slow peace isn't a problem for him

- Thinks how you follow after him with your steps is cute.

- Calls his sister for help. She is completely serious and comes to you guys.

- She falls instantly in love with how cute and precious, scoops you up in her arms and carries you around.

- Aphelios kinda regrets not picking you up sooner.

- They go to the police station and they do nothing.

- Time to let Yone know what was happening...

- Since you were cute and you made his sister happy, he was quite happy himself to join his sister to buy cute things for you.

Ezreal:

- Was buying himself boba in a mall.

- And a new phone charger.

- His last one got destroyed by a mistake by Aphelios' prank.

- Saw you in the cutest, silliest outfit.

- Dude loves cute things almost as much as Aphelios.

- But you were alone. Like sitting in the corner alone and looking at people.

- You noticed him.

- Big pant look cool.

- Cue you running up to him and asking all about his pants, not understanding why it had so many unnecessary accessories.

- He discovers you were left alone by your sibling (again).

- You've been in the mall since the early morning. It was almost evening now.

- Goes to the police. Police is useless.

- Carries you around on his shoulders. Your laugh is precious and so is your happiness.

- His (not biological) little sibling! His little angel!

- He swore to protect you until the end.

- Gave you his boba since you were thirsty.

- MMm boba balls. They pop. It's cool as frick.

Sett:

- Was totally practicing basketball

- Found you alone. No one around.

- You asked about his ears. Reminded you of a dog.

- You love dogs.

- So does he.

- Instant connection.

- Calls his Mama for help.

- She is far away now but tells him to get you something to drink and eat and then take you to the police.

- Does as told.

- Buys you something to drink.

- Buys you dino nuggets.

- You both love them.

- Hols your hand and walks with you.

- Gives up when his back eventually starts hurting from bending so much and walking so slowly.

- Police is useless.

- Comes home and notifies Yone so he can take care of it.

- Feeds you more dino nuggets and sugar, while Yone does all the work.

heartsteel Christmas music head canons

some of you guys might know that I m from a family thats... a lot into music, and since I m visiting them for the holidays they definitely inspired some heartsteel headcanons xD

Yone, giving Aphelios a new instrument for Christmas and Phil playing it 24/7 until Kayn starts throwing paper balls at him, Ezreal is about to cry from overstimulation and K'Sante threatens to carry him outside if he wont stop </3

Aphelios and Ezreal forcing everyone to play Christmas songs together, Yone octaves down a part thats written in treble clef to play a song for two recorders (aphelios) and piano (ez) on the cello

Kayn just sitting in the corner and laughing his ass off (he can ofc not play piano when ez plays it already, and the guitar and bass just doesnt work for classical Christmas songs!)

Sett gets a triangle bc he is the only one who doesnt play another instrument

K'Sante playing the saxophone and being too loud for Aphelion's recorder :c and starting to almost cry because the recorder, cello and piano are in c while he is stuck with a shit ton of #'s and ß's

Kayn suddenly being forced to play the piano bc ezreal wants to try out the recorder with aphelios and they need the piano, but playing with 0 practice is hard. thank god kayn knows the piano well enough...

but k'sante just stopped trying and simply improvises, he isnt playing the melody anyway so why not simply hold the #e for half the song?

modern au stuffs…more info under cut

full “bios”:

yasuo:

yasuo grew up in a small mountain village alongside his brother, yone. parentless and illegitiamate, he was treated poorly by other children, and was consequently never able to connect with others very well. he grew up quite lonely despite being very gifted, and his feelings weren’t helped by yone, who continuously pushed him to do better at academics and athletics where he attended school about an hour from their home; this made him feel extremely pressured and lonely throughout his childhood, causing him to act out.

he oftentimes did physical labor around the house; among other things, he took care of their house’s piping system. when he was seventeen he failed to notice a gas leak due to being out of the house after a fight with yone, which caused an explosion that destroyed most of their small home and killed their foster grandfather souma. plagued by guilt and shame, yasuo away from home and didn’t speak to yone for several years.

he’s struggling with having yone around again and is uncomfortable with having him in his home, but he feels too guilty to push him away. alongside being much more mild-mannered in recent times, he has period periods of intense, deep depression that debilitate his ability to function; these were alleviated, however, once he met ahri, who he loves deeply but doesn’t feel adequate for.

ahri:

ahri’s fun, flirty personality masks deep feelings of insecurity and loneliness; an abandoned child who was ostracized for being both asian and a vastaya, she struggled with substance abuse and an eating disorder later on in life. she’s only had one real boyfriend, who died in a car accident that she feels responsible for, as she was driving him home from work late at night intoxicated, unbeknownst to him. all of this means she has found it nigh on impossible to form bonds with others, either.

yasuo was one of the first real friends she’d ever made; he genuinely makes her feel loved, which is why she feels so sad when she sees her own destructive tendencies reflected in him. she’s immensely grateful for the happiness and community—in the form of their mutual friends sarah, illaoi, braum, and pyke—he’s brought into her life.

in her spare time, she’s attempting to track down her birth parents in order to receive some closure on her family status.

yone:

yone was seven when yasuo was born and their mother passed away. though their foster grandfather souma had loved them deeply, he was too old to do much for their small family; thus, yone started working at an early age to provide for himself and yasuo, after having taken care of the house for several years prior to then. the circumstances he’s faced and sacrifices he’s had to make—as well as his general feelings of inadequacy stemming from never having finished school and, in that regard, feeling inferior to yasuo—led him to develop high expectations for his brother, who was their only hope for getting a secondary education and out of poverty. yone adored yasuo and only wanted to push him to do his best, but had a difficult time expressing that well; as a result, he failed to notice the pressure he put and borderline abuse he inflicted on yasuo, and was always confused as to why he was so irritable and lashed out so often. yasuo acting up only led yone to be harder on him, which made their relationship worse. yone was heartbroken when yasuo left, as he saw himself a failure given that he believed that the accident had been intentional on yasuo’s part. he’d never laid a hand on yasuo until earlier that day, when an argument about yasuo’s behavior had turned physical. if he had done things differently, he believes the situation could have been avoided.

yone was able to move away from the village when he no longer had two others to care for, and eventually got an associate’s degree from a community college. however, a massive stroke of bad luck—in which he got fired in downsizing and his apartment burned down—meant he was forced to move in with yasuo and ahri as he didn’t have anywhere else to go. the situation is quite awkward, and yone isn’t quite sure how to start repairing the damage that’s been done.

taliyah:

taliyah is yasuo and ahri’s upstairs neighbor, though she only met ahri after the two of them moved in together. like the two of them, she feels a deep disconnect from her peers and doesn’t quite feel understood by anyone, especially due to the fact that she’s a trans girl. she feels very well taken care of by yasuo, though, who she sees as an older brother. she’s quite anxious about going off to college and has an irrational fear of yasuo not caring about her anymore when she leaves, given that she relies on him quite a bit, and especially due to the fact that he’s mentioned he’s considering proposing to ahri.

general stuff:

i imagine this whole au as a comic or a cartoon

everyone is about six or seven years younger (besides ahri) than i think they are in canon since i wanted taliyah to be a teenager. thus, their ages are those of when taliyah was still yasuo’s apprentice; in canon i think that she is about 23, he is about 30, and so on.

i’m not really sure where this takes place? i wanna say wherever bilgewater is based on given that that was where the rk gang all met, so maybe honolulu/hawai’i’s big island due to the polynesian influences present in the buhru people’s culture. as for time, this is probably the mid-late 00s/early 2010s. yone found yasuo through social media.

yone is fully japanese, while yasuo is mixed japanese and pakistani. ahri is korean. taliyah is egyptian and sunni muslim, but not hijabi.

like in canon, yasuo got the scar on his nose from the final fight he had with yone. it’s also permanently crooked from breaking his nose in that same altercation. yone’s two are from then as well.

though vastaya have some spiritual power and live slightly longer than humans (about 100-130 years), their lifespan and abilities are not nearly as vast as they are in runeterra. like in canon, though, ahri is proportionately about the same age as yasuo.

yasuo and ahri met while yasuo was working at a grocery store.

yone and ahri got off on bad terms when he, subconsciously retaining prejudice from his traditional upbringing, mistakenly believed she was yasuo’s housemaid due to her being a vastaya. she was incredibly offended, almost kicked him out, and refused to speak to him for several weeks. eventually they make up and get along alright, but that’s only really because she made an effort for yasuo’s sake. otherwise, she probably wouldn’t have talked to him ever again.

i think i’ll put riven in this at some point, but she’s still tied to the accident that kills souma. souma kept some small cultural artifacts in his home, which riven was tasked with stealing by the small criminal group she grew up in: she snuck in through the basement, but was caught stealing by souma and forced to leave without her prize; in her haste, she damaged a pipe near where she’d come in and left. she didn’t find out about the incident until much layer and feels horrifically guilty about it, especially because yasuo’s reputation was ruined after it happened (even if he was never convicted of anything).

a lot of other characters are connected to these four. besides the ruined king group, who are friends with yasuo and ahri, a lot are interconnected. some examples are:

sarah knows t.f. (tobias felix) and graves from work. graves is friends with vayne, who tobias is jealous of, and tobias dances on the weekends with evelynn, who graves is jealous of. it’s a whole thing. they live together and work together, but aren’t dating. yet. graves also knows the sentinels of light. vayne and sarah have like. a weird lesbian thing going on. and that is pure self-indulgence

yone’s only friend is lillia, who he also met at work. she’s incredibly skittish and shy, but their friendship is rooted in the fact that neither of them talks very much. i imagine her having deer legs, but not being a centaur like she is on runeterra.

taliyah is friends with ezreal, lux, and ekko, the latter of whom she has a crush on. ekko knows rell, who knows seraphine, who knows ezreal. they’re all one big yet loose friend group. she’s also close with kai’sa, who student teaches for one of her classes.

usan is yasuo’s ex-boyfriend and i could totally imagine them bumping into each other being a running gag. zed obviously knows shen and kayn, who know akali. akali and kayn are 19 in canon, so they would be pretty young. probably like. fuckass 13 yr olds

Heartsteel Ranking: “Scary boyfriend privilege”

(AKA how intimidating they are to people who don’t know them.)

Inspiration: I’ll be honest this is a bit of a random ranking but I thought it would be fun to do and it was!

Champions: Heartsteel

Genre: Ranking

Type: Fluff? This is meant in a funny way.

Tw: Small mention of alcohol (drink responsibly y’all), and swearing (because I do, in fact, have the mouth of a damn sailor.)

List goes least intimidating to most intimidating.

LEAST

Ezreal (One of these days I will do a ranking that doesn’t put him at the bottom! I swear it’s not intentional! 😂)

Let’s be honest no one is shocked he’s here, right? Where else was Ez going to go on this list?? This isn’t a bad thing though! He just gives off such golden retriever energy and it’s amazing and I love him. I want to be at least best friends with HS Ezreal.

Despite the usual happy golden retriever energy, he’s definitely not afraid to tell people off/protect you though. (I feel like he secretly has quite a temper. He’s a Sagittarius after all [love my fellow 🔥 signs WOOT WOOT]. Usually he’s very good about keeping it under control…but if someone [besides you, he absolutely adores you] pushes him too far [ex: by making you uncomfortable]…just see what happens.)

Aphelios

You absolutely have scary boyfriend privilege with Aphelios, but I just can’t rank him higher than any of the other members below. He definitely has that “brooding silent type” down pat, and when he’s wearing his mask, that’s doubled. That air of mystery, baby, he’s got that in SPADES.

We also know he’s tall. Like not Sett, K’Sante, or Yone tall, but he’s got some height on him (unconfirmed 6’). Physically, he’s definitely more intimidating than Ez. Like imagine Phel silently staring daggers at someone. Lmao I’d hate to be whoever pissed him off.

K’Sante

Most of this comes from his height (unconfirmed 6’4”) and the fact he’s one of the gym bros. Like general vibe/personality-wise, I think Phel could be more-intimidating than K’Sante (or even Sett), but have you seen how just MASSIVE K’Sante is? HE CAN CANONICALLY BENCH SETT. Like 😮😮😮

Not to mention I feel like he’d always stick close to you in public, so no one would even dream of trying to do anything to you. (Unless they’re a whole dumbass.) K’Sante genuinely gives me very kind vibes, but he definitely protects those he loves very fiercely.

Sett

Sett is (unconfirmed) 6’7” (at least confirmed the tallest in the group), and JACKED AS HELL. Not to mention “allergic” to sleeves so those arms are out most of the time lmao. Only a fucking moron (or someone who is incredibly drunk) would look at Settrigh and go “oh yeah I am absolutely going to mess with this guy.” RIP that idiot.

He also doesn’t fuck around about the safety of the people he loves. Sett genuinely seems like the sweetest guy (I love this giant, ripped, sewing himbo so fucking much oh my fucking god) but he can/will be intentionally intimidating if it’s necessary to keep you or Ma safe (the two most important figures in his life 🥺). Will walk you home/keep you close to him in crowded situations. He always wants you to feel safe when you’re with him (you absolutely do like how could you not?).

Kayn

So this is based on both appearance and reputation. Obviously Kayn has quite the reputation from his last band (as well as being kicked out of it.) Appearance-wise, he’s not super tall, but he’s tall enough. Not to mention the piercings, tattoos, the fact he’s also in excellent shape (I mean we all saw those abs 😏), has vibrant dyed hair, a very bright red eye, and he is a total metal head. He can also, um, travel through WALLS. (Small detail lol.)

DO I EVEN HAVE TO MENTION RHAAST (even as his stage alter ego)???? Kayn can be pretty impulsive and sometimes acts first, thinks later. (He’s currently working on that with Yone, it’s fine.) Someone would be a damn fool to fuck with him or you. He just gives me very loyal guard dog vibes. (I mean he did wear the damn leash in the mv so….😝)

Yone

There is no one (let me repeat: NO ONE) I’d want to fuck with less than Yone. This man has quintessential resting bitch face (RBF), is like 6’ 2-3” (unconfirmed), in very good shaped (based on the lovely titty window of his outfit. Thank you, Riot designers) and is able to (mostly) wrangle the rest of the group. Also (hella obvious but) HE’S AN INTROVERT (INFJ specifically). People are NOT his thing (fucking MOOD).

Yone is the one who gives the most similar vibes to the TikToks I’ve seen that show cosplayers at Cons with their scarier-dressed friends/partners following behind them keeping them safe. (For Yone, it’s the RBF/air of mystery that really sets the tone.) He gives me such mature gentleman vibes as well. He’s always going to walk you home especially at night, or he’ll stay by your side in a crowd and you are just going to feel really safe with him. Top-tier scary boyfriend privilege right there.

Most

SETT

Sett's most sensitive spot is his ears. They're dreamy soft, like velvet but thicker, and oh-so-warm. When you play with them he goes weak in the knees, tilting his head towards your gentle hands and letting out a low groan. He adores when you play with them. If he plops his head in your lap and looks up at you with pleading puppy-dog eyes, chances are an ear-rub is what he's begging for.

After Sett smashes out a great lifting session, he usually sends you a mirror selfie. He just wants to tell you he had a great workout, and he loves when you encourage him, so it's mostly innocent. But come on...he's shining with sweat, his muscles look fucking huge, and he's got that flushed-cheek, out of breath smile. How are you not supposed to ogle him a little bit? If you accuse him of trying to turn you on with his gym selfies he goes 'no wayyyyyy'. The next picture he says—one of him winking at you, with the hem of his shirt pulled tight between his sharp teeth and his glorious abs on display—says otherwise.

Sett's social media pages consist of basically two things: gymbro shit and cute animal videos. He spams you with the latter. Expect lots of pictures of housecats cuddling ("us", he captions) and videos of dogs doing tricks ("do u think we could teach earnest that??" Probably not, you tell him, but you find him on the kitchen floor the next morning trying to get the poor dog to do a flip anyway).

Sett is all for pet-names, and rarely calls you by your given name. He goes with the classic "babe" a lot. Sometimes he likes to spice it up by sprinkling in nicknames like "hot stuff" or "sweets". If he's being cheeky, he'll give you a teasing smirk and call you his "favorite groupie".

Sett loves staying active (obviously) and he's always down to try something new. If you're for hurting date ideas, take him rollerskating, rock climbing, or swimming. And, if you're really brave? Ask him and the rest of the Heartsteel guys to go paint-balling with you. Bless his heart, he will try so hard to protect you and hyper-carry your team but his aim just isn't that good. (Predictably, Sett ends up covered in paint-splashes. He's nothing if not a good meat shield.)

For your first Christmas together, Sett's mom knits you a beanie to match his. "Oh, you two are adorable," she beams as her son excitedly tugs the warm hat over your ears. Once you've earned the beanie, trust that you've got Mama's approval on lock.

Anyone that wrongs you is on Sett's shit-list for life. He's a hothead and he knows how to hold a fucking grudge. If you complain about your boss or come to him teary-eyed because a friend blew off plans, he's fuming. "That fucking asshole," he snarls. Of course, he sets aside his fury to comfort you. Just know that a lifelong beef has been started and he's going to scowl every time you bring that person's name up again.

After a hard workout, Sett loves to tease you by pulling you in for a sweaty bear-hug. Don't worry, though—he's always down to hit the showers with you right after.

Sett knows his way around the human body—he's got a near medical knowledge of muscle groups, nerves, and effective stretches just from his time in the gym. What does this mean for you, though? The best fucking massages in the entire universe. The moment you complain about a kink in your neck or a sore back Sett's cracking his knuckles. "Okay, hot stuff," he says, placing his gentle hands on your tight muscles. "Where exactly does it hurt?" Of course, you don't need to be in pain to get a massage—Sett's eager to touch you any chance he can get. Pout a little and ask if he can pretty please rub your neck, and his hands are on you before you can finish your sentence.

Since he's a cuddle-bug and serial napper, plan on spending a fair amount of time snuggled up in Sett's bed. He keeps sweatpants in his closet for you so you can be comfy during cuddle-seshes. Honestly, though, he prefers if you skip the pants altogether and chill out in your underwear and one of his old t-shirts. He tends to take a fabric scissors to any of his shirts with sleeves—your favorite sleep shirt, though? He mercifully leaves that one alone.

Sett's a massive show-off. Anytime you're on your tippy-toes trying to reach the top shelf or you're struggling with the pickle jar, Sett swoops in with an "Oh, lemme get that for ya!" And if he's flexing extra hard opening the jar or stretching his arms so that just the teeeeeeeniest bit of his shirt slips up, exposing his six-pack...well. You might as well enjoy the show, right?

Even though he wears lifting gloves, Sett's hands get chapped and calloused, anyway. He constantly steals your lotion. If you catch him swiping it out of your bag his ears go back and he offers you a sheepish, "sorry, hon...", but does he stop? No chance. He pops the top and slathers it on his hands, anyway. "Whaaaaaat?" he whines as you stare him down. "If I'm all rough and whatever you'll stop holding hands with me."

You and Sett have a frankly obscene amount of plushies. There's an endless sea of plush on your bed, plus a good handful on his, but he just. keeps. buying. more. You'd complain, since it makes finding a comfy position to sleep a battle sometimes, but come on... how can you say no to a sugarcone furyhorn? Fucking impossible.

Sett's favorite way to pull you closer is by your belt loops. He hooks his fingers through and gives your hips a light tug, loving the surprised squeak you give when you bump into his massive frame.

Sett has a metal water bottle with him at all times (gotta stay hydrated)! Even though he rolls his eyes when you paste cute stickers on it, you notice that he never peels them off.

❥ prompt: Let's face it. You and Ezreal hardly have time for anything with your busy idol lives. Unfortunately, things get a bit messy after you first meet. Luckily, both of you share a secret hobby nobody knows about. And boy, does it come in handy. ❥ content/warnings: ecchi, drama bomb, forbidden romance ❥ characters/pairings: Heartsteel!ezreal x idol!f!reader , Heartsteel gang an: omggg tysvm anon! honestly, im so sorry but looks like your ask is getting a part two lmfao! guess i went overboard with my idea, and so, your actual req. will be fulfilled in the next part. i also blame all american rejects for my non-original title. thanks for understanding.

No one knew about Ezreal's secret hobby. When anyone asked where he was going with a black gym duffle bag, he gave everyone the same answer. "J-Just heading to the main studio to warm-up before you guys get there. Nothing else." Little did they know, that's not where he was going. Instead, he was heading to a photoshoot. A very specific kind: a cosplay photoshoot.

I mean, who wouldn't want to dress up as their favorite anime/manga character, superhero, or original fantasy creation? Even better, who wouldn't want to be photographed while doing it? Ezreal felt he could be anyone and anything. Adored with attention in more ways than one. Best part was, with so many cosplays to shift through, no one ever knew it was him. Except you did.

And that all happened because you went to that same photoshoot. It was a group event held in a public park, surrounded by retail shops. It was perfect for both slice of slice or nature-esque shots. It was by coincidence your character and Ezreal's character were canon together in the anime lore you were cosplaying. Which sparked you two being asked to pose romantically with one another, and pretend to be going in for a kiss.

You gave your consent and Ezreal tipped your chin up, his face mere inches away from yours. You squinted your eyes against his features and whispered. "You look kind of familiar." As if you had seen him walking around your workplace just the other day. Maybe somewhere else you frequented? You couldn't quite place a finger on it. Ezreal couldn't shake off the feeling either. He tilted your face another way for a different angle. He laughed nervously, whispering back. "That's funny. I'm pretty sure this is the first time we've met. Maybe we're at the same cosplay shoots a lot. And now we've just noticed each other."

You accepted the rational. Either way, you didn't want to press it, in case he flipped the coin around and started asking you personal questions. Cosplay and anonymity were one in the same for certain individuals—especially in your case.

After a couple more pictures, you parted ways. Ezreal felt his phone buzz. He checked his messages:

[Yone:] Where are you? You're late. I believe you said earlier you would be here before us to 'get in some extra practice'. [Yone:] Care to explain?

OH CRAP! Ezreal didn't realize how late the hour was. He'd been so distracted, he forgot to set his reminder. And now he was officially going to be late— or, well, late-er. Sweating bullets, Ezreal quickly let his fingers type:

[Ezreal:] i'm there! just in the bathroom. might be a while. lunch is kicking my butt. 😳🚽💩💩💩

[Yone:] Thank you for the TMI. Hurry up then.

Ezreal wiped at his brow. He was running on borrowed time. Yone was sure to find out if he wasn't back within the next fifteen minutes. Snatching his bag from the public lockers, he ran to the public restroom. To his utter surprise, there was a line for the men's restroom. Seriously!? That never happened. And it's not like he could waltz into the women's restroom (which, not surprisingly, also had a line). He went around, and found a private unisex bathroom.

VACANT

He flung himself inside, locked it, and striped away his cosplay. Something shifted in the corner of his eyes—it was you. And there you both were, standing in awkward positions down to your undergarments. You pointed at each other accusingly, and shouted at the same time; "I do know you!" You both recognized each other as idols; him being with Heartsteel, and you as a solo-artist. Even though brief, you two bumped into each other more than once at the company building.

"G-get out! I was here first." You blushed, taking your moon-wand and smacking him with it. "Ouch—it said vacant!" He cried out, trying to block your magical melee attacks. "It was your fault for not locking it. How was I supposed to know?"

"I really don't have time for this. Do whatever you want." You tossed your wand into your bag, fetching your skirt. You shot a narrowed look. "Just don't look over here, or else."

"Fine." Ezreal huffed, rubbing at his sore collar bone. "Don't look over here either."

With grumbles and protests, the two of you changed back to back. All the while, still bickering. He heard you struggling, turned over his shoulder, and found you trying to reach your back zipper. He sighed, helping you raise it to the back of your neck. You turned sharply. "I told you not to look but...thank you." You peeked down and noticed his pants weren't zipped up. You reached and returned the favor. He blushed, suddenly feeling self-conscious. He gulped. "Don't sweat it. Thanks for catching that for me."

A silent truce settled between the two of you as you finished dressing, and shared the mirror to freshen up. Ezreal realized you were also in a rush to get ot the studio as well. He called an Uber for the both of you. His phone buzzed and buzzed, blowing up with messages. He opened his group chat:

[Aphelios:] yone is pissed btw. rip ez. ☠️

[Kayn:] YEAAAA YONE'S GONNA GROUND YOU. 😈😈😈

[Sett:] Sorry, Ez. We tried to cover for ya'h. Hope you're alright. 😓

[K'Sante:] I'm sure he's fine. For now. Once Yone finds him, we may not see him again in one piece. hehe.

[Kayn:] HAHAHA HE'S SO SCREWED HAHAHAAAAA

[Sett:] Watch it, Kayn. Else im tellin' Yone you snuck out on the motorcycle last night.

[Apehlios:] i have footage from the house cam. 😏

[Kayn:] YOU GUYS BETTER NOT ISTFG 🤬🤬🤬

Ezreal sank down into the back seat. Kayn was right—he was so screwed. You watched his whirlwind of expressions from the side of your lashes. You couldn't help but feel bad for him. You were right on time for your schedule. And it was all too apparent he wasn't. You stared out the car window. It really was tough to balance certain things as an idol, and some were better at it than others.

When you both arrived at the Riot building, and walked passed the double swinging doors, there was definitely Hell to be paid. A bead of sweat ran Ezreal's temple. Finding Yone standing with his arms crossed, and looking down with a razor-sharp gaze.

"Is this why you were late?" Yone directed the comment towards you. Ezreal bit his bottom lip. Yone tapped his foot against the ground. "You have exactly five seconds, or I'm addressing your conduct with Alune. And if that happens, I promise, you won't like the result of our conversation."

He stumbled to get the proper words out. "No—I—it has nothing to do with her—I was just—"

"Ezreal did nothing wrong. I'm the one responsible for making him late." You stepped forward, garnering Yone's interrogative attention. "You see. I'm absolutely crazy in love with him." The whole lobby fell to dumbstruck silence. "I blackmailed him into going out with me today. I even went as far as to give him this hickey," you pulled down the top his shirt, revealing the bluish bruise against his clavicle from when you smacked him. "I took a picture of it. And told him if he didn't finish our date, I would tell all his precious fans he was taken. So...." you trailed off, unsure of what else to say. Ezreal's eyes were as wide as saucers from the blatant forgery of your lie.

Yone narrowed his gaze against you, as if trying to siphon the real truth. You only stared harder in return, solidifying your stance. Yone breathed out a tensive puff of air. "I'll be speaking to your manager then. Whoever it is, they'll be responsible for reprimanding you. In any case, don't you ever come near him again. Or else you won't have a career in this business—I'll make sure of that. Do you understand?" You paused, then gave a veiled smile. "Of course."

Before Ezreal could speak up again, Yone snapped a finger, pointing for Ezreal to head in the direction of the recording studio. He took a breath, as if wanting to say something—anything to you. But Yone spoke with a silent bite. "Don't make the rest of your team wait for you any longer." Ezreal nodded, bit the inside of his cheek, and walked away. About to turn into a hallway, he gave one last glance over his shoulder. Catching his stare, you placed a finger against your lips, before disappearing with Yone into an elevator.

And all Ezreal could think was: he really needed to see you again.

K'Sante

Favorite types of kisses: Warm, gentle, homey kisses.

I honestly headcanon K'Sante as one of the gentlest most romantic members of the group. I imagine he's the type to wrap his love in his arms and just bask in their presence before planting a very warm, loving kiss on their lips. Their cheek. The top of their head. He likes to go in for a little nuzzle before landing a kiss on them too.

Sett

Favorite types of kisses: Playful, goofy kisses

He's the type to give you kisses while making noises like he's pretending to eat you. Going to town on your cheeks while going "om nom nom nom" instead of "mwah mwah mwah mwah". He wants to make you giggle while he loves on you, because your laughter is what makes him happy. He wants your cheeks to hurt with how much you've been smiling.

Yone

Favorite types of kisses: Relaxed, sleepy kisses

He works a lot, and canonically drinks a "medically unwise" amount of coffee (his words, not mine). He likely doesn't get enough sleep, and is more stressed than he needs to be. So crawl into bed and tempt him to come over. Snuggle up to him and give him a few sleepy kisses to help him unwind. He'll snuggle right into you and savor every moment of it.

That is, if you can actually tempt him to come to bed. That's a while separate chore.

Kayn

Favorite Types of Kisses: Overwhelming, smothering kisses

He likes attacking, and being attacked, with kisses. It makes him feel loved. Making his partner feel loved makes him feel loved. He loves walking in through the front door and just getting bombarded with a bunch of little kisses all over his face. In the beginning of the relationship, he maybe tried to play it cool and like it was silly. But later on, he gets the jump on his partner.

Ezreal

Favorite types of kisses: kisses that evoke a sweet puppy love

Ezreal is another one of those hopeless romantics, but he wants the kind of love that gives him butterflies in his stomach. It's less about the type of kisses he receives, but more about how it makes him feel. Kisses that make him blush or make him a little embarrassed after the fact are exactly what he wants. He never wants to lose that spark.

Aphelios

Favorite types of kisses: Long, lingering, soft kisses.

Aphelios is a deeply romantic person. His love is soft and gentle, and his kisses are an extention of that. He wants have his face held in someone's hands and to feel their warmth. He wants to lose track of time and feel like they're the only two people in the world. A simple goodbye or goodnight kiss is never just a peck with him. Expect to satiate his need to love on you, and be loved in return.

Alune

Favorite types of kisses: Joyful, every day, casual kisses

The simple joys of casual kisses in your daily lives brings her a lot of joy. Goodnight kisses, good morning kisses, see you later kisses. Pecks on the cheek, kisses on the top of the head, nose kisses. Just the knowledge that you're thinking of her makes her happy. You may give her a little kiss on the top of her head before you sit down to enjoy a show, and catch her looking over at you with a sparkle in her eyes and a blush on her cheeks.

I wanted to write something for myself so these are my head canons for the heartsteel boys!!!

Heart stealing fluffy headcanons!

Augh these boys

Men actually lmao

First of all

Imo, Ezreal is really smart!

He studied health, both mental and physical, and wanted to be a therapist but he just didn't enjoy that route after high-school

Mostly because he enjoyed singing and dancing too much, and his personality wouldn't really help

Ezreal cannot be super serious

He can be serious at times, but he has his limits on seriousness

He was also a choir kid, he loves singing and took classes for it!

In his mind, the vibrations when he or others sing is comforting

Ezreal also has really good ears! He can probably Sett making his protein shakes every day from his room (I believe he has the second farthest one from the kitchen, yone took measures to make them as comfortable as possible)

That also makes him both a light sleeper and an early riser

So he became acostumed of going to sleep earlier because Sett and k'sante go off to the gym together in the morning

Talking about the gym, the group goes once a week with K'sante and Sett to keep their shape to a T

Aluhe joins, too, but when she does, the boys keep a close eye on the people around them

Yone, when they don't go to the gym, goes on a three mile jog or run in the morning

Aphelios does a lot of waist and core workouts when the group goes to the gym, though they encourage him to build some more muscle in other places, like arms

K'sante has used everyone as a weight

Yone has the best balance of everyone, he can literally stand on a yoga ball on one foot and not fall

Kayn was in gymnastics in high-school and has gotten 3 gold metals and 1 silver during his years

Kayn is very good at taking care of people and is quite the history nerd

Aphelios, Sett, and Yone are English smarties

Ezreal is a science nerd

K'sante is a math boy

He both hates it and loves it

Aphelios can talk, that's canon

But I believe that he is able to strain his voice, and if he does that, he will struggle to communicate

Which is why he doesn't sing anymore

He learned sign language because alune has hearing problems

Sett can see in the dark, and his eyes also glow a little bit

Yone's eyes, in the sun, look gray, but in normal (good) good lighting, their green

K'sante and Sett can not do the splits, but the others can!

K'sante stretches, though!

Kayn loves skydiving

And he hates tea

Sett loves hugs, but he sqeezes people to death so he barely gets any

Alune loves his hugs tho!

Ezreal abuses the GC with copypastas

Yone has put him in both mute and time out because of it, but he still does it

Aphelios is really great full for that lmao

Yone listens to "giants" to support his brother in secret

He also just likes the song

They've all cuddled with each other once or twice

Kayn is a singer, and Rhaast is a rapper

Kayn is actually a nervous reck with his idols, but he hides behind Rhaast, so it seems like he's either a dickhead or really overconfident of himself

But we'll talk more about that in the angst headcanons 🙂

heartsteel headcanons 2: jobs

this was inspired by a post (and its comments) by @sils-current-hyperfixations about what jobs the heartsteel gang would have if they weren't making music together!

Yone

I feel like Yone could have gotten himself into some horrible desk job that he hated. I can envision Yone with a 9-to-5 and a closet full of button down shirts and dress pants. Something where you have to send a ton of emails.

I think if he had the patience for it, Yone would do well as a psychiatrist or therapist - a job where he could help people in a meaningful way.

Sett

Sett would enjoy something with physical activity - I think he'd like being a sports coach, athletic trainer, or something along those lines.

He could probably be a professional athlete if he was dedicated enough. His mom would worry about him getting injured, though, so he might settle for just being a coach.

K'Sante

There was a comment on the original post that suggested bartender for K'Sante and I have not been able to get that thought to leave my head.

I also think he'd make a great baker or chef - I think he'd enjoy a creative career, something where he gets to make things while also getting to interact with people.

I think K'Sante could have a little Etsy shop where he does woodworking or pottery or something and it would be cute.

Ezreal

Ezreal loves history. Ezreal loves museums. Ezreal would be some sort of historian, archaeologist, or archivist.

I could also see him as a librarian of some sort - I think he would like working with like classic literature or historical texts/maps/images.

Aphelios

I think Aphelios would enjoy a career in technology. He'd be good at computer science and software development and coding and things like that.

He could be a web developer of some kind, or maybe a game designer. I honestly don't know a whole lot about jobs in the computer science field, so my ideas here are kind of basic, haha.

Kayn

Kayn could be a good tattoo artist or professional piercer, I think. He'd like the creative freedom (and also he'd just think it was cool.)

I could also see him working at a nightclub? Managing the people, working with performers/bands playing shows, etc.

Alune (because I like her)

I don't know how much (if at all) Alune was canonically involved in the production of the Heartsteel music video, but I think Alune would like film production/editing.

I like the idea of Alune with a big professional camera just stealing the rest of the heartsteel gang and being like "OK POSE". I also think she could be interested in fashion and do like fashion photoshoots with everyone.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING ═══ CANON VERSE ═══ Send 🌀 for my muse’s reaction to getting stuck in a storm with yours.

The rain harshly battered down on the makeshift cover atop their heads, the fabric barely hanging onto the tree branches as Robin's side pressed against the samurai's, the water beginning to leak in as the violent storm raged around them. The mage glanced up to Yone before following the line of his stare, narrowly able to see a few lights through the horrific overcast that painted the land gray. Robin smiled miserably, a strange sort of pain striking in his chest as he reached down to brush the tips of his fingers over Yone's hand, resting his head back on him in their proximity. Finally, his fingers curled around the man's palm.

The touch was gentle, soothing almost as he felt the wind try its best to knock them from their spot, the cruel throws of nature caring little about the two humans hidden amongst trees and branches. Robin flinched when two drops of water landed on the bridge of his nose and began to slide down his cheeks, as if mimicking crying while he continued to gaze at the little lights with his...friend? Could he truly call him that now? And finally, the melancholy words left his lips, speaking truth that Yone would never reveal in a show of strength.

"I miss it too."

A warm home. A soft bed. Safety...being embraced by family. Oh...How Robin could lament, and how he was sure that Yone could cry over the loss of such things too.

I've always been curious - what are your favorite ships?

under the cut bc its rambly and No One Cares about my old ass fandoms that were seasonal for most people but stuck with me for some reason and also to maybe avoid showing up in searches/tags for the rare person looking for Content

i guess the most Hardcore ive ever shipped is mcreyes (yes, overwatch i know), they consumed me with a rage that pretty much burned me out of fandom (tho i still ship it, i just literally never found anyone that sees them the same way i do - non-fanon compliant it is for me). along with them i also have somva and widowana and of course shimadacest, its just the Polycule living in my head [i guess i should point out i broke up w canon after the like first year of development ie after the great retconning so i neither know nor care whats happening there, these characters are basically (schrodinger's) ocs at this point]

the other fandom i am Too invested in is, tragically, dragon age, which i still sorta indulge in some Canon for (i apologize for whats likely going to happen to this blog once the next game comes out lmao). My ships there are mostly OC/canon, as the games sorta lead into. Anora/Zevran/Cousland (and cousland/loghain, and cousland/fergus...); Carver/Hawke/Isabela (/qp!Anders) [well and just some good old hawke/anders really], and Dorian/Trevelyan/Blackwall (/qp!Vivienne) are my mains.

dragon age leads to mass effect, where i fell head over for shakarian which i will fight for to my last breath i do not give a fuck. and also ashlaw wich i literally had to invent a shipname for cuz nobody else cares about it lmao (ashley and miranda if anyone even knows the franchise here lol)

i think more obvious is my love for star wars, i ship just the entire pentacule in the prequels/clone wars - obi/ani/padme/ahsoka/sabine. han/leia/luke(/lando?) for the og trilogy and reylo and finn/rose/poe in the new one (tho thanks to fandom im much less invested in finnpoe)

ive been in like a few fandoms that were wild and strong but didnt last - red dead where i shipped john/arthur/abigail; detroit become human where hannor ate my brains. pathfinder and divinity original sin which literally did not have a fandom, but i will tell you i very much ship my mains with amiri/octavia/regongar (in kingmaker) and camellia/daeran (in wotr);. in divinity Lohse/Sebille and Fane/Ifan are the other polycule plaguing me. oh and pillars of eternity with devil of caroc/maneha/PC tho i eventually ended up pairing up aloth w my pc in deadfire

real talk tho, the most recent thing close to an Obsession is fucking league of legends (yes i know) where its swain/darius/draven; yasuo/yone/taliyah; kayn/zed; and some good old lucian/senna. i mean you've seen the TF/Graves art this shouldnt be a surprise lol

and yeah in Arcane its silco/jinx/vi/vander

But mostly lately ive been merrily making DnD OCs and playing Rimworld which allows for amazing characters so it's kinda OC season i guess

oh and as an end to this rant which everyone gave up on reading im sure - i'll leave you with the fact that what got me into real fandom communities was itasasu (/saku and/or karin sometimes) and wincest (/jack) has been a latent interest even tho spn has never been high on my interests list so do with that what you will lol

ACTIVITY

Blog content such as stories, head canons, and general post unrelated to roleplays will be on a, as I manage to write it basis. My asks are open to request ships between Diana, Thresh, and other canon characters, it’s just my muse to write said requests that might cause me to be slow.

I’m new to Tumblr, but not new to RP. If you’re interested in doing an RP with Thresh and Diana please reach out to my messages and provide a writing example (I lean on the side of novella writing which is why I ask for at least 2-3 paragraphs) From there we can plot and turn to Discord if there is easier for both of us! Thresh and Diana are free to be shipped with most. Please note that they are already being shipped together with Yone as their ‘main’ ship if you will, but don’t mind poly shipping with other characters. The only character that I do not actively ship Diana and or Thresh with is Leona (I honestly think the ship is so… forced. It’s not my cup of tea.)

Just let me know if you’re interested in an RP where the main motive is to get them together. I don’t mind posting about it and making cute things for ships, but I am a bit picky about who I do ship with Thresh and Diana.
