Tbh I feel like the events of this episode were very on-brand and could’ve been really funny if it weren’t for the fact that 1) Marwa was the only recurring woman of color on the show and 2) she was replaced mind, body, and soul by a generic white British man. Like….. wwdits writers…..you can’t be that tone-deaf right?

I know I should hope for the best for her, and that would be for a time travel reversal wish / back to normal with amnesia / no memory or knowledge of the shit done to her, peace and love and get the hell out of there...but on the other hand I want her to kill him...

kinda lowkey loving some of the more subtle parts of vampire lore to come out in WWDITS like

yes it seems like "familiars are naive if they think they'll ever become vampires" is a bit but also that scene where Guillermo is begging to be turned and Nandor makes it clear to him that he sees vampirism as a curse and he cares too much about Guillermo to curse him with it like....

how many vampires think of their familiars in these terms? Really makes you rethink the vampire/familiar relationship.

Okay I have to know. I’ve been wondering for a while but I have to know!!!! Why does Nandor try so hard to not touch Guillermo? Like there are so many small instances where Nandor will rip his hand away (‘Go Flip Yourself’ episode for example) and most recently with Guillermo placing his hand on the edge of the coffin. Nandor seems to WANT to just lightly Pat his hand but seems to pull away at the last second.

If it wasn’t for a reason they wouldn’t show so many scenes of it. Like WHAT IS IT!? Nandor isn’t opposed to physical contact as seen many times with hugs for example.

I, of course, want it to be some like repression of some kind but I have a feeling it has to do with maintaining the hierarchical bond between Master and Familiar. But I don’t know for sure. Please someone help me.

Okay but imagine that Nandor gets sick of laszlo and Guillermo hanging out and says “you are spending too much time together. László smells like you (the sweat sunscreen) and you (Guillermo) smell like a vampire!!!” Bruh like what - and he still wouldn’t get it - I want more jealous Nandor

Okay- thoughts on 5x04 newest episode as of 7/28

- love the Nandor work out 💪🏻 fit

- love the angsty, obviously riled-up Nandor (passive aggressive but amusing)

- LOVE the Colin heavy episode with him and Evie. He deserves to be appreciated on his own.

- Nandor is getting weirdly desperate and wants to be wanted so bad. Like girly why are you trying to get circumcised for a guy at the gym!? love the desperate little weirdo.

- Love the familial development for Nadja, honestly? Good for her.

That’s it so far I legit just watched it at 3:00 so I’ll sleep on it and probably rewatch for more thoughts.

Tell me what you’re thinking about it. I know it’s no “Pride Parade” but they can’t ALL be phenomenal.

I’ve had this feeling for a lil while now-

It’s been said over and over again in the show since legit 5x01 but like?? I don’t believe it. Supposedly Nandor will freak tf out and kill Guillermo and himself when he finds out, right? I genuinely don’t think this will happen. I hear how big of a deal this is in the vampire world but I legit think Nandor will be crushed. Saddened. Hurt. DEFINITELY. But I do not really think he’s going to go through with his threat/warning in 5x01 - he cares about Guillermo way too much. It will definitely cause a huge shift on their dynamic and relationship, no doubt. But I do not think Nandor will be able to go through with it.
