Sorry to report ive turned around on the fallout show i still think episode 1 was really rough especially for lucy and im sure once i finish it ill have more criticisms but its really solid and Lucy has grown on me im not immune to women and her character works way better when shes away from the rest of her vault and maximus is carrying the show

ooooo just got to tell this HUGE asshole at work that he was wrong i am going to be riding this high for a week

I don't even know exactly how I feel about ascension in rain world, but it drives me up the wall when people equate it to suicide
#and I cant even argue because its up to interpretation. that being a plausible one#but the game does push you towards the idea of death being bad#I currently am holding the vague idea of the void fluid disintegrating you#but the void worms make that moment pleasant. if you have proper karma#youre removed from the cycle.... but there is a bigger overarching cycle that nothing can be removed from#its just that it's not remembered#the cycle that is escapable is the thing creatures become aware of. having memories of branching timelines#ascension removes the memories but they are still ultimately the same being once the Large cycle comes back around to them#probably very confusingly explained. thats why its tags lol#rw#rain world spoilers#and like. from the pov of those wanting to ascend. I think it's not 'I want to die' it's 'I want to be free from suffering'#for the ancients I think it's a bit more in a selfish way for most of them. like as if they're so enlightened that they earn this bliss#most ascension endings are very happy for the slugcats. so are their alternate endings. one is not 'the bad ending' in most cases#it also is weighted by how YOU feel about being removed from reincarnation. I personally would want to stay in the cycle. so I like the#alt endings more#but putting myself in the pov of the scuggies. I can see why they might pick either path#also idk if this is in the lore but... wouldnt suicide be a 'sin'? idk what they call them.. burdens?#it can be interpreted as not earning your 'freedom' and indulging in violence and possibly greed#of course theres two sides for the spirituality of rain world... that being how the ancients viewed it. versus how it actually is#and we do not know much about how it actually is. so.

#❄.txt#guess what: im not normal about this idea#vylad wanting to clean up genes wounds but 1 gene wouldnt let him and 2 thatd make everyone really suspicious#itd also make gene suspicious that vylad actually cares about him. which would entirely ruin vylads plan#eventually (like. after about 8 months of visiting and talking) vylad comes in when gene is half asleep#theres blood running down genes face and he has a really bad bloody black eye#vylad fucking Panics and immediately rushes over to help clean him up while asking what happened#gene is just like 'i dont want to talk about it' and vylad just goes 'okay' and continues cleaning up genes wound#they just kind of sit there with vylad hugging gene (after a couple mins of vylad trying to figure out where to hug him where it wont hurt)#after maybe ten minutes gene starts talking about dante#vylad just sits there listening as gene breaks down rambling about how much he misses his brother and how he wishes he could go back#eventually genes just like 'i dont think i can ever make up for what i did. im irredeemable. ive hurt and killed so many people. this is#only karma' and vylad just. sits there. silently. because he feels the exact same way about himself and doesnt know how to respond#after a few minutes he says 'sometimes you cant make up for things. sometimes you just have to move on and do better'#gene responds by falling asleep in vylads arms#a few days later vylad is like 'alright gene were getting you out of here' and has to basically drag gene out a window#'but i-' 'shhhhh. be quiet' 'but-' 'gene. shut up. im saving you whether you like it or not' '... ok'#vylad goes from 'i can fix him (i cannot)' to 'I FIXED HIM 🥳'#well. he hasnt fixed the Trauma and Guilt but that can wait :>#do u guys like the fanfic i dont have the skill to actually write

#tokyo revengers spoilers#like dont get me wrong the cycles of grief motif is cool and all#mikey inheriting shinichiros grief which led him to kill and now he feels like hes not able to stop himself from hurting others#but its like.. idk i wish it was more explained with regards to the intense amount of pain mikey has gone through#by virtue of being doted on his entire life that everyone close to him either tried to mindlessly protect him or use him#like im sorry but we just did not spend enough time with shinichiro as a character to have his grief have this much impact on the story#like if we go by wakas story like. most times shinichiro was referenced in the story by ppl remembering him#they were remembering like. past shinichiro. the shinichiro who never got to grieve over losing mikey because he never did#so like 😭 what does that even have to do with takemichi at that point#but also like ok if we're gonna go down this route wouldnt it make more sense for mikey to inherit shins karma after shin died?#like the plane thing is sooo... idk its just such a weird trigger 💀#aughh i love mikey so much 😭 i cant imagine how more determined he was to push everyone away once he learned the truth#like the pain of knowing you werent even supposed to be alive... and then the weight of knowing how many loved ones died for YOUR sake#i need to hug him i need him to be okayyy

She likes hanging out when shes not collecting teeth or just having some down time
You also explain to her that when you give someone karma they had it coming and deserved it
You like to hang out with her at the tooth palace(or whatever its called)
You have actually given abit of karma to pitch before
There have been times where you've had to put bunnymund and Jack in their place,she finds it funny whenever this happens
Her mini tooths love you to bits
Even when your not at the palace you'll always have a small group of them following you about

A guardian of karma sounds excitciting
He probally wouldnt be surprised if he was one of the first to receive karma though

He acts very much like a father figure to you

He was the one to reasure the others that you ment no Ill intention
You fit very well into the guardians
If north thinks you need a break he gives you a toy with a note with it
Let's you pet the reindeer
He allows you to watch the globe if your ever bored
