Would anyone like to read any poc fanfics? (this means for example: Finn Balor x black! female reader, or just like interracial fanfics between: Xavier Woods, Big E, Wes Lee (NXT), Jimmy and/or Jey Uso x female! reader). You guys get the gist, right? If so, please give me some feedback! I might be starting a Big E or Xavier Woods fanfic bc I have never seen them written about in general. I really enjoy seeing interracial plus LGBTQ+ things because I have rarely written about those topics --

Love and Deepspace Men Being Flustered in the Morning
Pairing: Zayne, Rafayel, Xavier x Reader
Tags: fluff, established relationship, very suggestive, mention of morning wood, grinding, teasing, pinned down
A/N: It was really hard to get up this morning so I'm making it other people's problem. Theirs.
Tumblr media
Zayne is really difficult to fluster, and about something as natural as bodily functions. His body will do what it does, regardless if you're on top of him or not. It's just that you being on top if him is making it really hard for him to not think about, ways other then cold showers or waiting, to make his problem go away. No, you're not helping if you mention how much you can feel it poking against you, you're doing the complete opposite and he would like you to stop or be ready for the consequences of your actions.
Rafayel whines and moans when he feels you back up against him, and silently curses the fact that he made the decision to be the big spoon this time. You're doing this on purpose and he can tell as much by the smirk you gave him over your shoulder. Doesn't try to deny what he's feeling, how you're making him feel right now because there would be no point in lying to you, it would be a bad lie too. He takes your chin between his fingers and kisses you to cut you off from teasing him too much, but he doesn't keep his hips still.
Xavier won't have any of your nonsense this early in the morning, he's got enough to deal with, and not because he's dealing with the usual morning issues. As soon as you begin to tease him he turns the tables on you, pins you down beneath him, and keeps his body hovering over yours. He won't give you what you want, he won't give you the satisfaction, the pleasure he knows you want, he will leave you begging for it. So next time you'll think twice about teasing him before he's properly woken up.

Bad Mood
Word Count: 1.1k
Warnings: slightly ooc Wednesday?? angst - fluff, (not proofread I just threw it together 😭)
Summary: Wednesday has trouble figuring out your bad mood and decides to take it into her own hands
Pairings: Wednesday x GN!Reader
Tumblr media
Wednesday was frustrated, to say the least. Though she would never vocally express her irritations towards you, you were surely a dilemma, and the fact that she was having trouble solving the puzzle that was you at the moment was most definitely the issue.
You had been moping all day, acting uncharacteristically sulky and closed off. Wednesday would’ve almost liked it if she wasn’t so put off by your sudden change of behavior. Sulking didn’t look good on you, she observed, as you sat beside her during class, not paying attention and absentmindedly twirling a pencil between your thumbs, the wood surprisingly close to splintering as you did so.
No, you had not given any reasoning to why you were feeling this way, and Wednesday did not like the sneaking suspicion that she might have had something to do with it. Though she couldn’t recall ever explicitly saying or doing anything to make you upset she knew that she was most certainly not one to know much about any sort of complex emotional drama, and therefore she was left outside of the tangled barbwire that was your emotions. Why must you be so confusing? Puzzles were supposed to be enjoyable to solve, not frustrating.
Wednesday let you be most of the day, silently hoping some time would improve your mood but you remained either irritable and snappy or moody and quiet, practically telling off Xavier when he came late to class and delayed it about ten minutes. Although the Addams had to admit that she found a sort of amusement in seeing you scold someone, it wasn’t followed by the playful roll of your eyes that you usually gave someone to indicate you were joking. Clearly something had upset you and she was getting increasingly frustrated.
The raven tried easing your irritably by placing a cold hand on your warm thigh, trying to practice the gentle rubs that she typically knew you liked, and though you stiffened as usual under her touch it did nothing to soften your mood as your eyes darkly flitted away.
But that didn’t worry her. Wednesday wasn’t used to being worried, let alone emotions themselves. To the Addams, emotions were a tangled spiderweb that once trapped in became a struggle to navigate, distracting one from common sense and rationality. Yet, she still felt the uncomfortable prickling of sickening worry in her chest when she saw you actually tear up. And it was almost without reason. Nobody had spoken to you unkindly or done anything physically immoral, yet your eyes glistened and you pulled your hood over your head, dark eyes disappearing behind its frame as you did so. You were crying? Wednesday briefly wondered whether or not she’d seen you cry before, most certainly she hadn’t without explicable reason.
Your quiet sniffles seemed to be the only thing her brain would allow her to hear amidst the sound of students around you.
Instantly she gripped your wrist gently yet firmly, pulling you into a dark corner in the hall as she searched for your eyes under the hood. That prickle in her chest started to scratch as you huffed out stiffly, in a voice close to cracking. “What is it?”
Wednesday silently brought her hand up to your hood, pulling it down carefully to see your dark eyes swimming in tears, and she felt her voice soften just slightly at the sight of them as she murmured, “I wish to know what has been bothering you throughout the day. You’ve been distant and irritable.” You tried to look away but she gently pulled your chin back to look at her, feeling you shake under her grasp. “Cara Mia, I would like to know whether or not I have been the source of your…” the Addams struggled for the right word. “Current emotional status.”
You shook your head weakly. God, she could tell you were fragile. It was as if the slightest poke could set you off, and she knew she had to tread carefully. Her brain raced to remember everything Enid had taught her on… comfort. The idea was a personal ick but with you she would make an exception. “Would you like to leave?” Your weak nod was all the confirmation she needed as she laced her pinky into yours to subtly pull you through the crowd. God, she was disgusted by pda but you weakened her, and she despised you for it.
In the privacy of her dorm, the gentle rain slapping against the large window, she watched as you shakily exhaled, clearly fighting off your tears as you closed your eyes and struggled to speak. “Today has just…been… a lot. It’s- I- I can’t-“ your voice finally cracked slightly.
Wednesday stood opposite you for a moment, in thought as the scratching of worry in her heart began to pulsate into more of a pain. Not a pleasant pain that she usually experienced, rather a more unpleasant one at the sight of the tear that fell from your eye, hitting the floorboards and disappearing. She felt as if she’d always remember that oddly specific place on the floor from now on.
Stepping forwards she shoved aside all of her disgust and apathy for touch and wrapped her cold arms around your waist to pull you in, your head falling atop of yours as she muttered into your neck, “from what I do know about emotions I have heard that it is a rather healthy way to deal with them by crying.”
As if on cue from the touch and soft words she felt you slowly fall apart, quietly trembling as you cried silently, burying your face into her hair that she silently noted to wash later to get any snot out of.
She slowly brought you down to the floor with her, letting you cry as she tried her best to comfort you, tracing small patterns on your collarbone and neck, giving you small and delicate kisses here and there as to show that she was here with you. When your sobs began to ease she felt your weight press against her more, and she quickly put together that you were exhausted. She shushed you softly, letting you burrow into her as much as you needed. God, you were so warm, it was as if you were thawing the ice that she had worked so hard to freeze.
Although still not inclined to show any major affection, she did press a small cold kiss to your temple, letting you rest in her arms as your head shifted into your lap and her hand threaded its way into your hair, slowly and softly stroking in an effort to calm you down, finally the nagging confusion and frustration easing as you both fell into a calm, the rain providing a soothing atmosphere.
Perhaps Enid’s teachings had paid off.

meet me under the mistletoe
pairing xavier thorpe x reader
summary in which a “fool-proof” set up leads to a first kiss.
warnings first kiss. fluff. friends to lovers.
i no longer support percy hynes white and i do not write for xavier thorpe anymore.
Enid and Ajax have been clearly flirting. though they will deny it to god’s end, it’s obvious. they clearly have feelings for one another, wednesday even said that thing overheard them talking about it. they just won’t admit it to their friends.
however, enid and ajax would say the same about you and xavier.
even so, you and xavier came up with a fool proof plan. right in the doorway of his room, xavier placed mistletoe.
enid and ajax loved these kinds of cliches, as did you. hence the idea. all you had to do was get them to stand under it, and they’d kiss. they’d excuse it as “rules are rules.”
the pair of you were sitting on xavier’s bed, waiting for the others to arrive. you laid under his arm, scrolling through his phone extremely comfortably. you were really warm and safe there. xavier always made you feel that way.
there was a firm knock on the door, in a rhythm unmistakable to be wednesday.
you opened the door, and she was alone, staring directly at the green and red spring taped to the wood.
“mistletoe?”
“you enid and ajax, obviously,” xavier said, mocking her crude tone. wednesday peered up at him, looking more annoyed than usual, and walked in.
“seems good enough. enid definitely is the type to do that.”
you agreed, and went back to scrolling with xavier while wednesday read her notes from her most recent mystery.
the next knock was undeniably ajax. you, wednesday, and xavier all exchanged similar looks before you and the artist jumped up to the door.
you laughed as you both reached for the door handle, standing side by side. after a bit of silent bickering, xavier let you open the door and leaned against your back.
enid and ajax were standing scarily close to one another out in the hall. xavier had his goofy smile on his face, standing directly in the door.
you stood closer to him, still not letting the other couple in.
you hadn’t really thought this plan through.
“hey, mistletoe!” enid said, pointing directly above your heads.
you almost think you heard wednesday laugh.
“rules are rules,” ajax said. “gotta kiss, bros.”
you and xavier exchanged another look. you couldn’t tell if he wanted to laugh or cry, but he leaned into your ear.
“is that okay?” he asked, loud enough for only you two to hear.
“rules are rules, right?”
you back away slightly, enough for to bring your lips to xavier’s.
electricity coursed through your veins. your lips felt like puzzle pieces together. he tasted really nice, warm.
his hands found your hips quickly, and yours went to the nape of him neck and into his hair.
you don’t know how long you’d been standing there, but it must’ve been an embarrassingly long time.
“guys.”
xavier pulled away, “shit sorry, come in guys.”
enid giggled, slipping between the pair of you with ajax’s wrist in her hand.
xavier went to close the door and his arm flew around your shoulders like second nature. like they belonged there. he leaned back down,
“maybe what they say about us is right.”
“maybe it is, thorpe,” you said smugly, acting as though you disagreed. despite your tone, you leaned closer to xavier’s frame. “get that smile off of your face, enid.”

tysm and i hope you could understand this <33
distractions, distractions
summary | using your relationship with ajax, you're able to distract his attention during the poe cup
pairing | ajax petropolus x fem!reader
warning | fluff, ajax is down bad for reader
word count | 1.0k
“I can’t do that to him.” You looked over at Enid, distraught. “I know we want to win but I can’t do that to Jax.”
“Y/n, please.” Enid whined, snaking your shoulders, “This is our year and I don't want those jokers getting in our way.”
You turned towards their boat, seeing Ajax and the rest of them getting the final touches ready for the race. Just before you turned back, you saw that Ajax was now looking your way, “you're going down.” He mouthed towards you.
“You know what,” You smirked, turning back to Enid, “I’ll do it, I think they need a few pegs knocked down.
Enid was now practically screaming for joy, pulling you down towards the docks and into the boats. Getting into positions, you were at the head of the boat. Turning you saw Bianca and Divina already looking at you. Though the three of you were friends, it didn’t matter for the next hour because you needed to win. Turning your head to the other side, looking over at Ajax’s boat who was already looking at you.
Giving him a small smile, and blowing him a kiss, hoping to send him off his game before turning your attention back to the water.
Hearing the gun shoot into the air, the four boats were off. The four of you were making a good pace, knowing if you started off faster, you’d start to slow towards the end.
“Excuse me ladies!” You turned to your right seeing Xavier smirking, pushing themselves into your boat, turning you off the course. Grumbling under your breath, you picked up your pace. Getting caught with an ax over your boat, you all started to continue to row, hearing Wednesday to tell Thing to flip the switch on the neat under the boat.
Passing the Gold Bugs, you gave a little wave to Divina and Bianca finally making it to Raven’s Island. You and Wednesday were the two that were tasked to get the boat while Enid and Maria were to watch over the boat.
“C’mon Wednesday.” You yelled, hiding by one of the trees to catch Ajax. Nodding her head, you watched Wednesday continue through the trail, hearing two voices coming towards you.
“We’re gonna win it this year?” You heard Ajax hear, finally stepping out from the woods.
“I wouldn’t be so sure, love?” You smirked, staring down at him. Xavier just laughed, muttering something along the lines “you’re on your own” before running back towards the boat.
“You look so handsome.” You smoothed down the collars of his costume, “And the jester makeup looks so good.”
You could already tell you were getting to him, seeing his Adam's apple bob as he gulped down, his breath wavering.
“Y/n.” He whined, “I can’t do this right now.”
“You’re just gonna leave me here?” You faked a frown, “I thought you wanted to see me?”
Ajax could never leave you sad, his eyes widening as he started to rapidly shake his head. “No, no of course not.” He was conflicted, Ajax loved you with his whole heart and hated it when you were upset (not knowing you were faking it) but it was a competition and knew how much Xavier wanted to win.
Taking him out of his find, feeling you wrap your arms around him, you just hugged him tightly. Tucking his head in your neck, you smirked seeing Wednesday running back your way, she was able to run past the two of you without Ajax seeing her.
Parting ways, you just adjusted his wrap around his head, before running off back to the boats.
“Sorry Jax!” He heard you yell. Cursing himself, Ajax ran back to the boat, seeing how they were the only ones still on the island. Xavier was pissed along with the two other boys, who know had to haul themselves back to Nevermore.
“You are terrible Y/n.” You heard the monotone voice of Wednesday say, “It suits you.”
You took what she said as a compliment, turning around to see Ajax coming closer towards you, you were surprised that they were able to make it far without sinking.
“Hey, hey, what’s going on.” Bingo.
“I just thought to myself, WWWD, what would Wednesday do?” Enid said happily, knowing it was just the Black Cats and the Gold Bugs left. Seeing the finish line so close, you didn’t feel bad anymore about Ajax, knowing your final show would take the Gold Bugs out.
Rowing closer and closer to their boat, Wednesday flipped the second switch, the daggers coming out of the bed. But as they were to puncture their boat, you felt your own boat being sent back. Looking down in the water, you saw Kent pushing you away. Trying to paddle against him, you heard a small splash in the water, seeing a hand coming towards Kent.
“Good work, Thing.” You smile, the four rowing back to the Gold Bugs.
Watching Bianca’s face as you ruined the boat, made it feel good to know that you all won. Dismounting the boat onto the dock, you quickly tied it to the post before running with your team towards the finish line. The four of you jumped together with the flag in your hand.
Going back towards Nevermore, the entire student body stood in the Quad listening to Weems present you all with the trophy. Cheering with your friends, you looked out to the crowd, seeing Ajax smiling and clapping for you.
Yoko demanded that you all had a party in Ophelia for the win. It wasn’t hard to sneak out after curfew and you knew Weems would make the exception for the one night. The common room of Ophelia was packed with students from all the halls, the music loud, everyone dancing and drinking. You saw Enid practically gripping the trophy with all her strength.
“Congratulations.” You turned to see Ajax standing behind you, “Though we should have won.”
“Really?” You smirked, “because if I remember correctly, you guys couldn’t even make it halfway back.”
You were teasing him at his point, knowing why. “All is fair in love and war.”
“I’ll get you next time.” He swore, a playful glint in his eye.
“Of course, Jax, I’ll be looking forward to it, but can we dance now.”
Ajax just laughed softly, shaking his head, but obliging. Kissing you before pulling you towards all your friends.

pairings - wednesday x gn!reader
summary - Wednesday comes to you for advice and guidance with her stalker problem, and finally confesses
warnings - kissing, slight make out, fluff, kinda investigation, wednesday is so hot omg
————
It was a peaceful night at Nevermore Academy, not a sound could be heard, except for up in Apollo Hall. The soft ‘swoosh’ of a broom across wooden floors filled the large space as I did the weekly clean of my dorm.
I lived alone, well technically not, as I did have a roommate, but they never stayed here or even bothered to show up at the beginning of the semester, so I assumed that the dorm was mine for the taking. Maximus, my dorm parent, had said that he didn’t mind me having it to myself, but I needed to uphold the promise of keeping it in order just in case a new student comes along.
So here I was, ridding the space of all dust and grime. The faint sound of laughter flowed through my open window, probably coming from down in the quad. There was a late night party for the students who participated in the repair of the school, which was basically everyone. I was invited, but I’d rather be alone with my books than get drunk with the crowd. Everyone was down to do drugs and chug alcohol, which is why I was incredibly surprised to hear a swift knock at my door.
“Coming!” I called, placing the broom back into my supply closet before heading to the door. I opened it, only to be met with someone I would never expect to be at my doorstep.
Wednesday Addams, gloomy and attractive as always.
See, Wednesday and I have only interacted twice, so I was confused why she would be here at my door. The first time we met was at Eugene’s shed; I had gone there to get a jar of honey for my baking escapades, and Wednesday was there looming over a book of some sort. I had said hello, but all I received was a look and a nod.
The second time was with Enid; I was in their dorm helping her decorate a large poster board for her project on giant hawks when Wednesday arrived back from Hummers club. We made eye contact for a solid two-and-a-half seconds before she greeted Enid and went straight to her typewriter.
So for her to be standing in my doorway, arms full of papers and a black display board while her face looked bland as ever, was quite a shock to me.
“Wednesday, Hi.” I said, probably looking like an idiot.
Her eyes scanned my face before trailing down to the black apron I wore for cleaning. Instantly, my skin went red from embarrassment, and I scrambled to take it off.
“Sorry, I was in the middle of sweeping when you knocked.”
“That is fine, having a neat room shows me that you are at least cleaner than most.” Wednesday said, her voice a bit less monotonous than usual. “Can I enter?”
“I…of course!” I stammered, stepping aside so she could walk in.
I shut the door behind her, locked it, and turned to see her inspecting my walls. She moved around the room quite fast, her hand tracing along the ancient wood. Once she seemed satisfied, she placed her things on my bed and got to work setting up her display board.
“Uh, can I help with anything…?” I asked, sliding closer to see what she had.
She shook her head no and grabbed her papers to pin them up on the black panel, which is where I realized they were in fact photos of her. All of them were inconsistent, some with her by herself, others while she was with Enid or Xavier.
“Wednesday what-”
She slapped her hand to my mouth, glaring her dark eyes at me. “Be patient, you will see what I'm getting at.”
I obliged, keeping my eyes on Wednesday as she finished pinning the last of her photos. Once she was satisfied, she clasped my hand and pulled me back to see the full product. Red string trailed from each photo to a paper, which led to the center, a dark blurry figure.
We stared at it for a moment, basking in the silence. In our pause, I registered her hand in mine. Her skin was cold, but not in a repulsive way, it was more refreshing than uncomfortable. I was surprised, especially when her thumb gently traced the back of my hand.
“So, what am I looking at?” I asked, breaking the silence.
She went forward to inspect her work more closely, her hand sliding out of mine in the process. An empty feeling filled the air but I ignored it out of respect.
“Wednesday?” I asked again, coming up next to her.
“It seems that I have acquired a stalker.” She murmured, scratching her chin.
“I see that, but why did you come here?”
“Because I needed a consult.”
“What’s wrong with Enid? Xavier?”
Wednesday’s dark eyes snapped to mine, a glare clouding her face. She stared at me for a good few seconds before looking back at her board.
“Because of that picture.” She stated, pointing at one of her laying on her colorless bed, “I care for Enid and Xavier greatly, but this makes me paranoid.”
I nod, understanding her view, “How would they get a picture of you in your room?”
“A good question, but I'm not sure about the answer.”
“I see.”
Silence, again; Wednesday really likes to analyze, so I used this time to admire her.
One thing about her that I always found interesting about her was her face. While most people would say she is bland and psychotic, I fully disagree. She has always had this effect on me that I couldn’t quite pinpoint until now.
When we would pass in the hallway, I would get giddy and nervous, but as soon as she was gone those feelings diminished. We sit with each other in Creepy Creatures class, and I always get so scared to mess up on a test or choose dumb answers for homework in fear of repulsing her.
“Y/N.”
Wednesday’s voice snapped me out of my daydreaming, causing me to look down to her. Her dark, well-trained eyes searched my Y/E/C ones with curiosity.
“What were you doing?” She asked, peering up at me.
“Nothing! Just thinking about stuff.”
She hummed slowly, still staring at me. “Stuff.”
I nodded sheepishly and smiled, giving a tense shrug.
“Anyways, I had asked if you had any theories on who my despicable stalker could be.”
I thought for a moment, multiple possibilities filling my brain.
“Old family member?” I suggested.
Wednesday studied my face as she seemed to ponder about what I said. “Elaborate.”
I cleared my throat. “Distant relative. Has an issue with your family or you yourself. They want to scare you by taking stalkerish photos of you?”
“No, too easy.”
“How about a current student? Someone who is jealous of you and is trying to distract you from things about to happen?”
She pursed her lip at that one. “Maybe”
“Ooh! Or an old foe!” I said, now being very interested in the issue. “Someone you crossed and maybe have beaten in the past, they are back to scare you!”
I turned to see her slightly grinning at me, her eyes watching my every move. My face heated up and I giggled, scratching the back of my neck.
“Sorry, I love mysteries.”
Wednesday shook her head slightly, giving me an ever so small smirk. “That’s okay, investigating is cute on you.”
“Really?” I said, a blush covering my cheeks.
“Yes, it's terribly annoying.”
“Sorry.”
She scoffed, shaking her head; her eyes met mine with a fiery glaze. She was studying me again, taking in my features so they would have an imprint in her brain. I learned that Wednesday would do that so she could remember who she saw in a day in case of an unfortunate event happening.
“You are incredibly naive.” Wednesday said, tracing her fingers across a photo of her and I in botany class.
I cocked my head to the side in confusion. What did that mean? Was I supposed to pick up on something? Did she ask me another question?
“What do you mean?” I asked with caution.
Her shoulders dropped as her head drooped sadly. Cringing a slight bit, I backed away in fear that I said something wrong.
“I keep throwing signals in your direction but you are to blind to see my attempts; unless I’m just bad at flirting.”
I looked stupid, very stupid. My mouth was hanging open while my eyes squinted in thought.
“You…have a thing for me? Like a crush?”
“Yes, I have gained an attraction to you.” She said, watching for my reaction.
“Oh.”
“Are you disappointed?”
“What? No.”
“Then angry.”
“Wednesday, wait.” I said, shushing her before she started assuming the worst.
She stared, her eyes never leaving mine. Our gaze seemed to create a thin spark between us as we had a silent conversation through facial expressions. My thoughts took a pause when I saw her dark orbs flicker down to my lips, her own parting slightly.
“Can…can I kiss you Y/N?” Wednesday asked tentatively whilst rocking on her feet.
I smiled, reaching out to grab her hands.
“Call me Y/N/N.”
And with that, our lips met in a fiery blaze. Her’s were soft and delicate, yet surprisingly delicious. She tasted sweet like lemonade but with a hint of mint. My hands traveled down to her waist, pulling her closer to me so I could kiss her more properly.
We broke for air, but she dove right back in with a ferocious demeanor. I felt the prodding of her tongue begging for access into my mouth, which I happily accepted. As soon as she got clearance, she set to work exploring every crevice with curiosity. The way her tongue would slide against mine created a bubbly feeling in my stomach, which only grew when she decided to cup my face.
I pulled back, a string of spit dangled between us. Giggling, I wiped it away and planted a soft peck to her cheek.
“Now I can brag that I made out with Wednesday Addams.” I snickered, burying my nose into her neck.
Suddenly, a sharp jab of a fist collided with my stomach, causing me to clutch it in discomfort.
“Tell anyone and I will rip you off at your mid-section.” She stated before pulling me into her for a tight hug.

'Oh shut up'
xavier thorpe
Pairing: Xavier Thorpe x artist!reader
Warnings: none i think, fluff?, once mentioned reader being a girl but honestly can also be read as gn!reader
Summary: Xavier sees one of the drawings you made of him and makes you flustered
Word count: 578
Request: yes, this ask
Not proofread!
I apologize, if this is poorly written. My first language isn't english so there could be a few mistakes. Also a few sentences may not make sense at all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While almost every other student is in Jericho, walking through the streets, talking with friends and maybe also getting to know some normies you were staying at Nevermore. It's not like you wanted to stay there but you just didn't want to go to the city. And because it wasn't allowed to go into the woods (eventho no one really cares if you do) your only option was to distract yourself while being in the Academy.
And here you are, in your dorm, wanting to start a new drawing. You, same as your boyfriend Xavier, are an artist. You always expressed your thoughts and feelings in drawings. It doesn't matter if it was when you were a child and drew on your wall to show your parents you were mad or when you feel incredibly calm and a beautiful landscape would come out.
So now that you feel kind of bored you look around your room just for your eyes to land on a sketch you drew weeks ago. It's one of the many of your boyfriend. A dreamy smile appears on your lips and the thought that you could start yet another sketch of him.
so you got to work.
Tumblr media
After a while you hear a few voices coming from outside and you flinch. The students are apperantly back.
The next second the door to your dorm is being ripped open and the laugh from your roommate echoes through the room right at you.
'Y/nnnn, your lover boy is waiting for youuu.', Valencia, your roommate, kind of sings.
you turn around, nod while smiling at her and go for the door. You open the door and right in front of you is standing your lovely boyfriend with a lopsided grin on his lips.
'Hello lover boy.', you smile at him. He smiles back.
'Hello lover girl.', he snakes his arms around your waist and pulls you towards him. 'I missed you.', he bumps your nose with his and kisses it afterwards.
'You don't see me for a few hours and you already miss me? What happens when we're apart for the vacactions? You will go crazy without me?'
'something along those lines, yeah.'. he leans down to your level and gives you a peck on the lips. 'So, you're gonna let me in before a teacher comes, or not?'
'Sure, yeah. Of course.'
Having forgotten about the sketches (you have never ever shown Xavier one you drew of him) you lead him into the dorm, while your roommate kinda gets the hint and goes out. Obviously not before saying 'use protection, idiots.'
'Whoa', Xavier looks at the drawing of him you have pinned on your wall and smiles. 'You make me look so hot babe.'
You spin around and see him looking at the sketch. 'Oh, no that's nothing. Not important.'
You try to get him to look away from the drawing, sadly unsuccessful.
'Come on, Xavier. You don't have to look at it.'
'Don't be ashamed, it's a masterpiece, honestly.'
'Oh shut up, you idiot.', you look away from him, flustered.
You feel two arms around your waist, both of them pull you a bit backwards. You feel Xavier kissing your neck and he whispers in your ear: 'You're so talented sweetie. Stop being so embarrassed.'
'I love you.', you whisper back and turn your head towards his.
'love you more.'
'Impossible.', you tilt his head down and kiss him short but sweetly on the lips.

Xavier Thorpe x F!Reader
When Xavier's girlfriend is dared to kiss Ajax, he feels the need to show her who she belongs to
Implied Smut, Jealous Xavier, Fluff

"I dare you to kiss Ajax."
The Gorgon blushed as Y/N's eyes widened. Xavier ducked his head, his face hidden by his long hair. His stomach twisted in a way he didn't like at the thought of his girlfriend kissing another guy. His eyes shifted up and locked with hers. He gave her a subtle nod, unable to use his voice.
Y/N swallowed and crawled towards Ajax who looked like he accidentally stoned himself again. She sat back on her legs with her hands in her lap.
"Is this okay?" she whispered.
He adjusted his beanie and nodded.
Y/N leaned in and gently pressed her lips to his in a chaste kiss.
Xavier clenched his jaw, the unsettling feeling sitting heavy in his chest. It just a game, he kept repeating in his head.
She pulled away and gave Ajax a friendly smile before she returned to her seat.
"Xavier?" she asked when she looked over at her boyfriend and saw how tense he was.
Xavier grabbed her wrist and stood up, pulling her to her feet.
"We're leaving," he said in a deadpan that would rival Wednesday Addams.
"Oh okay."
He led her to his dorm room. As soon as the door closed behind them, he cupped her face and pinned her against the wood as he captured her lips in a breathtaking kiss.
A small squeak escaped her before she fell into it. Her hands coming up to grab his hoodie to pull him closer. Y/N let out a small moan as they made out.
The kiss broke when the need to breathe became necessary.
"Xavier? Not that I'm complaining, but what's gotten into you?"
He closed his eyes and leaned his forehead against hers.
"I didn't like watching you kiss another guy," he confessed. "I know it was just apart of the game, but it made me sick."
“Why didn’t you say anything? I wouldn’t have done it if I knew it made you so upset.”
Xavier shrugged. “I didn’t want to embarrass you.”
Y/N reached up and cupped his face. “You could never embarrass me, Xav. Next time just tell me, okay?”
He nodded. “Yeah. Next time I will.”
She leaned up and kissed the tip of his nose which made him smile.
“You know,” she started as she played with the zipper of his hoodie. “You staking your claim, is kind of hot.”
“Yeah?”
She nodded. “I like being reminded I’m yours.”
Xavier leaned in and kissed her like it would be his last time. He reached down and grabbed the back of her thighs to lift her up. Y/N wrapped her legs around his waist as he carried her to his bed.
The kiss broke when he laid her down. Y/N clenched her thighs together and bit her bottom lip as she watched him shrug off his hoodie. Xavier tossed it to the side before he pulled his t-shirt over his head.
Y/N spread her legs as he climbed over her. He settled between her thighs and cupped her face.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
She let out a soft moan when he started to kiss her. His lips trailed from hers to the crook of her neck. She whimpered when he gave her skin a little nip.
"Please mark me," she begged and tossed her head back to offer him a canvas. "Remind everyone I'm yours, Xavier."
He cursed under his breath and buried his face into her neck to fulfill her request... over and over again, until her skin was covered and they were both satisfied.
"You're mine."

Hi! I saw you wanted some Xavier requests.
So here I am with an idea 💡
So basically the reader helps Wednesday investigating and they get to Xavier's shed. He found them and Wednesday comes up with the excuse that the reader wanted to ask him to the Rave'n. A detail is... the reader "hates" him a lot😜🤘
Hope you like the idea. I haven't seen it done yet..🤷🏻‍♀️😂
hardest to love
xavier x fem!addams!reader
summary: after wednesday drags you to xavier’s art shed, you accidentally end up with a date to the rave’n.
warnings: enemies to lovers 🤭, swearing, fluff ending
i made this addams!reader because i thought it fit perfectly, no physical descriptions used tho!
AHHHH I LOVED WRITING THIS I HOPE ITS GOOD
Tumblr media
“i cannot believe you dragged me out here.” you rolled your eyes, leaves crunching under your boots.
wednesday had practically begged you to come to xavier’s art shed with her. she insisted he had some sort of connection with the monster she was hunting.
“quit your complaining, it’s giving me a headache. and not the good kind.”
she had picked the lock to the shed and opened the door. you followed after her, seeing hundreds of drawings hung around the room.
“i told you.” wednesday exclaimed, showing off the illustrations of the same monster over and over again, the one wednesday claimed to see the night rowan died.
“this doesn’t make any sense-“
“i think it makes perfect sense. xavier and rowan were roommates, xavier was there the night rowan was attacked.”
as much as you didn’t like xavier, you also didn’t like how wednesday would go around throwing accusations.
you and xavier had immediately got off on the wrong foot. ever since the first day of school, he accidentally made a comment you didn’t like.
the dislike just grew the more he tried to hang around wednesday. you wanted to keep your family safe, much to wednesday’s dismay.
wednesday started gathering some of the drawings to use for evidence. “put them back, wednesday-“
“no. i need these.”
you and wednesday started bickering. all of a sudden, you heard leaves start crunching. “we need to leave.”
you exited the shed and wednesday followed after you. you two tried to silently walk away, but the stupid leaves made it almost impossible.
who the hell makes an art shed in the middle of the woods?
“y/n? wednesday?” xavier called out after you.
the two of you turned around almost instantly. wednesday stuck the drawings behind her back as she pursed her lips.
your stomach flipped with nerves. xavier approached you both suspiciously.
“what are you guys doing here?” he asked.
you were about to speak when wednesday blurted out, “y/n wanted to ask you something.”
“huh?” you said confused, wednesday kicking your leg.
xavier’s eyebrows furrowed at you two.
“about the dance…” wednesday trailed off. it was very difficult for her to hide her amusement at the look on your face.
“right…” you rolled your eyes.
“oh?” xavier smirked.
while you didn’t like xavier, the feeling was one sided. he had tried to apologize multiple times to you, but you never listened.
“are you really going to make me say it?” you asked through gritted teeth, heart pounding in your chest. your hands were shaking.
“oh, absolutely.” xavier grinned.
“w-“ you started. the words just didn’t want to come out of your mouth.
“will…”
“take your time.” wednesday whispered loudly. xavier laughed and you wanted to crawl into a hole and die.
“will… y-you… go tothedancewithme?”
you rushed the last part out. you felt like you were going to faint as xavier looked you directly in the eyes.
“i’m sorry, could you repeat that?” xavier teased.
“i’m not repeating it.” you replied in a hostile yet embarrassed tone. your face was extremely hot.
“yes. i thought you’d never ask.”
“neither did i.” you mumbled to yourself.
➽─────────────────❥
you were beyond pissed at wednesday. pissed was an understatement.
“i cannot believe you made me ask! don’t you ever think, wednesday?” you were pacing around your room.
your normal calm nature was completely rattled.
but you weren’t the only one rattled.
xavier couldn’t believe you had asked him to the rave’n. ajax sat on xavier’s bed as xavier paced back and forth.
“i mean- why would she ask me?”
“maybe she secretly likes you, dude.” ajax replied.
xavier kept rambling on about your behavior and how sudden it was.
you were doing the same to wednesday. she was miserable as she wrote her novel.
“as much as i love to hear you in pain, could you please be quiet?”
“no! this is your fault, all because you’re obsessed with some stupid monster.”
“and you’re not obsessed with the idea of xavier thorpe taking you to the rave’n? hmm? don’t even lie, y/n. i see you stare at him in class. your cold demeanor will soon drop.”
➽─────────────────❥
you dreaded the day until the rave’n. what didn’t help, was thing insisted you wear a black gown to stand out.
“why am i even going?” you sighed. you sat on your bed with your head in your hand, staring down at the gorgeous black silk.
thing had even stolen a matching pair of black heels.
“i invited tyler to go with wednesday.” thing signed to you. immediately your mood changed knowing wednesday would be as miserable as you.
thing quickly signed to you to get dressed. you groaned, grabbing the gown and shoes. thing turned around as you slid the silk up your soft legs, a mid-cut v neckline that showed just the slightest cleavage.
you looked in the mirror and couldn’t even deny how good you looked.
thing then motioned for you to sit down. thing then proceeded to fix up your hair and gave you a nice necklace.
“thank you, thing.” you gave the hand a little kiss. thing signed, don’t mention it.
and there was a knock on the door. all the weight of the world just crashed down on you within two seconds.
“shit, shit, shit.” you swore as thing went over to open the door.
you spun around nervously and tried to find a place to hide. “woah.”
you pursed your lips as you turned around slowly. xavier, dressed in all white, looked at you in awe. he was holding a corsage.
“you look-“
“thanks.” you nervously held your hand out and he slipped the corsage on. you couldn’t help but notice his own shaking hands.
you shut the door behind you both. there was an awkward silence as xavier struggled to find something to talk about.
meanwhile, you were struggling to walk in your heels. “you okay?”
xavier motioned to your awkward walk.
“heels are the worst. they torture your feet, and not in a fun way.”
xavier smiled at you, offering his arm.
you hesitantly accepted. when his warm arm met your cold one you both swore some sort of electricity went off.
the walk through the quad was almost embarrassing. the weird looks everyone gave you as you walked with xavier.
it only got worse when you walked into the dance. “you guys look amazing!” ms thornhill complimented.
xavier thanked her, sensing your uncomfortable stature and brought you off to the side.
“do you see wednesday?” you asked him over the loud music.
you needed to talk to her.
“is that-“ xavier nodded towards where wednesday stood awkwardly with tyler.
you left xavier without a second word, striding over to wednesday. her blank gaze met you and she walked away from tyler to meet you in the dance floor.
“this is worse than a wedding.” wednesday said in disgust.
“i see thing got you back for what you did to me.” you motioned over to tyler, dressed in all white, standing there watching you two.
“thing was out to humiliate me. i at least saved us.”
you blinked at wednesday.
“someone misses you…” she motioned over to xavier looking at you like a sad puppy. he was talking to ajax, but his eyes never left yours.
“i guess we should get back to our dates.” you sighed.
“unfortunately.” wednesday agreed.
➽─────────────────❥
goo goo muck played loudly from the speaker.
you watched as wednesday did her dance with tyler, not even noticing your own body began to sway with the beat.
“wanna dance?” xavier asked.
you stared at him before nodding slowly.
if wednesday was dancing, you can dance too, right?
your body moved with the beat, the crowd forcing you and xavier tightly together.
it was freaky how close you two were. he moved his shoulders to the beat, eyes looking straight into yours as you did the same.
unbeknownst to you, everyone could feel the sexual tension between you too.
xavier’s body language quickly met yours and before you knew it, you danced together in a rhythm that surely anyone in a two feet radius could sense.
your face was mere inches from his, hands brushing against each other as you moved.
and you couldn’t even deny how good xavier looked. under the strobe lights, his hair slicked back into a bun, his white suit.
and before you could realize it, your lips were centimeters away. his lips slightly grazed yours, his big hand coming up to cup your jaw.
but as soon as xavier was about to connect your lips, the sprinklers started to go off releasing red substance everywhere.
“what the hell?” xavier groaned, the liquid getting all over his suit and face.
you stuck your finger into your mouth, xavier watching you in shock.
“paint.”
people screamed as they slipped onto the wooden floor. everyone made a run to the doors, the night ruined.
but for xavier, the only thing that was ruined was the fact he almost kissed you.
“let’s get outta here, yeah?”
you nodded at xavier as you held onto his arm once more. he led the two of you outside and into the quad where nevermore students stood upset.
“i have a spot where we can clean the paint up.”
➽─────────────────❥
xavier took you back to his art shed. the drawings and paintings you previously saw with wednesday were now gone.
you stood silently, watching xavier wipe the paint off his face and neck.
he removed his suit jacket, leaving him in his white button up and pants. the buttons to his shirt were slightly undone, leaving some of his chest exposed.
“you know, i never got to ask. why did you hate me so much?”
xavier was now staring at you. you felt nervous under his gaze.
“it wasn’t hate. it was dislike. i did not like the comment you made about my family in the beginning of the year.”
“it wasn’t meant to come out that way, y/n.”
“but it did. it did to me.”
xavier walked up to you. his piercing blue eyes stared directly into yours. you felt chills run down your body.
“i’m sorry.”
and you could tell he meant it. you’d never seen such a sincere look in someones eyes before.
“can i?” he motioned to the clean rag he lifted slightly above your face.
you nodded hesitantly.
xavier carefully ran the rag along your cheeks, nose, and forehead.
he stopped when he got to your lips, a strange look in his eye.
seeing the way he looked at you made you realize that everything was just one sided.
and with that realization, you grabbed xavier’s waist and pulled him into you.
xavier immediately kissed you, dropping the rag as he cupped your face.
you’d never experienced such passion, let alone in a kiss.
the electricity you seemed to feel appeared to get stronger, and maybe a couple sparks would fly.
but that didn’t matter, because xavier had finally got you. and you finally got what you never realized you needed.

PS — english is not my first language and I use a correction app for a lot of things so please be gentle on me 😭 esp if the pov suddenly changes because i can’t catch mistakes sometimes!!
Tumblr media
Your heart was hammering against your ribs in a pathetically rapid manner. You hated confrontations, the said action always leading to heated arguments with the unfortunate way you manage to handle bubbling situations. But what else were you to do?
An entire event. Almost the entirety of the dance was of complete silence and harsh glares from Xavier’s end after he saw you laugh along the arms of Tyler. It was a misunderstanding to be fair. You’d fallen on the paint covered ground of the dance floor and he’d helped you up after cracking a joke. You know as the best friend of the boy he’d assaulted that you should’ve declined his help and looked for Xavier, but he’d been stressing about Wednesday for the past week that you’d entirely forgotten any sort of friendship had been formed between the both of you.
“Fine, ignore me all you will but don’t act like you haven’t abandoned me for the past three weeks since the beginning of the year Xav-”
He aggressively wiped down the faux blood from his eyes, staring at you with what you can only assume was growing hatred, “Y/n, I am currently being accused of being a deadly monster that hurt his own friends, forgive me for trying to figure out why an Addams of all people, would come to this conclusion.”
Your frown deepens. That he never told you, so you’d went on to assume that he’d harboured a crush on her — which to be fair, you’d understood but also didn’t appreciate. “You never told me that, why do you never tell me anything anymore?”
“Great, somehow this is my fault and I’m to blame for trying not to have you worry, thanks Y/n, wonderful speaking with you.” And with that, he’d stormed off to the direction of his dorm, leaving your mouth agape and speechless as students scurry off with dramatic screams and painted dresses.
You didn’t like the way the conversation had ended, your core sprinkled with guilt as you let the immature side of your heart take over you back then. Looking around with no other place on your mind, you follow a trail you’d left before to his shack. If there is a chance he could ever be locked up, you’d want to be the only person to decrease it. So while shuffling the bottom of your dress into your arms, you slip your heels off as you run into the darkening woods.
Tumblr media
His knees shook violently on the side of the bed. The night had passed since your argument, and by now you would normally come knocking on his door with a batch of apology cookies from the store that you’d claimed to bake.
But it was stillness from your side, no calls, no Enid speaking on your behalf; and it distressed his mind endlessly. Xavier was aware that he wasn’t fully at fault; but still partly to blame for your own careless actions, and so his heart weighed heavy on his chest since your absence. With swift movement, he’d clutched his phone, drying his hair once more with a towel before leaving his dorm in hopes to catch up with you quickly.
Walking through the halls, eyes landed on him in oddly intense stares. He cleared his throat as he slid his way past multiple pupils. “What is it with everyone today,” he murmured to himself, light drops of sweat catching onto his eyebrows furiously as he spotted a weeping Enid being comforted by Yoko on the other end of the hall — with a straight-faced Wednesday staring with a perplexed look upon the two.
The blonde caught sight of him, jumping up from her position to have her hands land on the taller boy’s shoulders. “Oh Xavier I’m so sorry, she just left and didn’t tell any of us where she was going. But i promise she’s going to be okay, she’s Y/n she’ll be fine!”
A heavy sigh left him as he felt a headache sneaking up on him, and his breathing race quicker at the mention of your name in a depressing manner. He gulped, throat dry and hands clenching a fistful of the ends of his shirt. “What are you talking about? What happened to Y/n?”
At that, the vampire and werewolf had plastered similar expressions on all of their faces, and it frustrated him even more. Wednesday’s lips tugged upwards in a smirk, tilting her head agonisingly before speaking up. “Incredible. One would assume that you would be the first to know that your supposed ‘best friend’ was caught in the hands of the Hyde yesterday after the dance…was it not after a quarrel you two were having or am I wro-”
The words were cut off after Enid smacked her arm with a shriek and an alarmed face of shock, a frown on her lips as she watched Xavier’s mood shift from frustration to clear raging fear. It was his fault.
“She’s not dead,” Yoko spoke up, “She was in the infirmary with a couple face scratches and a past bleeding womb. It wasn’t bad enough for an urgent ride to the hospital, so she’s currently residing in her own dorm passed out from exhaustion.”
The Thorpe’s nods were faded as he was lost in his own head, horrible theory’s of your current well-being jumping one another in a consistent manner to assault his thoughts. Hands visibly shaking as quick as his ragged breaths, he uttered a low thank you to the trio before his feet were painfully dragging him to your direction.
Anger. Hurt. Confusion. All piled upon him like a sudden crashing wave when he’d reached your door. What do they mean you’re not left in a hospital? Did you not deserve better care? Better care than what he could’ve possibly offered? Too busy allowing his thoughts to consume him and wallowing in his own misery, he flinched when the door jiggled open — your tired yet bright figure gazing at him strangely.
“Y/n…” he whispered, your name igniting a fire in the pit of his stomach. Xavier’s pale hands were clutching the hot chocolate and food he’d picked up on his way here for you, hands burning but your presence numbing it all. You smiled teasingly, already knowing why he’s here before stepping backwards and letting him inside.
Licking your lips, you watched as he set the bag and cup on your desk table before your back softly hit the wall behind you in a sudden movement. Lavender engulfing your senses, your favourite, as his arms wrapped around you in a soothing matter; as if you were the most fragile thing left in this world right now, and in his eyes you most definitely were.
“Am I here to comfort you or is it the other way around Thorpe?” Your tone was light hearted, joking with him in hopes of forgetting what had occurred before hand but it brought him back to his senses. Xavier let you go swiftly and his lips curled up as yours were pursed. “Why are you stupid enough to leave out to the woods, almost in the middle of the night, with nothing to protect you?? Did you seriously not think that through?”
Sighing, you reached out for the mug of delicacy behind him, huffing before thinking carefully of your next words. “I did it on purpose asshole. My whole intention was to get hurt.”
“What?” He blinked once, then twice awaiting for your explanation that left him agitated in his spot but he couldn’t find it in himself to rush you as you consumed your drink and dug through the bag of food. You looked so weak at the moment, skin pale from the medication he spotted near your drawer — enhancing the glint trickling in your eyes and the soft colour of your lips. A rippling sense of calmness flooded his senses watching you eat, ignoring the bruises piled up near the end of your eyes for his own sake and sanity.
“Hmm sorry, i’m just hungry. They’ve fed me nothing but soup the whole day — yuck,” coughing, you continued, “You would never hurt me no matter how angry you are at me Xav. Even if i trashed your Art shed again — still immensely sorry about that — you’re nothing but gentle with me and I just wanted to show that you’re just as kind hearted with everyone else, that you’re not Hyde.”
It clicked in his brain. If he were Hyde you would not have seen a scratch trailing your body. Further connecting the dots he realised as to why Wednesday had not bothered him either by the time he woke up, she knew he was innocent. He wouldn’t be locked up anytime soon and it was all because of you. His gaze was soft as it trailed up and down your figure.
That had been the kindest thing anyone had ever bothered to do for him, and his suppressed feelings leapt with euphoria at your selfish act. He stepped closer his hands tracing the scratch above your lips.
Your mouth went dry, dropping the bagel back into the brown bag absentmindedly as you watched his eyes land on the scar remaining above your lips. “Xav, listen I really am sorry. I didn’t think about you and Tyler, and I didn’t think I’d have to go this far-”
Xavier ignored your apology, muttering a low ‘shut up’ before he found his lips atop of your own. His hands cradled your face tenderly, and the gentle action caused you to inwardly sigh and kiss him back, a train of butterflies exploding within your stomach. His hands traced circles on the side of your cheeks, a small smile adorning his lips when you’d returned the romantic action.
“I can’t kiss you back if you’re going to smile,” you said after pulling a way, a light giggle leaving your own lips when he let out a quiet laugh. “Sorry, my bad L/n,” he apologised, “It’s going to be serious from now on, no laughing matter.”
You nodded, going along with the joke. “Intimate actions are of utmost seriousness Xav!” You pointed a finger at his chest and poked him. “Oh absolutely,” he chuckled, his lips finding home near your own once more, before pecking the marks that were tainted on your skin.

More than friends, a little more than lovers x.t. (p.2)
Tumblr media

pairing: xavier thorpe x gn!reader
summary: nevermore's favorite "tortured" couple has separated and the school walks around on glass waiting to see the outcome.
warnings: fluff, angst, love triangle (kinda) light swearing? not much tho, suggestive themes
word count: 1,858
part 1 part 3
——————————————————————————
It'd been three weeks since you and Xavier fell out of contact, in a way. You stopped stopping by his dorm nightly, you packed a smaller lunch, you sat next to anyone else in the classes you shared. And that little box? Kept under your bed? No new additions, still a secret (bar Val) but a little more dusty.
Every few nights or so, Val would catch you turning to face it's direction. You'd twist you'd turn, you'd reach but it'd falter. Your arm falls back down and you'd turn around in the other direction. Soon you stopped taking care of yourself as well. Obviously while keeping up appearances so no one bothered you. Val noticed though. She always knew what was up with you before you knew.
On the other side of the spectrum Xavier wasn't doing so well himself. Almost every night he spent at Ajax's dorm, crashing on a chair so not to oppose his roommate, or at his art studio. Turns out deep in the woods with nothing else but his feelings and his art, really sparks the inspiration.
His inspiration was you. Ceiling, to wall, to floor it was you. Any part of you that he remembered was everywhere. Nothing to disgrace your dignity, of course. The only dignity getting ruined was his. If anyone saw any of his work recently they'd call it a stalker obsession with you. He hated himself for not noticing earlier. For losing you. Every night he remembers the week you pulled away. Then he remembers the months before that when he pushed you away.
——————————————————————————
"Hey, how were classes?" He ran up to you after catching a glimpse of you in the halls.
"Fine," You said so quietly he almost missed it.
"You okay?" The slight crinkle between his brows made your stomach turn in a good way and a bad one, you couldn't do it anymore.
"Great." With that you disappeared.
——————————————————————————
You opened the door to Botany class, the overbearing replacement for Ms. Thornhill welcomed you when you showed up right after class was supposed to start. Mumbling an apology, your eyes caught Xavier's and he nodded with his head for you to sit down.
Instead of taking your normal place by his side you sat down next to Yoko far away from him. You spent the whole class period ignoring his gazes and attempts to get your attention. You had sped so fast once the bell rang to leave a gust of wind passed by you.
Twisting and turning through the corridors to make it to your next class a gentle hand gripped around your elbow and pulled you into the empty classroom next to you.
"What's up with you?" Xavier closed the door behind him and moved to stand next to you.
"Nothing's up with me," you tried to turn and escape him but he blocked your path each time.
"Somethings up," he grabbed your arm to keep you in place. "First you don't show up last night and then you don't sit next to me in class? What's going on?" His head kept moving to try and place itself in your line of sight.
"If you don't know what it is by now, it's obviously nothing!" Trying to keep yourself calm you rip your arm out of his grasp and ran out the door. To keep yourself hidden, you used the late Principal Weems ability and shifted into a random student so he couldn't recognize you.
Xavier rushed out of the classroom and stood in the hallway, getting pushed and shoved students annoyed he was blocking the way. If you were even there, or turned back to see him, you would've noticed the way he searched for you. The way his head shook as he rubbed the back of his neck. The sound a nearby locker made after the front of his boot made connection with it. The groan that left his mouth as he rubbed the top of his shoe trying to bring circulation back in his toes.
——————————————————————————
"Hey Xavi! How you doin'?" you asked so positively, smiling widely and so radiantly. Looking back now, he wished he could have actually seen your face. Looking back now, he wished he actually looked at you. All he can remember was anything from his peripheral. Which is not a lot.
"I'm fine," he mumbled looking down at his phone, and then all around him. He was restless.
"Fine as in bad or fine as in good?" you tried to press. You shuffled and adjusted so now you were laying upside down next to him.
"Fine as in fine." He looked down to his phone once more, and the clock struck midnight. And just like Cinderella and her shitty little shoe, he ran to the window and opened just enough to hear...
Wednesday.
Wednesday on her dumb little cello.
It was unfair that she was so talented, so good at playing the music. Of course he adored her, who wouldn't?
"It's so... melodic," Xavier basically swooned out the window. Remember those cartoons, when the character smells a pie or something and floats around following the aroma? Welcome to the dumb stupid look on Xavier's face.
"She's playing the melody of... the Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 remixed with Lady Jane by The Rolling Stones that's why its melodic." You looked at him like he was genuinely and idiot. "It's written to sound like that."
He completely ignored you.
——————————————————————————
Classes were tense. It was even as if the teachers knew something was up, which they probably did. You couldn't tell if it was comforting or strange how the distance between you two effected the school. At least you knew you weren't crazy now, other people thought they had something too. You're not alone in your delusion, yippie.
It was night again, and you fell into the same delusional habit as you did every night. Yet this time Val said something.
"Doll, I adore you. You know this," She starts pulling you down onto her bed as you walked passed. "So all of this is out of love, get your shit together!" She smothered a pillow into your face and laid her whole body weight onto you.
"Which shit this time?" You rolled her off you and slapped her in the stomach.
"The Xavier one," she turned over to face you.
"Oh for the last time-" You started before it earned you a solid slap on the arm.
"Shut up you're literally living in a pipe dream, Xavier is everything to you just kiss and make up already! It's painful to watch you sulk like this," Val squeezed your cheeks together and slapped the side of your face.
Tapping right back into your favorite mimic powers, you quickly grew a two fangs and your eyes glowed red as you barred your teeth at her. She hated cringe acts that felt like they came right out of a CW show.
"Yes, please, bite me my mystical dark overlord!" She pretend purred at you and slapped your stomach once more real hard. Hard enough to make you groan and suck the fake fangs right back in. "I'm a vampire slut, you can not scare me with my own tactics."
That night, you turned on your side once more and thought, maybe it was a good idea to pursue. That night, when you considered floating that little box under your bed that felt so scary to think of, you did. And you traced the outlines of a photo you drew of him, watching it move and watching his smile grow as he turned to face the foreground.
——————————————————————————
Maybe it had been three days since you considered making up with Xavier. Maybe you still hadn't done anything about it but consider, that's regardless of the point now.
It had been however, three days since you unblocked him and stopped throwing away the letters and drawings he sent you begging to apologize.
You looked at him once. In class, across the room from him you felt his burning gaze fester on the side of your head. So you looked. And his eyes widened. And some color rose back in his face. And the corners of his lips twitched up. And his iris' got smaller as his pupils widened at the sight of you.
It felt like a dream, right out of a movie scene. Damn Mr. Winston and his last 30 minuets of free time in this dumb poetic writing class. He was young, he understood what it was like to be in high school so he was very laid back. Because of this your headphones were in, and your women-crush-Wednesday (no pun intended) Taylor Swift played in your head. Wonderland.
She really could write something for every situation you could find yourself in. Xavier and his student green eyes and that cheshire cat smile. Caught in this trance, staring in his eyes, you nodded. Quietly you mouthed, Okay.
The life that filled his whole body at your silent confirmation was enough to fill you with a sense of hope. Maybe you were wrong. Maybe the situation was much more different than you thought.
"tonight?" he texted you quickly. "9pm?"
"nightshade library." you sent back.
He looked back up at you and smiled lightly, sadly.
A new type of ecstasy filled your veins at the prospect of tonight. Things will change, you hoped. Things will change, you were sure of it.

"Okay, I'm going." You breathed out standing in front of the door. The handle felt menacingly cold when you reached for it.
"Wait, love wait!" Val stumbled out of bed and twisted you around to face her. Smoothing out your clothes and fluffing your hair, "I am so proud of you my girl. This is insanely brave of you, now go, go!" She kissed the top of your head and pushed you out the door.
"Fuck him senseless! Don't let that skinny white boy top you, you're better than that!" She called out after you before shutting the door. You could hear her cackle from down the hall and you yourself laughed. Headphones were your saving grace at this point, calming the inner monologue.
The walk felt eternally long and frighteningly short. Way too soon you were at the statue, snapping twice, and walking down the stairs. He was already there. Xavier was pacing around in a line playing with all the rings on his fingers. Fidgeting was what he did when he was nervous.
The last click of your boots on the tile floor grabbed his attention. Maybe it was the lighting, but the second he turned around he looked worse for wear. You hadn't seen him like this in a long time. Not since he left for the summer last year, knowing he'd be stuck at home with his family, and away from you. Granted only until you two snuck away from your psychotic families, and ran away for the rest of the summer using your mimic ability to the fullest.
"Hi." You whispered, so quiet he could barely hear it. So familiar he prayed he'd never have to hear it again.
"Hey."

Hey! I really love your writings!
Can I request a Wednesday X reader where r has telepathy powers and Wednesday develops feeling for r and r reads her mind and asks her "do u wanna tell me something" butttt heres a little plot twist that Wednesday doesn't know what powers r has and weems didnt disclose it too.
U can make it angst or fluff or anything lol would love to read this idea.
A/N: feel like this is ass but I tried my best 😅😭
Your POV
Your head began to pound as the onslaught of voices filled your head. You desperately rubbed your temples hoping to ease some of the tension.
The amount of thoughts flooding your mind always a nuisance but even more so when you'd hear just how vapid and shallow most of them were.
Most of the guys just thinking about getting into the girls pants and most of the girls either caring far too much about looks or popularity. There were some minds you did take comfort in.
Eugene, for example, was currently worrying over hive 309. He feared that he'd miss the right moment to harvest their honey. He was also worried that he was showing too much favoritism and making the other hives jealous.
There was Enid, who while sometimes ditzy still held a great amount of optimism and purity that you couldn't quite find in anyone else.
Which was the complete opposite of her roommate, one Miss Wednesday Addams. You remembered the first time the goth had set foot here in Nevermore. Much like everyone else you were enamored by her looks, fearful of her history and excited at the thought of her bringing a change to your school. She was very much in a class of her own. Her thoughts were very much dark but you couldn't deny the truth they held. You admired her outlook on life, her intelligence and her whit, her thoughts almost always mirrored her words. Not quite an open book but not someone who wears a mask.
Said girl sat next to you, voice low as she whispered to you. "I have more clues towards our investigation."
The feeling of her lips grazing your ear sending a chill down your spine. You nodded quietly, eyes shifting towards Xavier's as his thoughts began to shift from admiration to jealousy. It was no secret he harbored feelings for Wednesday even the girl herself knew of them but she wasn't focused on relationships, she was focused on saving the school from a monster.
Perhaps she chose you because you didn't dismiss her when she'd said she had seen Rowan mauled by a monster. Or because you never seemed to push her past her own comfort zone. You had pledged your allegiance to her one night in the woods. She had saved you from dying so you felt you owed her. She had patched up some small wounds and even taught you some self defense.
"I refuse to have an incompetent partner."
She, as well as most of the school knew nothing of your powers and the fact that she saw you as an asset without it made you feel...special. She trusted you as her partner and you would
do anything to keep it that way. You were both currently in the coroners office looking for more evidence as you caught Wednesday staring at you.
"Is something wrong?" The goth blinked once before turning back to the task at hand. Your eyebrow furrowed as you focused on the girls mind.
....you're being ridiculous.
You shook your head before getting the body prepped, your eyes catching something the police failed to report.
"Wednesday look he's missing his left foot." The shorter girl stepped closer her shoulder brushing you as she did so. Her eyebrows raising slightly as Thing began tapping, catching both of your attention.
Wednesday shoved you on a gurney before climbing on top of you Thing closing you both in as he clambered his way into an empty skeleton.
The smaller girl pressed to you in the tight space made you nervous, your breathing growing heavy as you heard voices from the outside. She looked to you making a show to breathe quietly through her nose. You tried to do the same but your chest was heaving, "relax" she mouthed. You nodded trying to listen, her thoughts were imitating her words but the sudden addition of more people coming into the room increased your panic.Wednesday gritted her teeth before pulling you closer her dark eyes boring into yours.
You felt your breathing grow calmer the longer you stared. You tried to focus on the details of her face as her eyes never left yours.
She has freckles and long eyelashes.
Your eyes flicked down to her lips before they go back to her eyes. You leaned a bit closer making her eyes widen but she remained still.
A knock echoing through the crawl space as Thing opened the door indicating the three of you should leave while still undetected.
You both remained quiet as you went back to the school and to your dorms. A quick goodnight falling from your lips as you couldn't meet the smaller girls eyes.
For a few days following, Wednesday had avoided you, not like the plague as she'd probably enjoyed it but more so like rainbows or puppies.
You were currently eating in the library alone as you sensed a dark presence enter. You tried to slide further down your seat to seem smaller as you'd noticed the raven looking for something in particular.
I wonder if Y/N- Enough.
You watched her seethe and grit her teeth as she continued to scan the isles.
You need to get yourself in order. You don't need y/n they're just a distraction.
She'd repeat the mantra before she'd be distracted by something that would make her think of you. You found yourself pushing yourself away from her mind and running to your dorm.
Thing had tapped Wednesdays shoulder pointing in your direction. He had signed something that made the girl glare at him.
"I do not like Y/n." She spoke through gritted teeth. "And I don't need help."
The appendage fell back exasperated as Wednesday tried to keep herself focused. Once your face popped back into her mind she'd grow frustrated.
A sharp realization hitting her like a bolt of lightning.
The goth threw down her book and stormed her way to your dorm.
A thud had interrupted what you were doing hands shaking as you'd realize Wednesday Addams had stormed into your room.
"What are you?" The harsh tone and fury clear in the ravens eyes as you stared back confused.
"I never asked your power, yet somehow you always conveniently know when I require your assistance," she began as you felt yourself grow more nervous. "You always know when I need a tool, book, or item without my asking and-"
For some godforsaken reason you fester my thoughts.
"You seem to know how others are feeling without-" your hand shot out a single black dahlia. Wednesday felt herself stop short as she stared.
"Your favorite." You spoke softly as you stood up moving closer to her. "Wednesday I -"
You had to pause and clear your throat as you were unable to decipher the emotions swirling in her black irises.
"I like you. A lot. Your extremely intelligent, and while some may see it as arrogance I admire your confidence and bravery. You don't treat me as an outsider and make me feel important."
You took a deep breath as the girl still had yet to move, her thoughts around you for once completely silent.
"I catch myself thinking about you all the time and when you're not around it feels wrong. I know you're not big on romance but I-"
The smaller girl cut you off hand lifting as she placed a palm on your cheek. You felt your shoulders sag in relief that she didn't slap you.
"Emotions are for the weak but if I were to pick a spouse you wouldn't be the worst choice."
You felt a grin make its way to your face as her thumb began stroking your skin. You gulped as it hit you.
"Uh Wednesday I-" The shorter girl looked at you, the usual cold glare a soft gaze as she waited to hear what you had to say.
"I have telepathy." Her hand dropped from your face as her eyes widened.
For the first time in her life Wednesdays cheeks grew warm and her usual pale complexion had a tint of pink to it.
Shit.

Bloodied petals - Xavier Thorpe x reader | Part.6
Summary: It’s time for you to disclose the truth about your condition to Principal Weems…and Xavier. But how much of that are you willing to share? Parents’ week-end brings a surprising new meeting.
Warnings: angst, mentions of blood, swearing; mention of cancer and incurable diseases.
A/N: it almost has fluff parts if you squint. Also there’s a lot of dialogues in there fsjbfhbs
[Masterlist] [Part.1] [Part.2] [Part.3] [Part.4] [Part.5]
Tumblr media
Silence weighed heavy in the small hospital room. No one uttered a word, waiting for the other to speak first. Unfortunately for you, Principal Weems had a lot less patience than you.
Before your stubborn silence she let out a frustrated sigh. “Fine,” she said dryly, “if you don’t want to talk, then I will. Your fellow students found you passed out in the woods, allegedly coughing blood and flowers. We brought you to the ICU, and doctors performed a scan, because heart massages weren’t enough.”
Weem’s words made you gulp slowly, as they reminded you how far the disease had already spread. Although her tone was very serious, the principal couldn’t deny the evident worry in her voice.
“You almost died, miss L/N,” she said in a softer, yet very much serious voice. “Doctors had to put you under respiratory support for half an hour before you could breathe on your own.”
A shiver ran down your spine. Shit, this was way, way more concerning that you had thought. The principal seemed to notice the level of distress it put you in, and softened.
“According to Mr Thorpe, you had experienced a panic attack earlier in the evening, is that true?”
You could only nod slowly, throat tight with emotions.
“Doctors think it’s what caused momentary heart failure,” she carried on. “But the scan results certainly intrigued them.”
Your eyes unwillingly glanced down the x-rays on your lap, showing large flowers on the inside of your lungs quite clearly. This time you wouldn’t be able to hide the truth.
“I’ve managed to convince them it was a very specific condition due to some family history,” she said casually, trying to sound as calm as possible. “Not that it had been easy.”
“Thank you,” you muttered, still not meeting her gaze.
The unexpected sound of your voice made her look at least slightly pleased. This was a good start.
“It’s my job as Nevermore’s Principal,” she said pointedly. “But there’s no need trying to play games with me, miss L/N, and I will not leave this room before I get some answers.”
Ah, there was the accusatory tone again. But you couldn’t tell Weems anything, what if she told everyone the truth? What if Xavier became ridden with guilt? Oh god, what if he shut you out again?
“I can’t,” you muttered, hands slightly trembling. “I can’t tell you.”
At your distressed state, Weems’ behavior changed to a mothering one in the blink of an eye and she reached out to put one of her hands on yours.
“You have to, Y/N,” she said softly but firmly, “according to those scans flowers are growing inside of your lungs, this is very concerning!”
“I can’t,” you cried, breaking down under the overwhelming emotions rising in your throat, “I can’t tell you, please.”
This time, her tone became more insistent, “I need to know, so I can call your aunt and inform her of the situation.”
The mention of your aunt made your blood freeze in your veins and you whipped your head so fast you thought your neck would break. Eyes wide open, you stared at Weems like a deer stuck in headlights.
When Weems called your name worriedly, the shivers that had momentarily stopped rocked your whole body once again.
“No, no no no no you can’t call my aunt, you can’t!” you whimpered, tears flowing down your cheeks uncontrollably. Nerves wrecked, you were beginning to sound straight up hysteric.
“She’s your legal guardian, I have to keep her informed,” she insisted, trying to calm you down, but nothing seemed to work.
You shook your head frantically, “Please,” you begged her, “please don’t tell her, I…you can’t tell her please.”
The cries turned into pathetic whimpers, until all you could do was to sob quietly, not caring if the Principal of the school were here to witness all of this. You were so tired.
“She will know eventually,” said Weems softly, trying to not trigger another tearful setback. “She’s your guardian, and we need to tell her what’s going on.”
Sniffling loudly, you let her words sink into your mind, the raging tempest within gradually calming down. Deep down, you knew that Weems was right. Your aunt was bound to find out one way or another, whether from the principal or yourself. So you whipped your nose and tentatively looked up to the Principal with puffy red eyes.
“I…I can’t tell you everything…but let me be the one telling my aunt,” you mumbled weakly. “Please…it’ll be easier for everyone…”
For a brief moment, Weems wanted to object to your demand. But the sight of your tear-stained face and pleading eyes refrained her. Seeing one of her usually strongest and most composed students having an heartbreaking emotional breakdown…she just knew she didn’t have to make things more difficult.
So she pursed her lips, and sighed heavily, “Fine. You can be the one informing your aunt.”
“Thank you,” you whispered faintly. “I…this means a lot to me.”
She sat deeper in her chair, eyeing the x-rays sheets once again, “I suppose you know what’s all about?”
You nodded slowly, and your following silence was enough sign for her to understand you wouldn’t divulge much more about it. “It’s spreading day by day,” you said in a small voice, “this…there’s no cure for this.”
She could only offer you a sorry look, darkened by the weight of those news. You and Principal Weems hadn’t always seen eye-to-eye, but she had been kind. She wanted to keep Nevermore students safe; and despite her efforts, you were going to die.
“I’m sorry to hear that, miss L/N,” she muttered quietly. “Is there anything we can do to ease this…cancer?”
Again, you shook your head. “Not really…I just want all of this to go smoothly, without too much damage…”
She nodded in understanding, raising slowly from her seat, “I see. If there’s anything you need to ease your struggle…do not hesitate to reach me.”
You let out a small thanks. Just as she was about to open the door, Principal Weems turned to you once more.
“I’m truly sorry for you, Y/N. I hope all of this will go smoothly for you.”
Even through blurry eyes, you forced a weak smile on your face, “Thank you ma’am.”
As soon as Weems exited your room, you let tears fall down your face. God, if you were getting this emotional just by getting a goodbye from the principal, then the evening of the Rave’n had weakened you more than you had thought.
A soft knock on the door pulled you out of your thoughts and you managed to whip away the corner of your eyes just in time before a familiar face stepped into the room.
“Hey,” greeted Xavier softly.
“Hey,” you said with a weak smile, heart soaring at his appearance.
No matter what happened before, you were so relieved to see him. You had almost died the previous night, and you remembered him running to your help before you blacked out. Disease or not, you loved Xavier and he was still your best friend; no matter how awkward things had been between you two the days before.
Approaching you carefully, he fidgeted nervously with a small bag which made you smile softly. At his awkward hesitation, eyes glancing to the chair next to the bed, you chuckled softly and shifted a little.
“C’mon don’t play coy,” you breathed out, patting the spot next to you on the bed. “You’re missing the sleepover.”
The joke made him break into a small laugh, easing the awkward tension and he indulged, sitting on the edge of the bed. He gave the small bag he was holding, unsure of where to begin.
“Here, it’s for you,” he said, “a get-well soon gift.”
Opening the bag to retrieve what was inside, you smiled softly at the cute pumpkin plushie. At the familiar let long-gone spark of fondness and genuine happiness in your eyes, Xavier felt his heart soar. He had missed this.
“This is super cute, thank you,” you smiled at him.
“Anytime,” he said before a weird silence took place again. Slightly shifting on his seat, he finally managed to ask you, “How are you feeling?”
As if echoing his question, your whole body whined in pain, “Feeble,” you rasped, “tired. Nothing a good night of sleep won’t fix I guess,” you told him, with what you hoped was a reassuring smile.
But the deep concerned look on Xavier’s face didn’t fade. “Except it won’t, will it?”
You casted your eyes down. No need to play dumb any longer; Xavier must’ve suspected something for a long time, but after what happened the night before, there was no need in lying.
“No it won’t,” you whispered.
He had probably seen Weems exiting your room with a dreadful expression. Given that and what he had seen in the woods…the image of your sprawled body, chest struggling to rise through the wheezes, the white outfit stained with red paint and blood burned his mind like hot iron. The way your eyes were clouded by the unconsciousness creeping, unable to focus as he had shouted your name, begging you to say something but your mouth unmoving and only drooling droplets of blood…little did the both of you know, this would haunt him for the longest time.
Leaning forward, Xavier took your hand in his. They were bigger than yours and calloused from his hours spent painting. Even if it wasn’t the first time the two of you held hands, it felt highly intimate.
“How bad?” he asked in a small voice, throat tight with emotion. He couldn’t even look at you, instead focusing on your intertwined hands; he feared that if he did, the tears already gathering at the corner of his eyes would spill. He had to be strong for his best friend.
“Pretty much shitty bad,” you mumbled.
“How bad?” he insisted, and you could swear you heard his voice break a little.
You gulped slowly, close to crying again, “Incurable kind of bad,” you finally managed to breath out after agonizing long seconds of silence.
Despite his best efforts to keep composure, Xavier choked on a broken sob. Maybe he had been in denial about this the whole time, maybe you were just very good at hiding it; no matter, hearing the truth was like a punch in the gut. Looking up at you with eyes full of tears, he looked completely broken.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” he whispered in disbelief.
Despite the tears tickling your eyes, you tried to smile, “I couldn’t burden you with that, Xav. It’s…this is not an ordinary disease.”
He frowned slightly mouth agape, not quite understanding what it was all about. Picking up the x-ray sheets you silently handed them to him. The crease between his brows only deepened in confusion the more he looked at them, eyes flickering back to you with a silent question, like he didn’t dare to ask. You could only nod slowly, confirming the terrible fate those sheets already predicted. Xavier swore under his breath.
“Shit, it’s growing in your lungs?”. At your nod he swore again, “That’s why you’ve been coughing flowers…”
Your eyes widened slightly in surprise, “You noticed?”
“Been picking up some details since the Poe cup, yeah…” he trailed, “but I wish I'd figured things out sooner.”
You squeezed his hand, the one still gripping yours, “You couldn’t know,” you tried to reassure him. “Even I had a hard time finding out what it is.”
“Yes I could have known,” he whispered looking deep into your eyes, “you’ve tried to tell me so many times, and I…I was an idiot. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you.”
His words made your lips wobble and your eyes fuelling with tears once again. This sight was all it took for him for muttering a “c’me here” and tugging you into a hug. His contact made you break into tears, ugly sobbing on his shoulder. God, you were so not ready to say goodbye to him.
Your hands gripped on his back, like it could allow you to cling onto life a little longer. No matter how much all of this was because of him, you couldn’t wrap your mind around the idea of losing him forever. Xavier had always been your anchor, your best friend through everything no matter who his feelings had been directed to. And now…now you have cornered yourself to the point where even his presence wouldn’t be enough to save you from drowning.
“I’m scared Xav,” you sobbed against his neck, “I’m so fucking scared of dying.”
His hand drew soft circles on your back, trying to soothe you the best he could; but also to remind him that you were still here. “I know sweetheart,” he whispered, head buried against yours.
The truth was he had no idea what to say to you to make you feel better; if you weren’t shaking, you could have felt him trembling too. Tears rolled on his cheeks in silence; he was so scared of losing you too. So he did the only thing he could do for now; he cradled you in his arms, occasionally pressing soft kisses on your hair, hoping this would ease you at least a little bit. In all of his life, Xavier had never felt so helpless.
As your sobs continued, a part of you started to be plagued with guilt for not telling Xavier what was exactly going on. The perspective of an upcoming death and the inevitable loss it would entail was painful enough, the last thing you wished for was for him to be guilt ridden.
When you seemed to calm down a little, Xavier swallowed thickly, voice full of tears, “Is there anything we can do?”
Despite the guilt, you shook your head and his heart broke a little more.
It wasn’t his fault you thought, no one could decide their feelings; the gradual decay of your own body would be dreadful enough for Xavier, there was no need of making him think it was actually his fault. You would take this secret with you in the tomb, that you swore to yourself.
“I’ve tried to curb it with a potion but it didn’t work,” you admitted weakly. “I thought that weed killer would work.”
His eyes widened, “Weed ki– Y/N that shit’s toxic as fuck!”
Ashamed, you cast your eyes down, “I just tried to fix this.”
Xavier squeezed your hands, “This isn’t fixing anything, you’ve basically been poisoning yourself!”
“And what was I supposed to do?” you snapped back, eyes full of tears. “Waiting patiently for this to kill me? Stay here and do nothing? Fuck Xavier, do you have any idea of how painful this is?”
The gradation in your voice’s volume made your body tremble like a leaf. The anger and bitter sadness had risen up so suddenly, you hadn’t noticed your knuckle turning white as you gripped Xavier’s hand tightly. Realizing how much he had upset you Xavier quickly brought you into another hug, whispering apologies and shushing sounds into your ear. The angry bubbling turned into sobs, and soon you ended up whimpering in Xavier’s arms again.
After a few moments, you sniffled. “Just…can you stay by my side?” you asked with a small voice. “I don’t want to be alone before…before it ends.”
Xavier lifted your chin, making you look up at his glossy hazel eyes. The emotions they held seemed enough to bring a man to his knees. “Of course,” he breathed out softly, “I’m not going anywhere, I promise.”
Despite the hot tears starting to flow again a relieved smile stretched your trembling lips. “Thank you,” you whispered, and hugged him again.
For now, all you wanted was to spend as much time as you could with Xavier. Even if it was only as his best friend, it was already enough for you. The time you had spent together had always been your oxygen, something that got you through the days. It could help to push away the crushing fear of dying long enough. It had to.
Gently tugging you from the hug, Xavier pressed his forehead against yours, “You’re my girl, remember? There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you.”
You tried to smile weakly, “Thank you…”
He kissed your forehead so softly, like you were made of glass. His own selfish behavior from the previous weeks taunted him at the back of his mind, plaguing him with guilt. Why didn’t he pay more attention? Why has he let himself be blinded by some weird fascination for a girl who clearly didn’t give shit about him, while his own best friend was fighting for her life?
Tightly gripping one of your hands, he almost wanted to cry. He had been such a fool.
“Hey,” you said, gently tugging his hand to make him look at you, “it’s gonna be okay, alright?”
He shook his head in defeat, “It’s not fair,” he mumbled to try to hide his broken voice, “I wish we had more time.”
Smiling weakly, you intertwined your fingers together, “We had plenty already. I don’t regret anything.”
Xavier looked up at you; behind the crestfallen look in your eyes, he knew that you were, among other things, referring to your kiss.
“But I do,” he said softly.
Suddenly your heart dropped in your stomach, and for the briefest moment you felt like the world had stopped. Seeing your frozen state, Xavier quickly took your other hand with him in a comforting manner.
“I regret not having given more time to think about us,” he clarified.
Eyes widening, you could only gap at him in disbelief. “You thought about us?” you whispered. He nodded. After how the previous discussion about this topic had ended and his rejection after you kissed…you didn’t believe you’ll talk about this ever again.
“But I thought…you said…”
“Yeah,” he croaked awkwardly, “I know what I said, I’ve been a jerk. And I’m sorry that I’ve hurt you sweetheart, I truly am.”
Casting your eyes down, you didn’t have the heart to tell him that he hadn’t. He definitely had.
“I can’t force you to love me that way if you don’t,” you said feebly. One of his hands came to cradle your cheek, turning your face to him once again.
“But what if I want to?” he said, eyes almost pleading. “What if I want to give it a shot? To give us a chance?”
This took you off-balance for a second. At first you gasped at his words, then frowned slightly.
“I don’t want to force your hand on your feelings for a charity case Xavier,” you warned with a trembling voice. “I don’t need pity-feed love, please.”
His eyes widened, “What? No! Y/N I promise, it’s not that,” he assured, softly stroking his thumb over your cheekbone in an attempt of a soothing gesture. “I know the timing isn’t the best, but I promise you that I’m honest with you.”
Looking at him with big watery eyes, you still quite couldn’t believe what you were hearing. “You really want to try this?” you whispered as he nodded with a faint smile. “But…I mean after we kissed…”
Once again, his own previous actions seemed to embarrass him, “I know, I– I didn’t really think then, I’ve been dumb. But after that I started to…to think about this more and more.”
“Then why…why did you invite Bianca?” you asked, still dumbfounded.
“I didn’t want to be the guy playing with your heart,” he said with sad eyes, “not after you had admitted that- that you loved me.”
Hearing him saying it out loud, for the first time ever, made your heart swell and you couldn’t help but smile softly at him, which made him smile too.
“I’ve come to realize that, maybe…maybe I could love you too.”
His words made you frown once again, “I don’t want you to force yourself.”
“I’m not I promise,” he insisted, mentally cursing at himself for his poor choice of words. “I care about you Y/N, a lot. And,” he added with an almost shy smile, “I’ve thought about you as more than a friend before. Often.”
Tears came to your eyes; this time, with joy. “You did?”
“Yeah,” he smiled, “I’ve been wondering recently…why I hadn’t let you in that way.”
That brought an almost sorry look in your eyes. Xavier had the tendency to torture himself – must be his artistic side. No doubt he was giving himself as much hard time as he could about this.
“What changed your mind about this?” you asked softly, curious.
Xavier nervously rubbed his neck, “Well, I had the thought hidden at the back of my mind for a long time but…I guess getting a little push helped.”
Your eyebrows rose, “A push?”
He let out an awkward chuckle, “More like life advice laced with threats from Enid, then Wednesday…definitely more threats on her side.”
That made you laugh a little, picturing the scene in your mind. You could definitely imagine them roasting Xavier to politeness’ limits.
“Bianca spoke to me about this too,” he added.
“She did?” you asked in surprise, “what did she say?”
“Something along the lines of me being an idiot,” he grinned shyly. A laugh escaped your throat, soon followed by Xavier’s.
“Yeah that sounds like something she would say,” you agreed between light laughs. “But seriously,” you added more quietly after a few moments of guiltless euphoria, “why now?”
He hesitated, almost looking ashamed of himself.
“I guess it just started to make sense recently.”
“How so?” you frowned.
“I think the best friend tag put me in more denial than I thought,” he shrugged. “But ever since you asked me about us, you know, in my room that other night…it kept turning in my mind.”. His eyes bore into yours, burning with heavy remorses and unspoken things, “I… I just don’t know when I could return your feelings.”
Unable to contain your smile, you squeezed the hand that was still holding your face. Xavier had feelings for you; he could love you. All he needed was time to figure out his emotions. Maybe there was hope for you after all.
Hugging him tightly, you closed your eyes, hopeful tears escaping them.
“Don’t worry,” you whispered, “I’ll wait for you. I always will.”
Xavier smiled, and pressed a long, soft kiss to your forehead.
He had unknowingly lightened a spark of hope in you. You just hoped that his heart would win this race against time in which your own body was trapped, or else you would be lying to him once again. Even if you had promised you would wait for him, you weren’t so sure that the sickness would.
Tumblr media
The doctors signed off your release forms the next day. You had just changed from the hospital gown to your casual clothes when someone knocked on your door.
“Come in,” you called out while putting on your shoes.
The door opened on your monochrome roommate.
“Wednesday,” you said surprised, “what are you doing here?”
“I was visiting Eugene,” she said flatly, “I heard you had woken up.”
Despite your initial surprise you nodded, “Yeah, the doctors gave me authorization to go back to school. Not that they can do anything for me anyway, “ you muttered the last part.
“Do they know about your condition?” she asked.
You shook your head, “So far, you’re the only one knowing everything. Weems knows parts of it; so does Xavier.”
“You told him?” she raised her eyebrow.
Almost shyly you cast your eyes down, “Not everything. He doesn’t know he’s…that he has something to do with it.”
After a pause, Wednesday spoke again, “This is a rather strategic decision. If you’re dying, there’s no reason to burden yourself with more guilt from him. You’re probably in enough pain, lucky you.”
It almost made you chuckle, “I’m surprised you actually agree with my feelings.”
“I’m not,” she denied sharply, “like I said, it’s only a strategic move.”
You only shrugged in response.
“How’s Eugene?” you asked in a small voice.
Wednesday’s harsh expression softened a little, “He’s okay. Still unconscious, but okay.”
This news saddened you a little. Sure, Eugene was out of danger, but he didn’t deserve to end up in a hospital bed.
“His mothers asked me to thank you by the way,” she added, and you lifted your head in surprise. “They learned that you had gone to his rescue.”
“Yeah, except I couldn’t help him,” you mumbled bitterly.
She shrugged, “Still, they are passing you their thanks.”
Pulling your jacket, you swallowed your shame. Eugene didn’t owe you anything, you hadn’t been able to help him; you didn’t deserve his mums’ thanks.
“I wished to thank you too,” added Wednesday quietly. At your once again shocked expression she continued, “You didn’t have to run to his aid, yet you didn’t hesitate to. So, thank you.”
Once the initial surprise wore off you smiled slightly, “Is that compassion I heard from you, Wednesday Addams?”
“Don’t flatter yourself,” she deadpanned.
“I’m not talking about me though, I’m talking about Eugene. You have a soft spot for that kid.”
She narrowed her eyes at you but said nothing. You chuckled, knowing you were right.
“Well you’re welcome,” you said grabbing your bag – in which the pumpkin plushie Xavier gifted you laid carefully, “Always a pleasure to prove a point.”
“Which point?” she frowned.
“That no matter how much you despise them, you do have feelings Wednesday.”
With that, you left the room and quietly made your way to the entrance where Principal Weems waited for you to bring you back to Nevermore. Even if she looked the same as usual, elegant as ever, you didn’t miss the pitiful look in her eyes everytime she looked at you. The looming figure of upcoming death above you was something she couldn’t ignore; you guessed that it was going to be like this, now.
“Your aunt called,” she told you as the both of you were seated in her car, driving away from the hospital. “She can’t make it to the parents’ week-end.”
This made your heart squeeze a little, but you weren’t exactly surprised, “Oh,” you said simply, “guess I should’ve seen that coming.”
In the corner of your eye you could see the sorry look of Principal Weems. After a few moments of silence, she said, “I didn’t tell her about your condition.”
“Thank you,” you muttered, glad the principal actually kept her word. “I’ll call her this week-end.”
Maybe in the meantime things would change; but you doubted it.
When you reached Nevermore the first place you went to was your room, only to be trapped in a bone-crushing hug by Enid. The werewolf didn’t sound like she was aware of the extent of the disease, because she rambled about the importance of good sleep and healthy feeding in a very cute and concerned way. Apparently, she still thought you had passed out from exhaustion, meaning she hadn’t seen your body the night of the Rave’n. Which was good; with the upcoming arrival of her parents the day after, you knew you couldn’t tell her everything now. Her relationship with her mother had its lots of complications, your health would wait.
Then after reassuring Enid that you were now fine, you grabbed a few of your belongings and made your way to the boys’ dormitory. Xavier opened his door after the first knock.
“Hey,” you said quietly, “can I stay here tonight?”
He smiled softly at you, before letting you in, “Of course.”
His room hadn’t changed much since the last time you had come. It felt oddly comforting, like a safe space. Carefully taking your hands in his, Xavier slowly guided you to his bed. He laid down on his back and you snuggled on his side, head against his chest. One of his hands naturally found its way to your hair, getting lost in your locks. The soothing beating of his heart against your ear seemed enough to keep the both of you alive.
“Does it still hurt?” he mumbled against your hairline.
You nodded, unable to tell him how much pain you were in. “Sometimes it calms down,” you tried to reassure him.
Still, he winced at your words. “I’m not letting you down this time,” he whispered, throat tight, “I promise.”
Craning your head up to look at him, you smiled softly, “I know, Xav. You and me against the world, right?”
The words the both of you had kept saying through your childhood brought a small smile on his face. “Yeah,” he kissed your forehead, “you and me against the world, sweetheart.”
That night, despite the dreadful and irksome sensation of the flowers clawing in your throat, you slept peacefully. No matter how your lungs ached, the only thing that mattered was Xavier’s arms wrapped safely around you.
Tumblr media
When the first day of parent’s week-end rolled by the morning after, you knew that it was going to be a long day for both Xavier and you. Even your mutual soothing presences couldn’t tune down the anxiety that grew as the morning went on. From one of the passageways above the quad, Xavier was glancing either to his phone or to the school gates every ten seconds. Waiting for his father to either make an appearance, or a call. Leaning on the balcony next to him you nudged his shoulder with your in a silent gesture of support. He flashed a small smile for reassurance, but you knew the absence of his father hurt him.
“He’s not coming,” he said bitterly.
“There’s still people arriving, maybe he will show up,” you tried.
He tsked, “You know him Y/N. Mighty Vincent Thorpe doesn’t have time for his unworthy son.”
“Hey,” you insisted, putting a hand on his, “don’t say that. You’re kind and talented, no matter what he says.”
Xavier smiled softly at your words, but his eyes were still tainted with sorrow. Cradling his cheek you brushed your thumb over his cheekbones, “You’re worthy to me, Xav. You’re already twice the man your father will ever be.”
His smile broadened and he kissed your palm, muttering a thanks. He shouldn’t dwell on his father's antics; you were there, and that was all that mattered.
“Your aunt’s coming?” he asked quietly, lifting his face from your hand to instead take it in his.
“No,” you said sadly, “she’s busy too. But I’ll call her later.”
This time, it was his turn to frown, “Does she know yet?”
You shook your head, “This isn’t going to be a pleasant conversation.”
“Do you want me to be here when you’ll call her?” he suggested softly.
His support offer touched you, but your heart clenched anyway, “No I…this is something I need to do on my own.”
Xavier nodded in understanding. He didn’t want to press the issue further, this was your call to make.
Down in the quad, you noticed that Enid’s family had finally arrived. Even from up here you could practically hear Enid’s anxiety. As you looked back to Xavier to speak, you noticed the lonely figure of Bianca a few feet away from the both of you, hesitant to approach. Xavier followed your eyes and glanced behind his shoulder to the siren.
“I’m going to give Enid some emotional support,” you said softly, squeezing his hand. “We’ll see each other when the buffet starts, okay?”
He nodded, kissing your knuckles as a goodbye. Before you walked away you nodded in Bianca’s direction, “Go talk to her.”
He frowned, slightly surprised by your words, “You’re sure?”
You nodded. Him and Bianca weren’t together anymore, but that didn’t change the fact that they were friends. And after the little heart-to-heart you had with her at the party…you knew she needed her friend.
“She’s alone too, today,” you said, noticing the absence of her mother.
“I don’t want to leave you,” he whispered.
You smiled at him. “You’re not, I promise. Go, I’m going to Enid and I’ll find you later.”
Passing next to Bianca, you mirrored her unusual kind smile. It seemed that your heart-to-heart had unlocked a strange form of compassion. Maybe if you had more time, you could be friends with her, you thought as you went down to the quad.
Crossing the crowded space to get to your blonde roommate, you didn’t expect to run into Wednesday and a handful of black-claded people accompanying her.
“Y/N,” she greeted sharply, “if you’re trying to flee this gruesome social obligation, I must ask you to consider helping me on this matter.”
The plump man behind her let out a rich laugh. “Ah, did our little nightmare finally make a friend, then?”
Wednesday glared at him. But that didn’t seem to disencourage the man who nudged her, “Well, why don’t you introduce us to your friend, my little death trap?”
She rolled her eyes so you took the initiative, extending your hand, “I’m Y/N L/N, Wednesday’s roommate. Pleasure meeting you, sir.”
He shook your hand before bowing his head slightly yet in a very theatrical gesture, “I’m Gomez Addams, Wednesday’s father. Thank you for having welcomed our daughter with open arms.”
You heard Wednesday snort, but you put on a polite smile, “Wednesday’s a very considerate roommate, sir. We get along fine.”
On the corner of your eyes you could notice the way her eyebrows slightly rose up in surprise. Surely, she didn’t expect such compliments; but you had to give it to her, she had been respectful of your boundaries the best she could, no matter how nosy she might have been. Plus, you probably owed her your life for having found you in the woods after the Rave’n.
“Whatever,” she huffed, starting to walk away with her father following her with playful pleas.
“It’s a true delight to see Wednesday getting along with someone,” said a feminine voice from behind you.
You turned around to face a raven-haired woman dressed in a long dramatic dress, hands elegantly crossed in front of her. Despite her rather gloomy appearance, she had kind eyes and a soft smile.
“Thank you for indulging my daughter's behavior, miss L/N,” she said with a smile. “Wednesday has a lot of qualities, but her social skills aren’t of those.”
That made you smile a little, extending your hand to her, “You must be Wednesday’s mother. A pleasure ma’am.”
She came to reach your outreached hand, “My name’s Morticia. A witch, aren’t you Miss L/N? I’ve heard about your aunt’s reputation before.”
You were about to confirm her words, but as soon as her hand touched yours for a handshake, Morticia froze, eyes widening. It was only for a brief moment, a breath really, but once she seemed to regain her spirits the previously kind expression on her face turned into despair.
“Oh poor child,” she whispered, mouth agape. “What a dreadful path you’re on.”
Morticia’s reaction troubled you; what had happened? “Excuse me?”
Her eyes bore into yours, and what you saw surprised you even more: they were glossy with tears.
“I saw what’s plaguing you. You’re cursed with Hanahaki disease, aren’t you?”
Her words stunned you right on the spot. How was this possible? How could she possibly know?
As panic started to overflow your mind, the familiar tickling urge and taste of blood rushed in your throat.
“How?...” you whispered, chest tight and burning under the flower’s pressure.
Her tearful eyes turned into a sympathetic expression, “I am gifted with visions, and I saw what looms over you.”
No matter how hard you tried to restrain them, tears were already gathering in your eyes and you nodded painfully. “You know about the disease? But how? It has been so difficult to learn anything about it.”
She smiled sadly at you, “I know many things about love, dear child. Especially cursed ones.”
As on cue, you coughed a handful of bloodied petals in your hand. Morticia Addams winced at the pitiful sight. Immediately, your eyes flickered to the higher passageway as you felt Xavier’s eyes on you. He must have heard you cough somehow, because even from where you stood, you could see his panicked eyes. He looked ready to jump over the balcony in the blink of an eye, worry consuming him. But you slightly shook your head, mouthing that you were fine. That didn’t erase his discomfort, but at least he started to make his way hurriedly to the stairs instead of rushing down in the dumbest way possible. Morticia didn’t miss any of this.
“Is that him?” asked Wednesday’s mother softly.
You nodded slowly. This was strange, you knew this woman for less than five minutes but her motherly aura somehow made you at ease.
“Does he know?” she pressed carefully, and the negative shake of your head made her heart fill with sadness for you.
“He can never know,” you whispered, casting your eyes down to hide your tears. “It would break him to know it’s somehow his fault.”
She lifted your chin gently, with one finger. The sorrowful, yet kind look she was giving you made your heart swell.
“But he cares about you. I can see that.”
You could only shrug in defeat, “What if it can’t save me?”
She smiled softly at you, “I didn’t see your end, dear child. Only great pain, the one going through. But if that boy is close to you, maybe that’s why my vision didn’t show me your demise.”
That made your eyes widen. Could there still be a chance, like you had hoped?
“Does that mean…do you think there’s still a chance for me to heal, then?” you whispered in disbelief.
Letting go of your chin, she nodded, “My visions are often incomplete, but rarely wrong. And my sight does not fool me, young Y/N. I saw the look you both shared.”. Replacing a strand of hair behind your ear in a mothering care, she smiled, “There is hope, as long as there is love.”
Noticing the upcoming figure of a very concerned Xavier behind you, Morticia smiled one last time.
“It’s been a pleasure meeting you, Y/N. I sincerely hope we’ll run into each other again.”
Through your blurry eyes, you offered her a weak but sincere smile. “Me too, Mrs.Addams. And…thank you.”
With one last enigmatic smile, she walked away gracefully to rejoin her family, just as Xavier reached you.
“Hey,” he whispered, “you’re alright?”
Whipping the gathering tears with the back of your hand, you nodded, “Yeah…I made a surprising encounter that’s all.”
He looked over at the dark yet classy figure of Morticia Addams on the other side of the quad and frowned. “Isn’t that Wednesday’s mum?”
Looking at this reassuring mother figure, you smiled softly, “Yeah, she is. She’s great.”
About half an hour later it turned out that no matter how kind your roommate’s mom was, karma had a strange sense of humor. That’s what you thought when the police arrested Gomez Addams for a murder aged 20 years. This definitely put a stain on the joyful ambience of parents’ weekend, but the festivities resumed soon after. As the night started to roll by, you knew that you ultimately had to call your aunt.
“You’re sure you don’t want me to be here for support?” asked Xavier, hand in yours before your room’s door.
“I’ll be fine,” you reassured him, still thankful he offered. “Aunt Cordelia and I will have a lot of things to talk about, it won’t be a fun conversation.”
At his still worried look, you suddenly felt bolder and kissed his cheek, nearly on the corner of his mouth. This wasn’t unusual for the both of you, but it was the first time since you had actually kissed. His eyes widened slightly, but it was soon replaced by a soft smile.
“I’ll text you when it’s over, okay?” you promised him.
“Okay,” he finally admitted, “if anything’s wrong, just text me I’ll be there in a minute.”
His devotion made you smile. Xavier had always been protective of you when you were kids, but since you had confessed your love to him, this was a whole new level, even if he didn’t return your romantic feelings yet.
Reluctantly letting go of his hand, you pushed open your door, catching one last glance before closing it behind you. The silence and emptiness of the room made you let out a long sigh. Enid was sleeping outside with her family, and Wednesday must have been visiting her father in detention. This was the perfect moment to make that phone call.
Grabbing your phone and composing your aunt’s number before courage wore off of you, you stepped on the balcony behind the large web-shaped window. The cool air of the night felt nice against the skin of your sore throat; you had thrown up again quite a lot today, much to Xavier’s worry.
Your aunt picked up at the last ringtone, “Good to know you’re still alive, Y/N,” she said as a greeting.
Her choice of words almost made you choke on your own breath. She had no idea. “Yeah…hi aunt Cordelia…”
On the other side of the phone, you could picture her frowning, “Oooh, what’s with that sad voice, pumpkin? Is something wrong?”
You tried to speak, but the words wouldn’t come out; instead a wave of emotion rushed in your throat, tightening it so hard it made tears come out of your eyes.
“Y/N? Are you alright?” called out your aunt.
And then you broke down in tears, “I’m dying,” you cried out. Here, you said it. Blurted it because every emotion you had repressed recently for the sake of Xavier or anyone else had overwhelmed you, crashing into you like a high wave. And now the tears wouldn't stop.
“Wait, wait, slow down Y/N, slow down,” said the worried voice on the phone, “Take a deep breath, okay?”
“I can’t,” you whimpered in between tears, “it hurts too much. I- I have flowers growing in my lungs and I c-can’t breathe,” you hiccuped. A long, dreadful silence echoed your sobs; so long you thought your aunt had dropped her phone. “Aunt Cordelia?...”
Her rasping voice answered you at last, “You have Hanahaki disease?”
“Yes,” you hiccuped in surprise, “how do you…”
“I just know. It’s Xavier isn’t it?” she cut you off, voice trembling because of the shock.
Trembling, you nodded. She couldn’t see that, but you knew she understood.
“I’m taking the first flight to Nevermore tomorrow morning,” she said curtly, “I’m picking you up.”
“What?” you blurted; the tears had gradually stopped flowing, “why?”
“So we can get you fixed, Y/N,” she said in a harsh tone. But you knew her; the truth was that behind that tone, she was terrified. Still, it didn’t stop you from starting to cry again.
“Please don’t,” you begged, “please. I don’t want to leave Nevermore, not now!”
Your aunt let out a frustrated sigh, “There’s nothing for you here anymore! You need to come back home, so we can start to cure this.”
Her words caught your breath.
“There’s a cure?” you whispered in disbelief. “But I thought…I’ve read nothing about it.”
Suddenly, the tone in your aunt’s voice changed to something softer. And tainted with regrets. “It’s not a pretty thing to do, pumpkin,” she admitted. “It requires making difficult decisions.”
“But…but the disease will disappear if Xavier actually loves me back, isn’t it?” you stuttered frantically. “He’s trying, I promise we have a chance.”
“Oh Y/N…” sighed your aunt, “This isn’t how it works love…”
“We have a chance!” you repeated, starting to cry again, “Please aunt Cordelia, we only need a little more time, don’t make me leave…please…”
“You’re dying, Y/N,” she snapped, “time is a luxury you don’t have!”
The way she had snapped at you startled you; even if she hadn’t always been the most present parent, aunt Cordelia had never screamed or scolded you.
After a brief moment of silence, where she realized her mistake, Cordelia sighed again.
“Listen pumpkin…I’ve already lost your mother, I can’t lose you too…”
Tears continued to roll down your cheeks. You didn’t dare to speak, afraid that your voice would break under the weight of emotions.
“I want to believe in Xavier and you, I really do okay? He’s a good man, and I’m sure he might love you someday.”
“But?” you asked with a trembling voice.
“But…Hanahaki disease never ends well darling,” she said in a sorry tone. “Trust me, I’ve seen people trying to fight it, but no matter how hard they tried they never survived.”
All the hopes that the encounter with Morticia Addams had awakened in your heart suddenly crumbled to ashes.
“So…I’m doomed?” you cried.
The silence that answered you was worth a thousand words. Your back hit the stone wall and you let your whole body slump against it; your legs couldn’t hold you up any longer.
“I’m sorry pumpkin,” muttered your aunt.
Biting your lips not to scream, you managed to let out the words you never thought you’d say, “What is this cure…the one you were talking about?”
Surprisingly, she sounded hesitant now. “It’s a surgical operation,” she explained slowly, “it gets the flowers and roots completely removed. But it comes with a price.”
“Which price?” you whispered between trembling lips.
“You…” she hesitated, “you would forget all memories of Xavier. And it’s highly likely you’ll never get to love again.”
Choking on air, you let out a small strangled cry.
“I can’t,” you croaked, “you can’t ask me to do this.”
“Y/N darling, I understand,” she begged, “but you must if you want to live.”
You squeezed your eyes tight, like you could suddenly wake up from this nightmare, leaving it all behind with the retiring night.
“I understand he’s important to you,” she conceded gently, “are you really willing to die for him though?”
Your answer was instantaneous, “I have faith in him. I can- we can do this, I know it.”
She remained silent. Maybe you were already too deep into denial for her to change your mind. So she sighed in defeat.
“You’re as stubborn as your mother,” she said quietly, “if I let you stay at Nevermore, would you promise me that if he can’t save you on time you would consider getting the flowers removed?”
The hesitation was what betrayed you, “I…I can’t promise you that.”. But she already knew the answer.
“I know. But I also know that you won’t completely push away the possibility. I love you, pumpkin.”
Before you could add anything, she hung up. Shoulders slumping you buried your face in your hands, letting tears down.
How did the hope that had been building up over the last two days become so fragile? You wanted to believe in Xavier, with all of your heart you truly did. It just was beginning to be incredibly harder that you had thought.

Victory pt. 2 || Xavier Thorpe x reader
A/n: I love each and every one of your comments. I’m so glad we’re all collectively obsessing over this boy. On another note, if you couldn’t already tell, my requests are open! You’ll find the guidelines somewhere on my page lovelies 🥰
Don’t worry @gutterrataesthetic , I wasn’t about to leave you on a cliff hanger! 😉
What to expect: Gender neutral reader, fluff, banter, soft Xavier, no spoilers ☺️
You looked over yourself in the mirror once more, smoothing over your hair as you tried to calm your nerves. After Xavier’s victory, you’d spent the rest of the day thinking about the date he had planned for you. It’s only Xavier, you reminded yourself. You’ve interacted with him countless of times, you had no reason to be nervous. Besides, it’s not like you like him or anything. Right? Glancing at the time you saw that it was 7:59 pm. One more minute until he was expected to show up at your dorm. You paced around nervously as you waited, the moment it hit 8:00 pm you heard a knock on your door. He was exactly on time, typical. Reaching for the doorknob, you paused for a moment as to not seem so eager. Even if your heart was pounding desperately against your chest.
Once you had decided you’d waited long enough, you slowly opened the door to see the cocky brunette. His once painted face was now stripped free of any paint as his long hair now laid loose on his shoulders no longer restricted by any hat. You could just about smell a whiff of his cologne he sprayed right before leaving, it was a wonderfully addictive scent. Feeling his eyes scan you head to toe, you felt your cheeks go warm. Clearing your throat you looked up at the smirking boy, “Quit your staring and lead the way Xavier. This better be worth my while.” Taking your hand in his, he leaned down whispering into your ear, “You look amazing by the way.” You smiled deciding to tease the boy, “You clean up nicely too, I suppose.” His grin only widened, “Oh yeah?” You rolled your eyes playfully, muttering under your breath, “Yeah.”
The two of you managed to successfully sneak out of the academy, the Thorpe boy leading you to the woods nearby. The moonlight shone on his face, highlighting his pretty features. You knew he had eventually caught you staring when he was unable to fight the smirk on his face, although, instead of calling you out he basked in your gaze. Upon seeing the shady shed in the woods you joked, “Let me guess, you lead us here to murder me? A bit cliché don’t you think?” Xavier rolled his eyes at you, shaking his head in amusement, “Do you really think that little of me? This is far too obvious!” The lanky boy took his keys from out his pocket unlocking the shed to reveal what he had prepared for you. Peering inside you gasped, you could still tell that it was his art studio, only that his canvases and supplies were pushed to the side of the room to leave space for his display.
In the centre of the room laid a picnic blanket with a variety of small foods placed next to the basket, and a couple of card games. A small canvas nearby was placed on top of an easel covered by an old cloth. Leading you inside, the tall boy went to uncover the canvas, it was a painting of a small bouquet of flowers. Manipulating the painting with his hands, the bouquet seemed to come alive. Xavier reached into the canvas to grab the now physical bouquet of flowers and gave it to you with a smirk, “Admit it, you’re a little impressed.” You failed to fight the smile brought about by his sweet gesture but teased him nonetheless, “Just a tad bit.” The two of you sat down on the picnic basket, Xavier studying your reaction to the different foods and drinks he had bought, making a mental note for what things you do or don’t like.
It didn’t take long for the two of you to venture off into the card games he had prepared, a determined look in his eyes as he tried to guess what cards you held, “Do you… have an ace?” You grinned at the boy before shaking your head, “Nope! Go fish!” You won shortly after that of course, the Thorpe boy having horrendous luck whenever he played against you. He wasn’t even letting you win either, he liked you definitely, but not enough to let you win against him- his competitive nature would never allow it! Without realising, the two of you had been in the shed for a couple of hours. Everything felt so natural between the both of you, your energy bouncing off of each other as you chatted the night away. Upon seeing the time Xavier swore, “Shit. We have to go back now or else it’ll be too obvious we snuck out,” he groaned, “and I didn’t even get to teach you how to play bullshit!”
You smiled softly at the boy, his eagerness to continue the date made your heart warm. “Well…maybe you could teach me next time.” You slyly implied. Hearing this the boy smirked, “So there’s gonna be a next time?” You grinned whilst leaning in, “If you play your cards right of course.” Xavier chuckled gesturing towards the score board the two of you had created along the way, “I think we both know I’m not cut out for that.” Packing everything up, the two of you made your way back to the academy, Xavier walking you back to your dorm. You were approaching your room, opening its door before turning to the long haired boy behind you, “Here we are.” You whispered suddenly shy. The tall boy leaned in repeating, “Here we are.” There’s a beat of silence before one of his hands cupped your face. His forest eyes studied you, fixating on your lips, “…Can I?”
You nod your head, and that’s all it takes for the brunette to kiss you. His soft lips kissed you tenderly as if you were to break under his touch, his thumb stroking the side of your cheek. Your heart was pounding inside your chest, warmth flooding you as his lips moved against yours. Giving him one more kiss, you pulled away. A soft expression you hadn’t quite seen before was now on his face, “Goodnight Y/n.” You stood by your door watching as the tall boy walked away, you whispered, “Goodnight Xavier.”

So could you do a, Xavier x fem!reader , where she's Wednesday's cousin and has a crush on Xavier. When Wednesday goes to Xaviers shed and thing pushes the blanket from over the painting, could it be a painting of the reader, and Wednesday thinks its creepy and she tells reader and you can decide how it ends. (idk if that made scenes but I thought it would cute.)
picture of you
summary | after discovering a picture of you, wednesday can't keep her mouth shut
pairing | xavier thorpe x fem!addams!reader
warning | fluff, friends to lovers, xavier has a crushhhh,

Wednesday couldn’t hold a single ounce of love to anyone, except her cousin, and you really couldn’t call it love. The two of you grew up together with your father constantly on the run, staying with your aunt and uncle and cousins most of your life.
You were the blunt end of Wednesday’s emotions, trying to make up for her lack of.
Unlike your cousin, you were excited to start at Nevermore. Since you were little, your aunt would tell you the stories of her time there hoping that one day you and Wednesday would attend. While you basked in her stories, Wednesday just rolled her eyes at her mother, sick of hearing about her marvelous time at Nevermore.
Standing next to Enid as she showed the two of you around, Ophelia Hall did not have enough room, leaving the three of you together as roommates.
Starting to think in your head, Enid’s voice had drowned out as you scanned over the quad before your eyes stopped to stare.
Turning, Xavier saw you looking at him, giving you a little half smile before turning back to his painting which was ravens, you think.
The rest of your day at Nevermore wasn’t much, taking your own route while Wednesday took hers but you didn’t expect to be sitting in the infirmary already.
Sitting on the other side of her bed, both you and Xavier watched her quietly. He was the one to find you after bringing Wednesday to the nurse, explaining about what happened.
“Thank you again, the two of you are even now.” You smiled softly.
Xavier looked up at you, his eyes slightly wide, “You aren’t talking about my-”
“I am.” You laughed quietly.
“Can never leave that in my past.” He looked down, smiling.
Since the two of you have grown closer but once Wednesday started her journey to find the Hyde, you knew you couldn’t leave her on her own, going with her and keeping all of it from Xavier.
Wednesday kept most of her theories to herself, especially that she believes that Xavier is the Hyde.
Heading out to the woods towards Xavier’s shed hoping he could clear out some answers for her.
Once arriving, Thing could sense something, running from Wednesday, walking around Xavier’s shed, looking over to see the canvas, covered.
Pulling down the cover, Xavier looked over, letting out a sigh watching Wednesday walk over towards the painting.
“Look, listen.” Before he could even explain, Wednesday spoke.
“You drew her.”
The picture was you during the Rave’N walking down the stairs, your dress swaying as you stepped down each step. Standing behind her, Xavier lifted his hand, letting the painting come to life, your self painting following your steps walking down the stairs.
“I-I couldn’t stop thinking about her.” He confessed. Xavier truly didn’t know what Wednesday was going to do with the information, probably knowing that you were going to find out soon enough. “Just let me tell her first.”
“I make no promises.” Wednesday spoke.
Coming back into her dorm, Wednesday contemplated what Xavier told her, knowing he probably would never tell you, and after hearing Enid gush about you and Xavier potentially being together, Wednesday thought it was best to let you know.
Upon entering the room, she saw Enid sitting on her bed watching a movie, looking up, you saw your cousin coming into the room.
“You finished what you were looking for?” You asked her, pausing the movie, turning your attention to Wednesday.
“No, my dream didn’t help.” She concluded, finally turning to look at you. “Xavier drew a picture of you.”
There was a moment of silence before Enid let out a loud squeal. Both of you turned to see Enid, practically shaking in her spot.
“Oh my god!” She gushed, grabbing onto your shoulders, shaking you back and forth, “I told you he liked you back!”
You couldn’t barely comprehend what she said, still shocked that Xavier drew a picture of you, you always thought he saw you as a friend, a friend wouldn’t draw a friend would they?
For the rest of the night you had to listen to Enid go on and on about you and Xavier, saying that the two of you needed to get together immediately, along with that, saying that the two of you could go on double dates with her and Ajax.
“Enid.” You said calmly, “He doesn’t know that I know.”
“Right.” Enid nodded her head slowly, “You’ll have to tell him tomorrow then.”
You knew Enid was right, you needed to talk to Xavier eventually.
Seeing him in classes the next few days, you tried to plan it out as much as could, speaking to him after class but something always got in the way of you getting to him.
Finally gaining the courage, you made your way towards his dorm, frowning when he didn’t answer, after the 3rd time trying you gave up, but still on a mission to find him.
Going out into the woods, following the familiar trail towards his art shed, knowing it was the only other place he would be that wasn’t his room outside of class.
“Xavier.” You knocked on the wood, opening the door slightly, poking your head in slightly.
Seeing that his headphones were on, you slipped in quietly, slowly making your way next to him, “Hi.”
Jumping, Xavier tried to hide what he was hiding while trying to answer back to you. “Shit, you scared me.”
“I’m sorry.” You apologized, “I knocked, but you had your headphones on, and I was wondering if we could talk?”
Finally looking at what he was drawing, your eyes widened, seeing the couple on his canvas.
“That looks beautiful Xavier.” You confessed, letting your eyes soak every spot. “Who did you draw?”
Feeling conflicted, Xavier didn’t know what to say, he knew that it was time to tell you about the other painting, and along with that, telling you how he feels about you.
Feeling his mouth dry, Xavier muttered up a small whisper, “It’s us.”
Closing his eyes, Xavier was waiting for the worst, saying that you now hated the painting, or that you didn’t think of the two of you like that.
“Really?” You smiled, “I kind of came to talk about us.”
Xavier let out a small sigh, looking up from his lap, looking at you, waiting for you to continue. “Wednesday told me about your painting.”
Letting out a hough, Xavier knew that Wednesday couldn’t keep her mouth shut, always wanting to know everyone’s drama.
Silently, Xavier stood going back to your painting, pulling down the sheet. You stood on his side, letting out a quiet gasp. It was, you couldn’t even form into words about what you thought about it.
“I know it’s kind of weird but-mmpphh!”
His words were cut off when he felt you grab ahold of his collar, pulling him down towards you. Feeling his lips on yours, Xavier greedily grabbed your face practically forcing his lips any farther on yours.
Humming, you smiled into the kiss, feeling your bottom lip being sucked, pulling away slightly, looking out a quiet moan.
Pulling away, both your lips swollen, you shyly looked up at Xavier.
“I guess you liked it.” He murmured.
“I think I liked it a lot more.” You smirked, “I have to thank the artist properly.”
“Another kiss should be sufficient.” He smiled, pulling you closer to him. “And maybe a date if he’s lucky.”
“I think I could make that happen, he seems really cute and my friends are constantly telling me that the two of us would be perfect together.”
“I think they have the right idea.” He smiled, gazing down at you, silently thanking your cousin for giving the two of you that final little push.

Into the woods
Tumblr media
pairing: Xavier Thorpe x reader
synopsis: you go out into the wood to have some peace when Xavier finds you.
warnings: none, pure fluff
word count: 0.6k
It had been what felt like the longest day ever since you had entered Nevermore academy. Classes had been dragging out and the students collectively had one thing on their mind. Wanting to enjoy the warm weather. So when classes finally ended and everyone spilled out of the classroom to go their own way you made yours into the forest around school. Not far you had found a small clearing a while back, to which you always found your way back whenever you needed a moment to yourself, as you did now.
Laying down your stuff under a tree you made your way further into the middle of the clearing and began moving to whatever song came to mind. It felt good to get away from everyone after days of basically not having a minute to yourself and the dancing made that feeling of carelessness run through you even stronger, because there truly was nothing to worry about. No homework, no coming up parents school visitation, no friend drama, no phone to hang onto in case you missed something… just you and the trees.
And as you spun and jumped around with your eyes closed you didn´t notice the pair of green eyes following your every move. You also didn´t hear the soft scribble of pen on paper or the soft chuckle your sudden company let out as he found you where he did so often before.
What you luckily only almost missed was the half smile that accompanied another chuckle before the person stepped forward.
“Aren´t you scared someone will steal your stuff one of these days?”, Xavier called out to you from the sidelines.
Instinctively your claws came out and you looked into the direction of your waiting boyfriend.
“Oh my god you scared me. Don´t do that.”, you laughed as your arms looped around his neck.
“Sorry.”, he mumbled before pressing a short kiss to your lips. “You just looked so in your own world.”
“Is everything alright?”, normally when you came to your spot alone you´d be alone unless something happened.
“Yeah, everything’s fine. I just thought I could spend some time with my wonderful girlfriend.”, the two of you shared another kiss before you let him pull you down into grass and against the nearest tree.
You sat there talking about anything and everything before the little notebook in his lap came back to your mind.
“You wanna show me what you drew?”, looking up at him with your best puppy dog eyes always worked.
Once he reached the latest filled out page you could see a girl dancing on what looked like your favorite spot.
“Aww Xavi…”, you turns to look at him once more as he lifts his hand over the picture to let it come to life.
Leaning your head onto his shoulder the two of you watched the figure spin around for a while.
Way too soon it started to get dark though and you heard your phone being blown up by who was probably going to be Enid looking for the both of you.
Not wanting to get back to the busy school yet you made it a point to walk as slowly as possible and drag out the time some more. As much as you loved your friends getting to hold hands with Xavier without any comments or looks was nice too for a change. By the time you got back to a waiting Enid and the rest it was completely dark outside. While Divina engaged you in a conversation about god knows what, you just hoped you got to spend more afternoons like this one.
