Both the time I take and the price I charge will vary due to complexity, but I will do my best to inform you of any changes or delays!!

Artwork is for personal use only. Do not resell or make profit off of my work without my permission. Additionally, my artwork is strictly forbidden from being used for Artificial Image (AI) Generation or anything similar.

Light blood/gore is okay!! If you're worried that something might be too heavy, don't be afraid to ask!!

I will do light nudity! LIGHT. Pretty much chest only and very little uncovered female presenting breasts. However, I will allow for censored and/or covered up nudity. I must express tho: No NSFW/suggestive, please and thank you. I just don't feel comfy drawing it. Please use what art I have already posted as reference for what I'm willing to draw (my drawing of my dnd character, Jack, is a perfect example).

Some of my rules are bendable and/or negotiable! Please just ask!!

I will default to using my grainy brush, so if you don't want that, say something!

If you don't care about the specifics of what I draw and just simply want me to draw your blorbo, I'm okay with that!! I might ask for the kind of vibe you're looking for tho

Specific Commission Content Information:

I do accept furry comms!! Please be aware that I don't typically draw furry art so I am pretty inexperienced in that field. Regardless! I really want to try anyways and do my best, so I appreciate your patience with me!!

Additionally with furry comms: I will only do anthro/humanoid!! I'm not all that confident in my abilities to draw animals in the way I want to, but maybe someday in the future!

Yes I will draw your DnD character!! You must already have a visual reference for them, or at the very least, an assembly of reference images that I can use! I will not be designing your DnD character from scratch. It takes way too long for me to do something like that and I wish to respect both my time and effort and also yours.

I will draw most all DnD races. Please be aware the more animalistic races are not entirely within my expertise, but I will do my best!!

This goes for general OCs as well!! You must have an adequate visual reference of your OC for me or else I can't help you.

I don't want to draw irl people, but if you have someone specific or traits from someone specific that you want me to use as a reference for a character, I'm fine with that.

Yes I will draw fanart of any sort!! That includes fanart with all your headcanons!! (with ample reference) Just lemme know B)

The line between complex and simple background, at the end of the day, is up to my ruling, but for a general guideline: - No background: colors and/or gradients only, simple shapes and designs. No linework. - Simple background: concrete but not overly detailed. Does not especially matter where elements are coming from (if applicable). Ornate borders. - Complex background: detailed with heavy thought put into their design. Detailed linework. I will be doing a 70/30 rule. 70% character, 30% background. If i have to break out the perspective tool, it's complex. Refer to the examples for a general idea!!

Commission Process Rundown:

You go into my DMs and you say something like "hello! I would like to commission you for x, y, z!"

We talk over what you want, what you're looking for, how many characters, color or just lined, if you want shading, style, etc.

You give me a reference image if applicable.

I approve or deny the commission details and total up the price of your commission.

You confirm or deny the price and add or subtract any details to your order.

Upon your confirmation, I give you the link to my kofi or send you a paypal invoice (I would prefer kofi since it is easier and friendlier).

Once payment goes through, I start work on your commission at my next convenience!

I will send you a screenshot of the general sketch. You may change pose or any other detail at this stage. After your confirmation, I continue work.

I then send you a screenshot of the lines nearly finished. You may change minor details at this stage. If I made a mistake in design or otherwise, please let me know and I will be more than happy to fix it. If lines is all you asked for, then I will screenshot one last time once it's done, you confirm any last tweaks, and then I will send you the final image file!! I will ask if you want it to be a transparent image/blank background/specific color background/etc.

If that's the end of your commission details then yay!! If not, the process repeats for the colors and/or shading stages.

I will ask if you mind if I post the artwork! If you don't want me to post it, I won't.

Welcome to the Group OC Tournament

Submissions are Closed!

What is this?

This is a tournament for groups of OC's. If you, or you and some friends have some OC's who interact, whether it be via multiverse shenanigans, ttrpg parties, or elaborate shared universes, I wanna hear about them.

This will be a low stakes, fun vibes tournament, don't be an asshole to anyone else. In fact, I would encourage OC groups going against each other to talk to each other and maybe make a collaborative piece (writing, music, art, whatever) together. These pieces will be collected and after the main poll, we'll run a secondary one about the best collaborative piece.

Don't feel pressured to do this, however, it's an opt in bonus.

We are now accepting Duo's

The rule stating groups had to have three or more members has now been pulled back to two or more, however, it should be noted that this is more about fun group dynamics, story and concept, not so much romance or oc shipping, so try to keep that in mind when submitting. After this tournament finishes, I might run one on this blog for oc shipping, so maybe save your ship's for that.

How many nominees are you accepting?

I don't know. There might be a lot of people who're interested, there might be very few. It will depend on the response to the tournament.

Submission's will stay open until I decide to close them, I will give a two day warning before closing them.

Can me and my friends submit a team or group together/can I submit a group by myself?

Yes and yes. I encourage multiple people submitting a team, but individuals submitting a team are absolutely allowed.

Can I submit a- ?

You are welcome to submit:

-Fandom OC's (Including Fantrolls/fankids, pony oc's, minecraft oc's)

-Dnd parties, characters from ttrpg groups

-RP characters

-OC's from planned stories/webcomics/ect

-OC's from existing stories/webcomics/ect (provided you, or you and your co-submitters own the OC's in question)

-OC's from mmorpg's (such as Guild Wars, Final Fantasy, WoW)

-OC groups of two or more people. (Probably if you're getting to around 15, that's maybe too many, and either focus on a smaller part of the group, or work out a different group to submit)

-Other OC's that fit the tournament theme. If you're not sure if your OC group is appropriate, message me and we can work it out.

Your should not submit:

-Harry Potter OC's. I will ignore submissions of OC's from Harry Potter. If your group previously had a fan character/s from Harry Potter, but that fact has been changed or made irrelevant, or if you have adapted the Harry Potter setting to something distinct, that's allowed.

-OC's groups of only one person.

-On behalf of other groups. If you and your friends/team/group do not own the OC's you're submitting, you shouldn't be submitting them.

-Singular OC's that two or more people share custody of. That's very fun, but not what this tournament is about.

-If you're unsure if your OC breaks a rule, feel free to message me and we can work it out.

Can I submit more then one group?

Yes. But-

Each group should be unique OC's. Or, in other words, no single OC should appear on more then one submission.

And-

No one person should submit more then three submissions.

If there's a problem with any of your submissions, i will contact you and we can work it out.

Are you submitting?

I am submitting, but to avoid bias, I will not state the group/s I am submitting.

Where do I submit?

Can I send in propaganda?

Yes, and in fact, I encourage it. Anyone in a group can send in propaganda.

Propaganda can be writing, art, music, playlists, ect.

Propaganda will be tagged with the teams name.

If your propaganda is a pencil drawing, please make sure the lineart is dark enough to clearly make out for a better chance of people observing your propaganda.

Ordering Process:

Shoot me a DM or Ask about commissions. We can discuss what you're interested in getting and come to a conclusion on how to quote. Once we have a quote decided on I'll send a paypal invoice or a kofi item sale listing (I haven't used it yet so I'm excited to try it out), and I'll get started then. I will not start drawing until I have received at least half payment. Turn around time is about 2-7 days give or take how busy I am with work/if the queue is backed up.

Character References:

I do require some form of visual reference for characters, specifically for designing a character. I will accept Picrew mockups, stick figure poses, and pinterest boards as valid references. I will not accept AI generated references. (Not even on any moral ground but just because they're usually way too complicated and nonsensical)

Things I Won't Draw:

NS/FW is on a case by case basis. Some things squick me so I won't draw them, others are fine. I'm okay with most things but please ask first and do not assume an automatic yes.

Furries/Mechas just because I can't guarantee the quality.

Genderbends that are binary-to-binary. I find them reductive and hurtful. (Trans characters are a-okay obviously, I myself am trans)

Group shots of More Than Three characters (up to three is fine), I just don't have the mental fortitude for that many characters interacting. Ordering a bulk order of say, chibis or something is a different matter and is entirely up to discretion.

H*zbin H*tel anything. I'm sorry but they're so fucking ugly.

Things I Will Draw:

Ship art of any nature (OC x OC, OC x Canon, Selfship, etc etc, I'm not here to judge)

Pokemon, MLP, and Sonic style furries.

Design a humanized version/gijinka of a monster/furry/dragon/etc.

Design a DnD character

Any specific pose provided I'm given a reference

5. Is there any significance behind their hair color?

not really lol. john's hair is brown because it's the most common hair colour, nico [pascal's object of obsession from 2017 inver] has black hair because i wanted to further visually distinguish him from bowman. both have visible grey streaks because it's an easy way to help define the shape of the hair when drawing it

6. Is there any significance behind their eye color?

yes but only in that they (and all my characters) have brown eyes because i got tired of ppl seemingly on purpose avoiding brown eyes for their interesting characters. so i only make brown-eyed characters on purpose. the only exception is cuinn (harpy) because he has albinism but typical members of his species have dark brown eyes.

7. Is there any significance behind their height?

yes, john is my height on purpose (5'4") and nico is 5'3" because i'd unintentionally made my previous trans man characters pretty tall so i thought well let's make one who is short hashtag representation

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?

i relate to john because i'm also a beautiful brunette who sucks so much. nico is unrelatable to me because he's a cop (he's not really but the plot does follow a buddy cop format)

9. Are they based off of you, in some way?

john from long long ago (2011, my first major setting) was a direct self insert thus the similarities in appearance. he has some parts of me in him because he's my main dnd character and it's hard not to project when doing 5 hour improv sessions once a week but he has never been less like me tbh. nico ehhh not really, we don't align personality-wise because i would not tolerate pascal for more than 5 seconds without wanting to hit him with my car

10. If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?

for john yeah 100%, they were made for each other. the angle i'm going with for their arc is a "perfectly synchronous" relationship being no protection for some bad shit going down between them, showing that if two people are SOO perfectly made for one another, it can often lead to one person taking the other for granted, assuming they can predict how the other person will react in any given situation, and ultimately it all results in a messy breakdown of communication.

for nico i meannnnnnnn he is a horse trainer and pascal is a horse so there is that, but in terms of personality they are intentionally very opposed and clash frequently, get on each other's nerves, fight, and not always smooth over those incidences. they are not very compatible.

11. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?

yep

12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?

I'm going to be real with u I could draw and write John in my sleep. Nico i find difficult to write, I have a hard time finding his voice. The ranger uniform also annoys me.

13. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?

john as a dnd character has no future whatsoever aside from a planned multiclass, he could fall off a cliff next session and die idk. Nico is one of the few characters i haven't thought much about post-canon, i don't feel like it's relevant.

14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

john: 1. literally just say the first thing that comes to mind, always. 2. keep em guessing

nico: 1. hes scared of boats and this is surprisingly relevant, i keep forgetting it lol. 2. i try to keep in mind my studies of horse trainers & their work, how they interact with their animals and what subtle body language they might use; these are people who frequently have to convince giant frightened animals that they are in charge here, this translates into how they hold themselves, how they speak, how they approach conflict etc.

15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?

john's secret fear which we have discussed in dms (iykyk)

nico let himself get tricked into going on a theme park date with pascal while on duty and didn't even realise until afterwards that it was an elaborate setup of fabricated evidence all so that pascal could get him in the tunnel of love

The Masterpost of Info and Rules

So hi, hello, this is my first ever ask blog so don't mind if I seem like I don't know what I'm doing - because I don't.

What's 'Altogether Now Au'?

Altogether Now is my silly lil Rain World AU dedicated to putting these slugcats together like a DnD party and throwing them into scenarios. This blog decides to take place after the initial major story elements of the au for the purpose of having these scugs already in an established group.

This means the scugs have already met FP, LttM, and are currently deciding to just explore and live - seeing what happens. There are very certain story events that do not take place, or are altered, so feel free to send asks about the 'campaign' timeframe, the present 'explore and be a funky lil group' or even about the future of the scugs (just mention it in your ask please!)

Who's available to ask?

As of now, only the main slugcats (and one oc). In the future, other ocs might be available to ask, but I doubt I'll add the iterators themselves to be recipients. They can be drawn as an answer but you'd have to ask a slugcat.

Any plans for this blog?

At some point, I want to add my gijinka's of the characters into the mix, but to start off with I'm going to stick with the regular scugs!

This isn't your Rain World Art Blog?

Nope! That's on my main, this one is fully dedicated to just asks and whatever doodles result from said asks.

Rules!

Keep asks respectful, including no NSFW/Hate/Fetish etc. Basically - don't be weird about the slugcats or me.

I can and will delete asks if I feel uncomfortable with what is being asked. This is to no offence to the asker at all and should not be taken personally

There are some ships in this AU, they will be tagged appropriately, so it is up to you to filter appropriately to your wants.

Yes, they can happily interact with other blogs or aus! In this AU, they're known individually as 'timelines' and will be treated as simply an interaction between two different timelines! Also I adore drawing interaction posts lmao.

The New DnD - 3.5 vs Now.5

It's been hard for me as a long time builder of Faerun (complete worlds/modules via Electron) and a live PW DM to negotiate some of the more subtle changes a new player would never get. I started with 3.5 and being really well-versed in those rules/physics and the new stuff is so simplified.

Then in game - certain things were generic-fied - like using domains instead of Gods/Goddesses instead of both.

And of course - the general use of Drow, Tieflings, and Elemental/Aasimar as discriminated against, but not integrating that more fully into the plot for player characters origin characters. No one likes racism - but it's been a part of Faerun culture forever (Dwarves hate Elves and vice versa, everyone hates Mindflayers and Thayans (except Mindflayers and Thayans.) And to choose that race was to accept - possible racism/culturism and physical/character stat weaknesses.

(It is also important - overall - the thing that DEFINES adventuring parties is the ability to see past racism either with benevolence or seeing each diverse member as an a means to an end or asset toward their goal even if it pushes them to give up racist views of their past.)

So seeing a massive bloom of Tiefling/Drow/Aasimar ocs/tavs kinda put me off at my core. Yes, horns are cool, but wtf you are going to have the plot/culture/shift pivot around that choice. (At least you would if I wrote the game.)

Also I felt Evil Playthroughs lack a bit of bite and don't sandbox the evil character stringently enough in the environment. I mean if you are going to pick evil - let's get some evil Gods in there vs Domains. If you play a Thayan Red Wizard, you get treated like one or a Priest of Lovitar or Druid of Talona/Malar. You should walk into Rivington and people cringe in fear when they see the robes/tattoos or the religious symbols.

Same thing for neutral/good - you walk into town, people see a Chauntea Druid and know they could get healing (for free) or maybe help with sickly plants or fields. Or a Knight of Lathander or Tyr walks into town and they know they could get both help and healing. They are HAPPY to see you.

Honestly though - I don't care in the end. The popularity of the game is forcing literacy on people who usually play mindless console games. It is basically forcing non-readers and delayed readers to read to enjoy the game. It might not be the DnD I learned or am most fluid with, but it is an evolution on the Toolset I know so well and the physics I learned to develop in its baby-stages in NWN1/2.

And as long as a game is forcing/motivating young people to READ and learn, plus teaching them tabletop unwittingly, fueling fan art and writing, and even moreso fueling new modders to learn to code/program to make the game do what they like - I am VERY happy with the creative zeitgeist it is.

I will do light nudity! LIGHT. Pretty much chest only and very little uncovered female presenting breasts. However, I will allow for censored and/or covered up nudity. I must express tho: No NSFW/suggestive, please and thank you. I just don't feel comfy drawing it. Please use what art I have already posted as reference for what I'm willing to draw (my drawing of my dnd character, Jack, is a perfect example).

I do accept furry comms!! Please be aware that I don't typically draw furry art so I am pretty inexperienced in that field. Regardless! I really want to try anyways and do my best, so I appreciate your patience with me as I learn!!

Additionally with furry comms: I will only do anthro/humanoid!! I'm not all that confident in my abilities to draw animals in the way I want to, but maybe someday in the future!

Yes I will draw your DnD character!! You must already have a visual reference for them, or at the very least, an assembly of reference images that I can use! I will not be designing your DnD character from scratch on description alone. It takes way too long for me to do something like that and I wish to respect both my time and effort and also yours.

I will draw most all DnD races. Please be aware the more animalistic races are not entirely within my expertise, but I will do my best!!

This goes for general OCs as well!! You must have an adequate visual reference of your OC for me or else I can't help you.

I don't want to draw irl people, but if you have someone specific or traits from someone specific that you want me to use as a reference for a character, I'm fine with that.

Yes I will draw fanart of any sort!! That includes fanart with all your headcanons!! You want me to draw an As Close To Canon As Possible LoZ Link? I will do that! You want me to draw a 10 billion scars everywhere, transfem, nonverbal signing, Actually She Lost A Leg Too And Now Has A Prosthetic, shaved head Link LoZ? I will do that too!
