#4am EVERYTHING in me HATED this workout this morning. I didnt feel like it. It was hard. I had to come up with modifications. It was a lot of up and down. I was so hot and sweaty. Uuuggghhhh! 👊👊👊 ☆ Even with all of that I DIDNT CRY AND I DIDNT QUIT! 💪💪💪 (Im tearing up now) Yall I wanna stay healthy and get this weight off so badly 😢😢😢. Everyday I pray for better behavior when it comes to my food. Better choices, portion control, and eating at the right time are so hard bc i learned bad habits and have spent my life giving and doing for others before giving and doing the right stuff the good stuff for myself. ☆ At my size and age I dont have any health problems yet although diabetes is close. Ive lived so many years on the high end of the safe range for diabetes and cholesterol. I dont want to tip the scale. ☆ Its especially hard when there are so many great before and after stories/pic and quick weight loss gimicks and im still not seeing significant progress and making bad food choices. ☆ Im feeling bad now but I refuse to let how im feeling shape the rest of my day. THE PITY PARTY IS OVER and the workout is done. ☆ Time to get my time in with God. I BELIEVE HIM TO BE FAITHFUL. I believe when the time is right he will answer my prayer. Soon ill have a great before and after testimony that will inspire others. ☆ Make it a great day. #4am @shauntfitness and day 2 of #focust25beta are done. I woke up before 4 and just hit it. The workout definitely seems to go faster when the clock is covered. #speed2.0 is FAST but i kept up with the modifications. I didnt have to take a break until I was at 14 mins remaining. He actually said "Kee-Kee, I love what we have. I dont ever want it to change." I heard him say it but I interpreted it...I received it as "Kee-Kee, I love you and I never want that to change." This was nearly 20 years ago. I was a different person then. I was under so much pressure to be in a relationship that would get me to the coveted MRS. In retrospect, idk the reason i was chasing marriage. I never knew a successful happy or faithful marriage. I was setting myself up for heartbreak and failure bc i refused to believe what he said was true. Im telling yall this bc I dont want yall to hurt like ive hurt. I caused that pain. Sometimes we want things so badly that we jump too fast, believe what has never been said or refuse to believe what has been said and/or done. Love yourself. Last week i made a post about following through on one thing until the end. My sister, friend and #beachbodycoach @coachsnc took that as an opportunity to ensure that i was a person of integrity. She encouraged me to continue #focust25alpha then #focust25beta to complete the program. The beautiful thing is that she agreed to complete the journey with me. She knows i workout at #4am. She scheduled an event for us on fb messenger for #4am. At 403am she messaged me videos with her t25 tshirt on with video in hand and we worked out together, me in st. louis and her in texas. This used to be me (part 1) Living like tomorrow was promised. Monday-Saturday living in and loving my sin. Sunday in church falln out and apologizing knowing good and well I wasnt ready or willing to give up fornicating, playing mind games with men, being self righteous and justifying my foolishness. I didnt know i had gifts. I thought people just loved me bc i was me; not that he granted me favor among all people. I thought people listened to me and did what i said bc i was me...u know positive, a little smart, and a whole lotta cute; not that God gifted me with wisdom and ability to prophesy and counsel. See what God buried in me for kingdom use, the devil used to try to kill me and to help him destroy others. He hid my gifts under my brokeness so i couldnt see them for what they truly were. But God... He had predestined a plan for my life. He had already set me apart but i didnt know what that fully meant. The devil took advantage of that. Some could have called me a hypocrit.
