So this position when Top places Mew's hands on the shelf is actually pretty reminiscent to a St. Andrew's cross, which is a type of BDSM furniture which looks like a X and has restraints at the wrists and ankles.
Top puts Mew's hands on the shelf and he doesn't say anything. He doesn't have to. Mew knows what Top wants and he keeps his hands on the shelf the entire time. He does move his hands one shelf lower, but Top might’ve moved them there? There’s a continuity issue with how this scene was edited.
