Finding Out You're Pregnant (Yu-Gi-Oh Boys x Female reader)

Yugi Moto

If Yugi's being honest with himself, he's always dreamed of having a family with you since the two of you started dating five years prior

But, since you wanted to wait until the two of you were married, he respected that wish, showing his affection in any way he could think of (flowers just because, kisses and hugs and gentle touches that he knew made you melt)

Once the two of you were married, though...

Let's just say that night was pretty damn spicy

Fast forward about 2 months

You'd been feeling extremely nauseous lately, most days beginning either with that feeling or by throwing up.

When talking to Téa about your symptoms, she suggested taking a pregnancy test

Yugi, like the sweetheart he is, waited outside your shared bathroom, pacing a little bit

He couldn't help it, he was nervous!

But, when you came out of the bathroom a few minutes later and showed him the test result, he went from nervous to elated.

"We're gonna have a baby... We're gonna be parents!"

Does one of those moves where he picks you up and spins you before kissing you and your stomach

Good luck convincing Yugi to get you to do anything for the next 6 months or so lol, he can and will pamper you during your pregnancy

Yami Yugi/ Pharaoh Atem

Unlike Yugi, he hadn't really given kids much thought

But, he noticed the way your eyes lingered on children running past while the two of you were dating

After about two years, the question came up in a conversation the two of you had about the future

He admitted that he hadn't thought about it, but that he loved you and if he were to have children, he wanted them to be with you

About 2 years later, the two of you were married, and anxiously waiting for the results of a pregnancy test

Atem held you close, in that moment, he felt nervous

Even if that result did pop up with a positive, that wouldn't mean that he would be a good father...

When you saw the results, you were thrilled, but you saw the doubt in his eyes

You snapped him out of his thoughts with a touch, reminding him of the feats he's accomplished, and that any child would be lucky to have him as a father

It didn't really hit for him until he got to hold the baby in his arms 9 months later

The nurse had showed him how to hold a baby before placing the little one in his arms

It was pretty hilarious seeing him tense up with a look like a deer in headlights

But... The more he held the baby in his arms, the softer that look became and the more relaxed he was

"I promise my son/daughter... I'll do everything I can to protect you" He promised before gently kissing the baby's forehead

Overall, just a big softie for his little prince/princess

Joey Wheeler

Believe me, with all my heart, I wanna say that Joey was calm and collected when he found out, but... He wasn't (the picture is pretty close to his reaction, honestly)

Joey has always wanted kids, don't get me wrong

Buuuut, he wasn't expecting to have kids this early

For context, you guys were two years into the relationship, but you'd used protection

The only problem is that the one specific time in question fell into the 3 percentile that condoms aren't effective....

He was in a panic when he found out

"Huh?! But, we used protection an' all dat... Didn't we?"

When he looked at you, you were crying, which only made him panic more

"No, no, no, baby, don't cry. It's gonna be all right. We'll figure this out togetha, I promise."

True to his word, he was at every Dr's appointment, every checkup, and at your side every moment of the delivery

All the while during the pregnancy, much like Atem, he was extremely nervous about being a father

He didn't exactly have the best father to compare to....

But, all those doubts faded away when that baby was placed in his arms for the first time

He smiled softly, a smile that told you he was gonna be a sucker for his kid

Good luck getting the baby away from him, because he wants to be there all the time

Seto Kaiba

As for Kaiba....

He's a CEO and a Duel Monsters Champion, he doesn't have time for kids

Except for Mokuba, but that's his brother...

So, when you found out you were pregnant, you were understandably nervous and afraid

Afraid that the worst would happen, that Seto would leave you and want nothing to do with his child

While your fears were understandable, you forgot that Seto Kaiba has a soft spot for his loved ones, you especially

You tried to avoid him, but a couple days of that had him pinning you against the wall in his office to get you to talk to him

He was worried about you, and asked you what was going on, telling you to be honest with him

He was more alarmed when you broke down

Through tears, you told him you were pregnant, and he was the father

He held you close to him, his heart breaking when you begged him not to leave you

"I'm not going anywhere." He made you look at him. "I won't lie, the thought of being a father scares me... But, I promise, I'm going to do everything I can to be the best father I can be."

Seto Kaiba is, above all things, a man of his word

When Seto wasn't around, Mokuba helped you out, and you better believe that baby's been spoiled since before their birth...

Once he held the baby for the first time (ngl, the sight of his giraffe self cradling a tiny baby is both endearing and hilarious), it was hook, line and sinker

Safe to say, he ended up being a better father than he gave himself credit for

(Again, I'm SO sorry this took a while! But, hopefully you enjoy it!)

Okay, this time I'll pick one that I actually kinda like, because it feels more fair that way: Irateshipping (Joey x Marik)

Oh boy, where do I even begin here. The possession, the stalking, the harassment, or the assault?

Marik has been absolutely nothing but toxic to Joey and his friends and after reflecting on how bad of a person he is he thinks everything will be ok? If this was any other series that would make him delusional!

First he tries to steal the puzzle from Yugi (Joey's best friend), then he gets his rare hunters to attack Joey and take his Red Eyes, then he harasses Yugi for a considerable amount of time, and then after stabbing poor Ryou he gets his rare hunters to assault Joey and Téa and kidnap them! Wanna know what he does then? He takes control of their minds and tries to get them to kill Yugi and take the puzzle as well as Slifer!

What a swell and upstanding guy ain't he?

To make matters worse, during the battle city finals he proceeded to further hurt Joey by trying to make Odion summon a fake Ra which resulted in both duelists getting struck by lightning and Yami Marik to come out.

What does Marik have to excuse and explain his psychopathic behavior? A sad wittle back stowy! That's what! His dad beat him, just like Joey's! That should mean something right?!

It doesn't. If anything it serves as further proof that Joey is a magnificent being far out of Marik's league.

Marik barely did anything to redeem himself and make himself worthy of Joey's love and friendship. The only thing he deserves is death.

I'm gonna get hate for this, but I don't like Yugi and Téa as a couple. Maybe as ex's, but beyond that, no. I didn't like how she favored Yami/Atem over Yugi, when Yugi was right there. There's a Season 0 episode where she asks Yugi to the waterpark and it's obvious that she prefers the 'other Yugi' over the one in front of her. It's like Yugi by himself just wasn't good enough for her.

Bakura for the ask game

Sorry for the late reply! Never got a notification and I just checked my ask box for the first time in forever... Anyway let's get to it!

(I'm gonna assume you meant Yami Bakura but do let me know if I assumed wrong!)

My NOTP for them: Vexshipping (Yami Bakura X Mazaki Anzu/Téa Gardner). I do not understand it, I do not get it, it does not require any further explanation.

My BROTP for them: Psychoshipping (Yami Bakura X Yami Malik)! I don't really have any reason for it, but I really enjoy the idea of Bakura and his idiot little brother who has no idea how the world works and asks Bakura all sort of questions that the answers should be quite obvious to, but Bakura is also stupid and in order to save his pride rather than admitting that he has not even the slightest clue about the subject makes up a stupid lie which Yami Malik immediately believes and continues to live his life believing that lie. It's pretty dumb but I still think it's funny XD

My OTP for them: For this my answer is obviously Tendershipping (Yami Bakura X Ryou Bakura) XD. This is pretty much the ship I started raving about since the day I joined tumblr. At this point I don't really remember why I started shipping them, other than I really enjoy their dynamic. They went through so much and I feel so guilty that I still want to read angst to fluff fics about them, but hey, the payoff is always worth it the end of the fic!

My second choice pairing for them: This is kind of hard, but probably Thiefshipping (Yami Bakura X Malik Ishtar)? It was one of my first ships coming into the fandom so I guess this is as a good place as any to put it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My fluffy pairing for them: TENDERSHIPPING

My angsty pairing for them: EVEN MORE TENDERSHIPPING

My favorite poly ship for them: For me this usually is Conspire/Fractureshipping (Yami Bakura X Ryou Bakura X Malik Ishtar X Yami Malik (X Thief King Bakura)) or any variation from whoever's part of it (Bakushipping, Tornshipping, etc.) for the sole reason that I want them happy 😊

My weirdest pairing for them: Diceshipping (Yami Bakura X Otogi Ryuji/Duke Devlin)! They're cute and they're both into dice idk it's weird, doesn't make sense but I like it!

FOR THE FANFICTION ASK MEME – Well, my “baby” and the behemoth in my repertoire is the epic Yu-Gi-Oh!/Azureshipping fic What Doesn’t Kill You, so I’ll do that.

14: Is there anything you wanted readers to learn from reading this fic?

At first, no. I think I started the story because I loved the interaction I saw between Téa and Seto atop Pegasus Castle in Duelist Kingdom. For some reason I really dig Strong Female Characters, and if they help an anti-hero get over his brooding? So much the better.

At the time, there was definitely fic for this ‘ship on Fanfiction.net, and I think the first one I read was by Geniusgirl, the Original. I loved it so much that even if I was into Revolutionshipping (Yami no Yuugi x Anzu) or Peachshipping (Yuugi x Anzu) at first, I quickly “jumped ship” and have been happily captaining my own Azureship ever since.

I started this fic just during my senior year of high school, I believe. It was a dramatic time in my life, but a lot of things were inspiring to me. I think I sketched out most of the ideas for the story while working at a local movie theatre! So I picked up on themes like “you can overcome any obstacle if you believe in yourself/tap into your resources/lean on others to support you.” Those are the kind of messages I heard Téa sharing, and they were what I needed to hear, too.

There’s the expression, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” and I definitely believe that, even now. You can go through HELL, but if you come out of it without becoming problematic, then you’ve grown. I say “without becoming problematic,” because you can still be traumatized and figure things out (heal) later on down the line. That is 100% okay! You can even make more mistakes as you figure things out, but if you’re focused on growing, learning, and becoming better, those mistakes CAN and SHOULD be forgiven.

15: What did you learn from writing this fic?

For one thing, I’m definitely not a “pantser,” or the type of writer that writes by the seat of their pants. I am a methodical, over-the-top planner. I knew early on that the fic was going to be 36 chapters. I even knew many of the scenes that would appear throughout the story. But did I know what those scenes would look like in prose form? HELL NO. That’s why it’s taken me so long to write the fic. Seriously, I’ve graduated college, gotten a Master’s, moved several times, gone from having a boyfriend to a fiancé to a husband, and started my own business (or two). I will finish this fic before I die, I swear it.

To that end, I’ve recently discovered that I just can’t give into my editorial self. There’s a time and a place to nitpick, to rediscover details I embedded so carefully in past chapters, and to check that they sync up with my current plans. That time is NOT when I am trying to write a new chapter. I just have to write and not worry about little details. That’s actually the wonder of fanfic: you can almost always revise the chapter contents, sometimes within minutes of posting it!

That being said, I do still appreciate betas looking over my work, checking for little things that I miss, whether it’s overuse of adverbs or incorrectly using an em-dash. Or confusing aspects of a story. Or “telling” instead of “showing.” Fic for me is fun, and I don’t know if I have nearly as many ideas for “original fic” as I do fanfic. I prefer to play in somebody else’s sandbox, even if it means I’ll never make a dime from all my hard work. So I wouldn’t say fic writing is “practice” for going “pro,” but I very much welcome constructive criticism, because I do want to grow as a writer. And honestly, if you look at the earlier chapters of What Doesn’t Kill You compared to the more recent ones? I hope you can see that I HAVE GROWN. At least, I think I have.

Ok, so canonically, Joey and Mai V. have a weird “thing” going on but, that is a bit icky cause of the, ahem, the age difference of eight years. Anzu/ Téa would be more likely, but there would be a disconnect. In my AU verse, things between these three remained platonic as they struggled to survive in the hellscape of Domino, as they have to rely on each other and grow as individuals. Due to the need for survival, a touchy-feely character like Joey would naturally be touch-starved, but romance would be far from the top of his list unless you considered taking down the bourgeoisie an ideal date.

Since I’m relatively new to the fandom, I’m still feeling things out character-wise, but here is a list of ships I would find/already find interesting with my muse. They may or may not work due to my verse, but that doesn’t stop me. I can just, “modify” the timeline, hehe. All other muses must be of age (18+) though, and I despise incestual ships.

- Devotionshipping || Joey x Anzu/Téa=> Joey, the once pervert, redeemed

- Buddyshipping || Tristan/Honda x Joey=> bros before hoes, heh

- Fade/Frightshipping (Yami Marik/Yami Bakura)=> would be interesting, but wouldn’t really be a ship, but a hate/spite-fueled bromance based upon a borderline nihilistic Joey. Not really sure how this would happen to begin with, hnng.

- Irateshipping || Malik/Marik x Joey => not sure how this one would either, but I’m open to it.

Puppyshipping || Seto Kaiba x Joey=> unlikely, more of an awkward, strict bromance/cooperation

Toughshipping || Bandit Keith x Joey=> definitely a testosterone-fueled bromance, age-difference makes this iffy. lots of yelling.

Wishshipping || Joey x Yugi Mutou => soft;; feels all around, the most likely I think, but, angst magnet

*I may be open to others, but these are the most I'm aware of.

Damn girl... All of them?

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

I love Ishizu mostly because of how she treats Kaiba. She's so snarky and straight forward towards him and just from their first interaction we get what her personality is all about. A no nonsense woman that is still caring, but just wants to get things done in an efficient way / the way the necklace gave her.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

How on her duel with Kaiba, she primarily uses graveyard effects (that honestly weren't the best, but because things were still getting figured out I'll give it a pass.) with very few monsters and she still almost cooks him. Do you know how bad Ishizu cards used to be? They weren't the best at all! That duel is honestly one of my favorites, I hate Blue Eyes players.

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

She never interacted with Yami Bakura

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

Puss and Boots. Only as an ally for him though.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them?

Double Lariat by Agoaniki (I think???). It just sounds Ishizu core.

6. What's something you have in common with this character?

We both have two brothers. A big one and a little one.

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

I love for and breathe in Mom-shizu

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

I don't like how some people make her either really dismissive of Marik's problems, really over invested in his problems, or over sexualize her.

The first two are a problem because Ishizu has been shown to give Marik the space he needs to think, and distancing yourself from a frankly abusive person is a pretty normal thing to do. She never abandoned Marik, she still loves him. She just gives him when needed.

I don't even have to explain why I hate the last thing.

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Yes.

10. Could you be best friends with this character?

No. Most likely loose acquaintances.

11. Would you date this character?

Yes.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I've already said this, but I love the idea of her seeing Yami Bakura's backstory and feeling so bad for him.

I don't like Mai x Ishizu. They just don't have personalities that blend well enough for me to ship them.

Ishizu x Pegasus. It's alright. I just don't like it.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

Ishizu's interactions with Téa are some of the sweetest ever. Téa is always so worried about Yami and Ishizu is there to comfort her 🥺. It's so cute.

19. How about a relationship they have in canon that you don't like?

There is none.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

Mai. I may not like them shipped together, but boy oh boy do I think they'd be great friends.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

I like when she's shipped with Yami Bakura. I have only read one bad fic of them.

I don't like when she's dismissive or over involved with Marik.

23. Favorite picture of this character?

I love how Takahashi drew her here <3

24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?

Honestly, a lot of how I characterize Ishizu has inspiration from Clawdeen Wolf. But only when it comes to how they treat she friends and family.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

When I first saw Ishizu: ooooo pretty lady <3

Now: oh she has a deep backstory and is an interesting character… cool <3

26. FREEBIE QUESTION!!

Using this as an opportunity to talk about museumshipping.

Since Yami Bakura and Ishizu have different diets (Ishizu doesn't eat meat, Yami Bakura does), she does most of the cooking. Bakura, however, hates this. So they came to an agreement that Bakura will learn how to cook more than just eggs, and Ishizu will expand her diet to include eggs.

Chapter 5 – This Mask That I Have Become

He didn’t know and didn’t care about such trivial matters as “time” and “human interaction” anymore. As the most powerful monster out of the many roaming Domino City, Seto Kaiba didn’t care anymore. If one of Dartz’ many minions dared to challenge him, he would strike. If a human – even one he had met before – was foolish enough to get close to him, he would strike. As desperately as he wanted to hide – if not to avoid unnecessary fighting, then to hide his curse – creatures of this world would not leave him alone. Kaiba had always been annoyed by those he deemed as less than and wanted to get away from them most of all. All, that was, except for Dartz and his minion Rafael. But in the course of his own madness, he had forgotten why it was he only wanted to fight these two individuals in particular.

Unfortunately for Kaiba, this was not to be, for as he intended to land in a forest in the distance, he heard familiar voices below. “Kaiba! You better be out here somewhere, jackass!”

“Joey, please…” Téa warned. “After we just left Rex’s and Weevil’s soulless bodies at the hospital, don’t you think you could have a little more compassion for others?”

“He’s not at KaibaCorp.” Tristan came running. “We’ve been looking for a week now… Where could he be?”

“Uh… Guys?” Joey pointed towards the sky. “Don’t look now, but there’s a big scary monster coming this way!”

“And? Is that really new?” Tristan asked. “Shouldn’t we be used to that by now, o mighty keeper of the dragon Hermos?”

“Speaking of dragons, get out of the way!” Yami Yugi barely ducked himself and his friends in time to avoid a beam of light.

“Yo, yo, yo, check it out!” Joey’s voice mixed excitement and fear. “It’s the Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon!”

“But what is it doing here?” Téa jumped back. “Just great…”

Yami Yugi took a bit longer than the others to get up from duck position. But he did not take long to recognize the monster before him, and completely froze at the sight of him. “Ah!”

“Yug, what’s up?”

“Yugi, we have to move!” Téa insisted. “Or… Or fight back, or something! Don’t you have your dragon Timaeus?”

“Well, if Yug’s not going to do anything, then I guess it’s up to me!” Joey slammed the Claw of Hermos onto his Duel Disk. “Protect us, Hermos!”

“Joey, wait!”

“Come on, what do you got, hot stuff?” Joey smirked, ordering Hermos to attack – and to his fortune, Kaiba fled immediately after just one shot. “Hah! ‘Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon,’ my ass. More like ‘Blue-Eyes Big Chicken!’”

“Now that that’s taken care of, can we please continue looking for Kaiba?” Téa suggested.

“I second that notion,” spoke Tristan. “Yugi, aren’t you going to come with us?”

“…Everyone, I think that Kaiba’s gone for good this time.”

“Eh? What do you mean, Yug?”

“He won’t be coming back…” Yami Yugi punched the concrete and began to cry. “And I’ve failed him. I’ve failed both him and Yugi!”

“Come on, Yugi, not again!” Téa knelt down in consolation. “Okay, so maybe you did fail our Yugi, but… You’re going to make up for it, right? Why else do you think we’re searching for Kaiba?”

“And what do you mean, ‘you’ve failed Kaiba?’” Joey snorted. “If anything, he failed us! Probably just sittin’ in some comfy office while us plebeians have to do the hard work.”

“Up you get, Yugi. Stop beating yourself up. We all make mistakes, don’t we?”

“Thank you, Téa…” Yami Yugi looked in the direction in which Kaiba flew off. Kaiba… Flee from me if you want, but I will see you again.

Meanwhile, Kaiba returned to the roof of KaibaCorp, having run out of other hiding places. He figured that if he couldn’t really hide anyway, he might as well stay on his home turf, complete with his private jets.

And right then and there, Mokuba had the same notion.

“Gee… Hah…” It was apparent that Mokuba had been running; he leaned against the ledge of the balcony to rest. “I don’t know who’s scarier, those bodyguards, or the monsters all over the- Seto?”

Too surprised by his little brother’s appearance, Kaiba didn’t bother to fly or even look away.

“Seto!” Mokuba started running to his elder brother, giving him a hug while crying tears of joy. “I knew you’d come back! Oh, man, running from the bodyguards keeping me from this place was worth it! I’ve… I’ve missed you, you know. Even though you can be a little mean sometimes. Can you please not run away like that again, Big Brother?”

Kaiba nuzzled his head into Mokuba’s face while the younger brother petted him.

“Oh, yeah, I forgot… You can’t talk when you’re a dragon, can you?”

Curling his tail around, Kaiba lightly massaged Mokuba’s back.

“Aww, you don’t have to worry about me! Roland and the others patched me up. And then I ran away from them again right after. Some grateful little brother I am, huh? Haha!”

“Yes, please don’t run away from me, so I can properly take your soul this time!” sounded a voice from the balcony entrance.

“Alister!” Mokuba rushed in front of Kaiba and blocked Alister’s path. “You’re not going to touch him! I won’t let you!”

“Kaiba, I know that you’re in there. Duel me so that I can finally have proper vengeance on Gozaburo!”

“Graaaaar!” Kaiba’s eyes and sapphires glowed, showing his intent to attack.

“What, you can’t duel me in that form, can you? Then, pray tell, how do you plan to retrieve the soul of Yugi?”

Kaiba… Seto Kaiba, you must duel him.

For the first time in a week, Kaiba felt his consciousness return. Who… Who is… Someone is speaking to me? But whom?

It is I, your guardian dragon Critias. You have to duel this man – not only to help stop Dartz, but also to give yourself a sense of peace.

Uh… Kind of hard to put a Duel Disk on a dragon’s arm. For that matter, I don’t have arms in this form. And how am I supposed to declare any attacks if I can’t speak?

Then you’ll have to change back into a human.

Excuse me? I need to destroy that Rafael for what he’s done!

You can’t win the trust of the pharaoh, not as you are now. If you can get your emotions under control, I’m sure it can be done.

But without the pharaoh, how can I…

Kaiba, you have a strong soul, and that’s why I’ve chosen you. I know you can do it. You want to see the pharaoh again, don’t you? I saw that look in your eyes when you fled from him just now… You didn’t really want to flee.

You’re right… Kaiba became surrounded in a white light. If I can’t become human again, then I can’t tell the pharaoh that… that I…

“Hmm…” Alister watched with curiosity. “That’s more like it.”

“Seto! Oh, thank goodness!”

When Kaiba had completely reverted forms, the first thing he said was, “Mokuba, get my Duel Disk.”

“Y-You got it, Big Bro!” Though he wasn’t comfortable with his brother dueling in these conditions, Mokuba went back inside the plane to fetch this item.

“So why the change of heart?”

“I just want you out of my life once and for all.”

“Here you go!” Mokuba handed the Duel Disk over.

“Little boy, you might as well get back in that plane so you can see your brother lose his duel.”

“So you intend to duel in my plane?”

“Precisely.”

“If I’m not going to lend my plane to the Dweeb Patrol, what makes you think I’m going to risk it for you?”

“Because how else are you going to look for them while dueling me?”

“!!”

“I’m sure you know that you need the pharaoh and the others to save the world. It’s killing two birds with one stone if you ask-”

“Okay, just shut up already!” As Kaiba lifted both himself and Alister up to the top deck, he spoke to Mokuba from a window, “Go and find a safe place to hide. Or better yet, stay here.”

“No! You’re not going to run away again! If you have to do this awful thing, then I’m coming with you!” Without a need for permission, Mokuba ran up the stairs and up to where the duel was about to take place.

“You little imp…” Despite how worried he was, Kaiba couldn’t help but smile at his brother’s devotion. “What am I going to do with you?”

Alister felt disgusted by what he was seeing. Starting up his Duel Disk, he declared, “If you’re done with the brotherly love, then it’s time to duel.”

“If you want a duel…” Kaiba began as he readied his own Duel Disk, “Then you’ve got one.”

“As the challenger, I’ll start,” Alister declared. “I summon Science Soldier in defense mode. That’s all for now.”

“Heh. Then, I’ll take you out… with my X-Head Cannon!” Kaiba declared on his next turn.

“Then I counter with my Cyber Soldier of Dark World in defense mode. I place one card face down, and end my turn.”

“You must be saving all of your luck for the end. Unfortunately for you, I don’t play that way… Here’s Y-Dragon Head! Attack the Cyber Soldier of Dark World! And now, X-Head Cannon attacks your life points directly! I place a card face down. Now that I’m done punishing you, I believe it’s your move.”

Upon drawing his next card, unfazed by his rough start, Alister spoke, “So, Kaiba, what was that you said about my luck? That I save it for the end?”

“What are you playing at?”

“No, my luck begins here and now.” Alister laughed as he held the card he just drew in his hand.

“Don’t tell me… Did you just draw what I think you did?”

“Yes, and in case you forgot about it, let me jog your memory… Hahahaha!”

“Mokuba!” Kaiba turned sharply around. “You need to get out of here!”

“Huh?”

“I activate the Seal of Orichalcos!” No sooner had Alister smashed this card on to his Duel Disk, when light and wind began to kick up. Mokuba, unable to hold his footing, flew into the nearby stairwell and passed out instantly.

“Mokuba!” Kaiba looked up. Without his control, the top deck of the plane began to open up. Wind whipped his face as the Seal rose him and Alister into the air.

“Ah… Isn’t this fresh air nice!”

“Alister, cut the crap and the magic act this instant!”

“Aww, but my magic act is just getting started!” In addition to the high-speed winds, shadows began to kick up. “For my first trick, I’m gonna need some help from the Orichalcos…”

“Hmph. How boring.”

“Oh, I’m sure that you’re not going to be bored in a few seconds, when you get to experience the same kind of pain I felt.”

When the shadows had engulfed them both, Mokuba had finally come to. “Where… Where are they? Heeeey! Seto! Are you- Aieee!”

The plane tilted sharply to the left, and Mokuba held onto the rail. “Alister… He must have deactivated the autopilot! I have to go do something…”

By the time Mokuba got to the cockpit, the plane straightened slightly, giving him a chance to turn on the radio. “Mayday! Mayday! This is KC-1! Anyone! We’ve lost control! I repeat, we’ve lost control!”

So spoke Mokuba as he frantically pushed every button he could in the hopes of contacting the outside world.
