☆You Are Mine - Yandere Adler Russell - part 1.

A/N: There will be a second part in the future, when my creativity comes back it's a modern au but nothing that changes the character of Adler.

Tw: Yandere themes, afab reader, male pronouns used, vague description reader.

Yandere adler russell! that when he met you you were helping Mason with some papers for his college internship, to the man's face you were sitting in the big armchair in the living room absentmindedly writing on the clipboard some information about the "experienced fbi agent". you had no idea that he worked at the CIA.

Russell caught eyes on you, looking you up and down while you didn't even mind his entrance.

Mason came from the kitchen soon seeing his old friend, Adler justified his sudden entrance with: "-The door was open and I decided not to wait to be received at the entrance." Giving a slight smile while still greeting his friend, and finally his face lit up with his eyes focused on the lens of his glasses now.

You smiled and soon Mason introduced Russell to you, you were shy at first with the size of the man and his frowning face, but soon you shook his hand lightly and gave an excuse to leave your tutor's house saying that you would be back another time.

Russell saw you leave with some notebooks in your hand, accompanying a backpack on your shoulder, walking casually through the fence and the small white wooden gate already open, following your path.

Russell soon wondered who you were getting a quick explanation from Mason but that didn't satisfy him, he needed more.

So the involuntary encounters took place, all at Mason's house, sometimes you stood in a quiet corner hoping not to disturb both men but Adler always stared at you, he wanted to understand why he was so obsessed with you, if it was your angelic face, if it was your skin that looked so fragrant and soft, if her hands were so delicate. Probably yes.

All the sickest thoughts ran through Russell's head as he stared at you and Mason found himself in the kitchen, getting himself some drink.

Adler then collected all the data about you, where you lived, who you were, your hobbies even your friends and what you had for breakfast, it all started too fast for him.

Adler looked at you as if he were going to let the dirty thoughts that crowded his head get the better of him every time he saw you.

Soon thoughts of him are disturbed by Mason who brought the drinks and finally something seemed to catch Adler's attention, but he couldn't stop looking at you.

You were so oblivious and lost in your thoughts...

He would love to lock you up in a cute, luxurious cage just for you.

Every day, without even saying a word to the man he found himself deluded in a world of dreams and daydreams, he thought you were too shy to speak and throw yourself at his feet, he was mighty the monster of America he could give you and take the world, why did you seem not to care about it?

He's practically begging you to pay attention to him.

Note Adler Russell.

Note your fucking future owner.

Adler now only shows up on days you're at Mason's house, and the way you don't seem to even notice him, you're such a beautiful thing, you shouldn't be so oblivious next to a world of men so wild, they can take advantage. from you.

It was the thought that haunted Adler the most as the man drank his whiskey and put it back on the kitchen counter, looking at the computer one of your pictures taken of you distracted on campus and quickly the man switched to the cameras in his apartment, seeing his beautiful body lying on the covers, you are an angel... Russell's angel.

But Adler's patience ran out and it was his fault, even if you didn't even know it.

The height of Adler's madness was on a Saturday, the man was going to Mason's house early again, it was your last day doing the internship at the man's house and he wasn't going to stop getting closer to you, he in his delirious head, thinks that your smiles of pure sympathy or your "good morning" to him, were like a code for him to take you as his.

Adler was as tidy as ever, a small bag in his hand with the gift you've wanted for ages (Adler listened to all your conversations and notepads and selected the one you wanted most at that moment) he was feeling like a young man in love again. in his house of 46 years old and extremely distorted exciting.

Russell knocked on Mason's door vigorously, soon becoming aware of the sound of water and joyful screams.

The man took a spare key heading towards where the sound was coming from, the back pool.

Seeing you in a bikini, showing off your beautiful skin you were practically naked in Adler's eyes, he didn't even know how to react, you weren't alone, with a boy practically his age with you smiling and very close to each other.

Russell approached, his face serious, asking you where Mason was.

- Mr Russell, he left, as it's my last day here he let me use the pool, he comes back at 12 and-" You spoke sweetly leaving the pool running towards Russell, he swore he wanted to grab you right there over his shoulder and take you from there to the most secluded place he could, don't you get it Y/N? This guy is practically devouring you with his eyes.

Adler thanked himself for wearing a jacket that covered the bulge in his pants and resolved to nod curtly and go back inside.

He wanted to kill the guy who was with you.

It didn't matter if it was a friend or acquaintance or love interest.

Adler wanted to blow the bastard's brains out on the wall.

But he controlled himself as he watched the bulge go down while trying to breathe and calm down.

You had never spoken to him so much either.

Adler was practically jumping up and down with joy, his voice was so sweet he wanted to kneel down and fuck you ass for being so perfect.

A few minutes passed and by some miracle the boy who was accompanying you in the shower left without passing Russell, maybe the dog privilege came in handy this time.

You walked back into the house, wet skin and a button-up shirt covering your ass but there was still a lot of you.

Were you doing it on purpose?

You walked past the older man covering yourself up a bit and trying to look friendly.

He really wanted to understand, didn't you see? He was crazy about you.

You sat across from the man fiddling with his cell phone and sheepishly offering to call your tutor Mason, Adler declined looking at his perfect shy face as he spoke to him, did you notice the bag in front of the man, saying he knew the store and that he should costing a lot for being a designer ( even not knowing what was inside, desperation made you try to arrange something with the man. )

Russell smiled and said it was for you, he lied sweetly saying it was just a souvenir for his internship effort.

You found it strange but happily accepted it, opening up and seeing his present material fixation, you really were in disbelief wondering how he knew.

Your joy was such that even without being intimate with the older man, you quickly got up from your position and hugged him.

Russell couldn't believe it, he hated touch, but his...

He felt like a young man in love again.

He fought the intrusive thoughts and soon hugged you, it didn't last long as Mason had arrived.

Russell left shortly after making up an excuse, saying he would talk to your friend later. Russell felt invigorated and he had a huge problem now, the wetness in his underwear and the feeling of getting rid of anyone who came near you.

Breaking Point

Warnings: Obsessive love, mentions of war, manipulation, drugging, mind control, false memories

Being a medic was a hard, grueling job, but being a medic for a bloody, unrelenting war like Vietnam was torture. The memories still are fresh in your mind, even after it was long done. It was hard, you wanted to forget it.

But, there were things you never wanted to forget, too. Fighting alongside soldiers, making sure they don't die, that is a bond you can't replicate. They were your friends, you brothers and sisters.

You had saved Russell's life.

A bullet had hit a vital point, and he was losing blood, fast. Within a week, he had Bloomed back to life. That's when your friendship started.

He, in turn, saved your life as well.

A rookie soldier had led the enemy straight back to your base. It was chaos, as your solider tried to fight back, being taken by surprise. You were unaware of what was happening, until one of your injured soldier was shot in their head right in front of you. You tried to defend yourself, but there was nothing you could do.

And when the gun hit your forehead, you knew you were dead.

Until Russell scattered the man's brain across the floor of your tent.

Things like that, you don't want to forget. Russell was a great friend.

But Russell didn't want to be a great friend. He wanted you to love him like how he loves you. Although he was sweet and handsome and you loved him, you just didn't like him like that. There was nothing he could do to change that.

Every time, he came back with more and more gifts and love letters and hope, you would let him down as nicely as you could. You were reaching your breaking point.

You just didn't know he was too.

"I just don't understand. What am I doing wrong?"

Your heart squeezed, but you just couldn't do it anymore.

"Russell, it's not you, I swear! You are an amazing guy, and a great friend, but I just don't have feelings for you."

"I could be an even greater husband, if you just..." He paused, "give me a chance."

All you could say was,

"I'm sorry, Russell."

And you were. You were so sorry that you didn't hear the defeated sigh, or the way his eyes shifted to a deep darkness. You were so sorry that you didn't even feel the tiny needle enter your neck.

He didn't want to do this, truely, but it worked so well with Bell. He wanted a real relationship, with real memories. But you were too damn stubborn. That's okay, there is plenty of time to make real memories with you.

Your vision was blurry when you came to.

When did you lay down? Why was your bed so.. soft and comfortable?

You were so warm, you never wanted to move.

Until your eyes adjusted, and you realized that it wasn't your room.

Shooting up, you tried to remember what happened last night.

Your jumbled thoughts were stopped by a soft, low voice.

"Careful Sweetheart, don't want you to get hurt now."

"Russell? Where am I? What happened?" You start to panic but suddenly your mind goes calm and frozen as he speaks again.

"Sweetheart, don't you know just how much I love you?" His smile is warm and loving.

And suddenly, your world turned rose pink.

You remember falling in love with Russell back in Nam', you remember how much you love him and how all you want to do is to be with him.

"Russell.." You can't find the words. You don't need to, as he leans down, gently cups your cheek, and kisses you deeply.

And you kiss back.

Because you know just how much he loves you, just like how you know just how much you love him.

Romantic Yandere Russell Adler (Cod: Cold War) who gets utterly obsessed with Enemy!Reader who refuses to reciprocate his feelings whenever they meet up at the enemy lines? Or when he decides to meticulously capture her himself and use MK-Ultra on her if Stockholm Syndrome doesn’t work?

He's an underrated character when it comes to fanfics here so I'd love to! First Cold War request so I'm hoping I got Adler/the plot right.

Potential Spoilers for Call of Duty: Cold War

Yandere! Russell Adler with Enemy! Darling

Pairing: Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Female Darling, Obsession, Brainwashing/Mind control, Forced relationship, Violence, Manipulation, Kidnapping, Darling is like Bell, Forced touching mentioned.

This feels an awful lot like a Bell situation....

Especially with the whole MK-Ultra thing you mentioned.

Adler is a morally gray character so he'd have no issues with brainwashing and placing false memories into your head.

Especially if he managed to fall or an enemy.

You were most likely in a similar situation as Bell.

You worked for Perseus and saw Adler as your enemy.

You and Adler have met on the battlefield many times before.

You're enemies... but Adler thought otherwise.

For some reason he fell for you.

Hard, too.

Adler tried to ignore such feelings at first.

He should capture you and interrogate you.

You're an enemy, that is all.

Yet he couldn't help but look into you.

You could be useful... if you just fought for the "right side".

He could care for you if you change sides now!

You never listen.

Your situation is a one-sided enemies to lovers trope.

All it takes is one accident to knock you away from Perseus.

Then... you're in his hands.

Very similar to Bell, they try normal interrogation first.

Adler's feelings intensify when he interrogates you.

You're at his mercy... now you have to listen to him.

Adler can't kill you, he doesn't want to.

If he really has formed feelings for you since the battlefield then he tries to avoid such an outcome.

Adler takes advantage of your restraints when interrogating you.

He traces his hands against you and really tries to push his feelings into view.

Essentially it's like he's using seduction to make you talk.

You can really tell how deranged you make him at this point.

He lightly touches your cheek and holds your hand despite the restraints.

He compliments you, he tells you his thoughts about you.

With how fast he's grown attached to you it comes off as jarring.

Once he realizes he isn't getting info or even reciprocation from you then he turns to other means.

MK-Ultra to be exact.

The idea of that is terrifying.

Adler could implant whatever information and memories he wants in that head of yours.

So, he thinks of something more domestic.

Something straight from his fantasies.

The fabricated life you're given is something along the lines of this;

You are the wife of Russell Adler.

You have been together for years.

You are working with the CIA to help track down Perseus as you and Adler met in the military before marrying.

It's something along the lines of that.

Adler would not mind brainwashing you to love him if you were an enemy.

This way you are no longer a threat and he gets to take care of you.

What a win, right?

Like he wanted, it works.

He plays his act well, too.

When you come off all the drugs, given only your first name, and given a command phrase... Adler is there.

He acts like a concerned husband when you awake and comforts your confusion.

Internally, he's smirking.

He's managed to reprogram you successfully.

It feels nice to have such a beautiful woman all to himself now, despite your past.

For the most part you believe him due to the implanted memories.

You cling to him, you tell him you love him.

You believe every word.

His first kiss with you is not the first to you according to your memories.

Adler indulges every moment with you.

Each kiss holds passion and yearning.

Each hug is tight around you as he buries his face into your neck.

You are his, he's done it!

In every way possible he's made you his.

He loves it when you look at him with adoration... even if it's fabricated.

This whole relationship you two share has been carefully created... it's artificial.

That's fine to Adler.

You'd never know the difference, now you'd always dedicate yourself to him and love him as he's always wanted...

If anyone tries to ruin this for him then Adler doesn't mind a bit more blood on his clothes... that's the job, isn't it?

I don't support what adler did to bell but I always like to imagine that he would feel guilty and obsessed over them and treat them like a king/queen later, just saying don't mind other concepts. But that's what's in mind when I draw the majority I guess? I wanna say yandere but its more like a soft/obsessive kinda healthy sometimes way that I portraid them in my mind? This is gonna sound really random but i wanna know your opinion about him

Love adler, love him so much. He'd make such a beautiful yandere either way, romantic or platonic.

There like so much angst already attached to him, he just cant take any risks when it comes to you. Which is why he is so overprotective of you. I can't stress enough how much he worries over you, the phrase "worry oneself sick" shows a picture of yandere Russell Adler.

He's so quiet, which is even more frustrating for the darling because he simply does not respond to any of your demeaning words and accusations of him being a monster. No, in his mind you're just this fragile little doll that needs to be wrapped up in bubble wrap because he honestly feels that even a harsh tone with you could break you.

He doesn't get mad at you. Not even when you stab him (which he let you because he didn't want you to cut yourself with the knife) and escape. No, he blames himself and the guy who helped you escape, and he made sure to torture that guy to death.

And then he just takes you back home and apologises softly for the little scratch on your wrist that you got when Adler grabbed it. He only works harder to keep you in your soft, pastel padded cell that he calls your room, filling it with all the soft and plush things like you.

Yandere Adler Russell ! That if you really manage to escape (luckily) you'll go into despair and call all your contacts, did you really forget? He's America's fucking monster, you won't find shelter or employment, your face will be in multiple intelligences and you won't be able to escape, if you're still lucky, and find some friend to give you shelter you're plotting a death horrendous for him, Adler will do nothing to you but torture his friend to death in the worst possible ways.

Yandere Adler Russell ! Who surrounded his friend's house with several armed men and cars everywhere, he would talk on the intercom for you to leave if you didn't want your friend to die or for him to hand you over and take your freedom, he didn't call Russell crazy, soon you saw someone come in and lock you up, taking your friend dragged away still alive. You would wake up being carried by Russell, blood all over him, with a cigarette in his lips soon waking you up, he would happily explain that your friend endured 13 hours of torture alive and that it was your fault for being so naughty. You couldn't do anything, if you tried again more people would suffer, deciding to just accept their fate at Russell Adler's side, until the end of their days.

Adler didn't like the idea at first, let's face it, Russell is a man considered "straight" by standards. Meaning he still likes to keep labels, he really wants to know what the two of you are about not just some vague or some modern aspect.

But he accepts it for you, he's both in love and lost in his sick, messed up thoughts.

(Besides the midlife crisis lol)

The two of you start hanging out more than you used to, Adler always shows you off to everyone with pride, but you notice little red flags in this, like, Russell being extremely jealous to see you talking very nice to someone else or him lying about what you two are.

"- Are you dating now?" Asks Park, smiling amusedly, drinking a shot of vodka while the background music from the bar continued at the same pace. "- Yes"- Russell replies grabbing you and smiling looking at your face, soon seeing you walk away from him smiling at the woman and saying a "-No." After vaguely explaining the two of you's relationship, you could have sworn you saw Adler's facade darkly shift as he slammed the glass a little too hard on the table in front of him. Episodes like this weren't all that rare, Adler started off mildly, saying that he accepted just being "friends with benefits."

You at first thought it was just good sex and pampering or expensive dinners and the man's company being pleasant, but that all started to change when Adler became more possessive.

You tried to ignore it, he was a gentleman, he offered you his warm leather jacket when it was cold.

He always paid the restaurant bill even if you said he didn't have to.

He would give you gifts that you had vaguely mentioned or that he himself saw you looking at.

He took you to the best parties he could, even though he didn't like most of them, he loved seeing you happy watching that show you wanted so much.

Or when he offered to take you on a not so dangerous mission in a country you always wanted to visit.

You knew the shit Adler did, but it was none of your business.

Many times when it was a very dangerous mission he always warned you in two ways:

1- left a message on your cell phone, something like: "Hey my beautiful thing, I need to do something today, I'm going to another country, I don't know when I'll be back but I promise to try to bring you a present, take care and stay well please ." or a phone call well before you go.

2- He would go an hour before going to your house, most of the time it was at dawn, and he would honk at your door or he himself would enter your house waking you up and saying sweetly that he needed to go, but he would come back for you.

He made you the happiest person in the world. But it didn't take away some fights you had.

Most happened because of jealousy and possession, Russell would ask passively but aggressively, who was the guy you talked so much on the phone, you said smiling a little too brightly that it was a colleague, someone younger than him but older than you.

He would look over your conversations without you even knowing and any flirting he would explode. He won't scream or hit you, Russell prefers to get your psychological.

He will ignore you and make you feel guilty or lampoon you for talking to someone else so intimately.

If you just say you're sorry and stop talking to the guy he'll hug you sweetly telling you that's all you need.

If you affront him and tell him the two of you just fuck and hook up sometimes he'll really explode, it'll be the first and only time you'll ever see Russell mad.

He will point a finger in your face telling you how much he loved you and how anyone wouldn't treat him the way he does and would just fuck you up and throw you away.

That would create a fight between you and Mason or Woods would have to be between the two of you, mostly holding Adler and trying to calm his friend down.

They'd send you away saying you were up to no good and you'd leave Adler high for hours.

Adler would go after his "colleague" but he wouldn't kill him, no no Y/N, he would threaten him and tell him to exclude you from every network of contacts possible and that if he even smelled him he would be a dead man.

Well, he really pulled away from you. After a while you and Adler would start talking again, he would apologize to you for being so selfish and would try to manipulate you into being with him again... What would work.

He would also manipulate your emotions, leading you to believe he was the best you could ever have, a powerful man and all your own.

Yandere Russell gets worse after you make a relationship with him official, taking away everything.

Freedom and autonomy. You would live with him in a nice house and be what you were born to be... Privately owned by Adler Russell, America's monster<3

Daughter who was missing ever since she was eight and turns out his archenemy, Perseus, took her in as his very own daughter and raised her to be one of his best soldiers. 18-year-old darling is just wondering why this scarred man is hellbent on getting her back, and occasionally had to ask him who the hell he is whenever they meet up, which is honestly very heartbreaking for him.

I feel it's only more traumatic that he lost you when you were eight.

I do feel Russell Adler would be a good father to his daughter.

No one even knows the man has a family, or anything of his background really.

Your existence is a mystery to everyone but him.

Adler probably took care of you sometime before 1981 (Needs to be 18 years before Cold War's events), where he thinks Perseus is dead.

I'm a bit rusty on times where events take place but Adler takes care of you around when he's taken a position in the CIA.

You're a secret to most people and he loves you.

Maybe he adopted you or had you with a women no one knows before taking care of you alone.

Adler thought no one would learn of your existence since he never talked about his past.

Yet somehow tragedy still manages to strike.

Adler is a man who can go from charismatic to cold in an instant when talking with others.

It's hard to tell how he's feeling at times.

Yet I can just imagine the distraught desperation within him when he finds his home ransacked, his daughter gone in the chaos.

Adler is no doubt a changed man for ten years.

He may have been more laid back when he had you to look forward to.

But now he's dedicating his life work to finding you.

Although... is there anything he can find?

Meanwhile when Adler is left a broken man, Perseus had his men take you in.

Perseus becomes your father for the next ten years.

He may even brainwash you a bit to think you've always had him as your father.

You don't recall a man named Russell Adler, let alone think of him as your father.

Far as you know Perseus saved you and took you in as his own.

The next ten years are dedicated to training for you.

Perseus isn't the most affectionate man as a father but you never complain.

You're trained to be a soldier, a killing machine for his own personal use.

By the time you're 18 it's finished.

You're the perfect soldier while Adler still tries to find his long lost daughter.

Adler is a smart man so by the time of Cold War's events, or even before it, he suspects Perseus is the one behind your disappearance.

Imagine the pain coming back to Adler when he sees you for the first time in a decade.

He can tell you're his daughter but you've changed so much.

Your attire is decked out in Perseus insignia and it's clear in your eyes you don't recognize Adler.

Adler knows his next mission is to take you back, he even plans on disguising it as taking you as a hostage for interrogation.

No one suspects you're Adler's daughter but they do question why he's so insistent on targeting you.

It does indeed hurt Adler whenever he faces you only to hear you ask him who he is.

Any attempts to make you see him as your father again is pushed away.

You call him delusional and then proceed to try and kill him.

(If I'm being honest, this whole dynamic reminds me an awful lot of Splinter, Karai, and Shredder's story from TMNT. It's off topic but it would be exactly like that.)

Adler doesn't like the idea of hurting you but tries to tell himself it's for your own good.

Eventually Adler is going to snap and order the plan of kidnapping you.

To him it's more like reclaiming but... it's just to make him feel better.

Adler is careful of not letting his team know your origins unless he trusts them.

Once he has you in CIA custody, Adler does anything and everything he can to convince you that he's your father, not Perseus.

I can imagine that if you're biologically related he'd do a DNA test to prove things.

That would screw with your mind... but it wouldn't work if you were adopted.

Reversing your thinking is difficult because Perseus didn't necessarily use brainwashing on you.

He influenced you by taking you when you were young.

There's a slim chance Adler can get you back normally due to your age.

It's slim though.

The most likely option Adler would have to do to make you his daughter is brainwashing of his own.

He hates the idea of it but you may be unfixable in your current state.

By this point his crew is going to find out your connections with Adler.

Adler comes off hostile when they say you're now the enemy.

He wants there to be a chance.

You never deserved to be a soldier, especially one for Perseus.

Adler is definitely making it a goal to fill Perseus with lead when he finds him with Bell.

Perseus will choke on his own blood when Adler is done with him....

Don't worry, he'll fix his beloved daughter...

You won't have to kill anymore, you can just go back to how things were... how things are supposed to be...

Your real father will fix everything.

While Russell Adler is the more charismatic and manipulative of the two.

Here's your story based on what I think you meant;

You're a spy for Perseus and have infiltrated the CIA task force focused on finding your boss.

Maybe you were originally from the USA or Russia, either way, you aren't on the side of your yanderes.

These two are very smart which is why they have their job.

Which means they can overlook your charming behavior to see just who you are.

Although, if either one of them knew who you were and what your purpose is, they'd wait until they can corner you.

In fact, the two may try to get closer to you to extract information.

In the process they end up possibly falling for you.

The issue becomes the fact both of them have fallen for you due to their similar goals.

Adler is the more flirtatious one, trying to charm you into giving more info about yourself.

You seem to like using flattery, have a taste of your own medicine.

Hudson isn't the charismatic type and prefers to befriend you then watch you from a distance to see if you give in information.

The two no doubt try to get the other to leave you be.

There's no doubt they know your true allegiance and are just hiding the fact they know.

It's just now they have to deal with the issue of romantic feelings forming.

A conflict of interest.

Maybe one of them wants to deal with you for being a Double Agent, while the other defends you.

Then after that they both fall for you.

Honestly, a rivalry between the two would be more competitive compared to outright violence.

Like, don't expect fist fights.

At least not every time.

They have a more tactical approach to their rivalry.

They try to beat the other to something.

For example, who can win over your trust first?

Who can gain dirt on you first?

Who can claim you as theirs first?

Before you know it, the two not only know who you are... but have blackmail and obsessive tendencies towards you.

They do everything from invading your privacy by searching documents and stalking you.

They never share the information they gain about you, usually saving it for later use.

The arguments they have, physical or not, are usually hard to tell what they're about.

They may be arguing about their missions, but deep down it's resentment and jealousy about you.

The two know how to keep their rivalry under the radar.

They'll make sure you don't know about it until you're cornered.

What's that mean? Well...

Once they have enough info about you to expose you, they have leverage against you.

Hudson could blackmail you into giving up your assignment.

After all, you could be facing death for what you're doing.

Listen to him and you'll be excused... as long as you choose him.

Adler could also blackmail you but could also brainwash you into giving up your job and being with him.

Again, it's that or death, dear.

You probably have no choice in the end, he'll pick for you.

Essentially, if you're a double agent the two will find ways to use that to their advantage.

They'll force you into being their partner while using this information somehow.

Although, the two are going to prevent each other from getting to you first.

They may frame one another or utilize a mission to keep the other away.

Either way, now that they both have ways to make you listen...

It's a matter of who corners you first.
