The tips of my ears twitch at the echoing sounds of laughter--multiple bursts of boisterous giggling. My eyebrows furrow in annoyance as I push my key into the lock. "Jin Dal!" The abrupt silence that followed my outburst had been filled with nervous tension. I slam the door shut behind me before gazing at the group of people presented before me. "Jin Dal...," I sigh in exasperation. His soft brown eyes stare at me, embarrassment evident in his trepidatious expression. He fiddled with the sleeves of his brown oversized sweater, and I could tell his mind was wracking about for a response that would satisfy the situation. "Haneul...this is Pan Haru and Yoo Hae Won," Jin Dal mumbled, "And this is my older sister, Jin Haneul." I frown as I turn to look at the two young women sitting on my couch tucked between Jin Dal on their right and two other males on their left.

The two girls were quite the attractive pair in their own right—porcelain skin, beautiful charcoal hair, petite figures and gorgeous summer outfits. Against my better judgement I felt a tinge of jealousy spark throughout my stomach and my face hardens. "What did I tell you about bringing people into my apartment without calling first?" I hiss at Jin Dal. His flinching figure almost causes me to let the whole thing go but one glance at his black-clad best friend and a new found anger nestled its way into my senses. Ever since Jin Dal started hanging out with my neighbor, Jeon Jungkook, and his friend, Bak Iseul, he's becoming less and less like the young man that I'd raised and more like the fuck-boy neighbor he chose to befriend. I didn't mind at first. It was quite fun beating the boy at Call of Duty and wowing him with my Americanized Korean recipes. But, then, the girls started trickling in, and at first they'd sneak them into my apartment or Jin Dal would sneak out at night to go over some girl's house with Jeon. However, I had caught Bak Iseul sucking on some chick's neck while the other two played each other in Mario Cart about a month and a half ago and now they openly just let random woman waltz into my place like it was no big deal. And usually I'd just walk away, let my baby brother grow up without me coddling him, but it was something in the way that Jeon was smirking at me that was pissing me off to my core.

"Y'know, I would love to come home from work without having a different broad making herself at home on my couch in my apartment every damn day! I raised you better than this, Moon—“ He shrinks in on himself at the nickname, "—I know that I did. I'm sick of seeing Jeon and Bak's faces every day. Have you even done your homework this week? Y'know, they're graduated, you're not—and I'm trying to get you there. But clearly I'm doing a bad job if he's the type of influence you choose. My food is always gone, my electric bill is through the roof and I just want to take a relaxing shower without hearing yelling in my fucking living room! Instead I'm losing respect for my baby brother because he's choosing a fuck-boy over me."

And maybe it was because of the jealousy that festered to mix with my annoyance but as I glanced throughout the surprised faces of my brother and his "guests", my eyes landed on Jeon and my hatred fluttered in my stomach as I glared. I storm into my room and slam my door shut. Hot, angry tears burn down my face. It wasn't fair. The attention that all those girls garnered from him should be for me. I can't help the fact that I was born with faults. I glanced at myself in my full-body mirror. I was dressed in a plain black short-sleeved crop top, some random blue jean shorts that I had found at the bottom of my drawer with a black belt and my black Itachi high top Converse. I can't be effortlessly pretty. Not if girls like him are his type. And at that thought my tears stop. Who was I just talking about? Effortlessly pretty for who?

Though, before I could ponder on my thoughts, I heard the soothing voice of Jungkook through my door. "It's okay, I'll talk to her." Then, there was sniffling. "Okay...but, please, don't make her more angry at me than she already is," I heard Jin Dal hiccup. Shit. I made him cry. I didn't mean to make him cry. Quickly, I wipe away my tears and used face oil to make sure that there were no tear streaks staining my skin. And there he was, bursting through my door without so much as a knock. I mentally sweat drop. Seriously. Who raised this kid? Jungkook said nothing, just stared as he staggered in the doorway, hand gripping onto the doorknob so tightly his tanned knuckles were turning white. We stood there staring at each other for God knows how long. His uneven breathing was deep and tranquil. Have I always had thoughts like this about him? Jungkook jumps slightly at my sudden sigh, "If you're not going to say anything, move out of the way. I need to speak to Moon and apologize." I hadn't taken no more than three steps towards him when he lurched forward and pressed his lips against mine.

I didn't move. I couldn't move. I was frozen stiff. But, despite my less than positive reaction, Jungkook's lips still moved against mine until he was breathless. "Is this what you're so angry over?" I glance up at him dazed. "Wha-what?" He chuckles. "I think I've figured it out before you." I blink, utterly confused by what he's trying to say. "You like me, don't you?" His grin grows wider. It takes an embarrassingly long time for my brain to register his words--my mind racking around the syllables--before my eyes grow wide in realization. "HUH—? What-what're you talking about, Jeon?" Suddenly, he grips my arm, tugging me forward, and he traps me into a tight embrace. "The way that you direct your eyes to look at me when you're chastising Jin Dal made me realize that there was something more. And maybe you haven't even realized it yet, but that's okay. I like you, too...and I'll wait." Before I could respond he's walking out of my room, leaving me dumbfounded in the Sea of my very mixed emotions. "HUH?"

What is the Décès Match:

Décès /de.sɛ/. French word for death. The décès match is a competition held between the three prestigious schools from each region of Malachi, wherein a group of students from each school are chosen to compete and fight for their lives and their honor. This match is held yearly. The school who previously won have the privilege to bring an extra member of their choice. For the schools who lost, the maximum number of members is four.

Rules of the Match:

All participants will be given a tracker in case the student gets lost in the arena.

The students are assigned points depending on their position.

Leader: 300 points

Attacker: 200 points

Trickster: 150 points

Healer: 100 points

Oracle: 50 points

For every student one kills, their points are transferred to the one responsible for their death. Ex: The Leader kills another team's oracle, from 300, the leader's score goes up to 350.

The team with the highest locked score will be the winners.

If the team had the highest score but did not lock them are disqualified.

Only the winning team will have access to exit the Arena.

Those who lose will be stuck and will have certain death after the Arena self destructs.

The winning team will receive medals, a fortune worth a lifetime and will be considered heroes of the region.

on the week of october 19, every trainees and artists of the company are officially invited to LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT’S YEARLY COSTUMED HALLOWEEN PARTY. if there’s a place to be on OCTOBER 31, it’s there! every year, legacy is known to host the biggest marketing event on that one day. brands compete ferociously to be the one that the company chooses! this year, it’s none other than SEOUL ESCAPE ROOM that won the bid.

on the day of the party, they are tasked to provide the decorations of the huge hall that can accommodate up to 300 people. they do not fail to deliver the best halloween day atmosphere. however, the twist is revealed as soon as the guests enter the room; everything is upside down, and therefore, the party is happening on what would be the ceiling of the room. the festivities will begin at 8PM and end at 3AM. servers will be passing through the venue during the entire evening with finger foods and non-alcoholic drinks. a dj will be in charge of the music, while a host will hold different events during the night (examples include a dance contest, noraebang battle, and more) and will crown the person with the best costume! a couple of photobooths are installed for everybody to make memories of this night. to prepare for the event, everybody will be freed from their schedules at 3PM on the 31st.

furthermore, upon entering the hall, every attendee will be given the same clue ‘you’. everywhere in the room, other clues have been hidden all over the place. those who can find them all will be able to create the sentence ‘who are you dressed as?’. once they think they have the answer, guests are invited to go to one of the cameras set everywhere around the room and give their answer. should they fail, they will receive a gush of air straight in the face. should they pass and tell who they are dressed as, they will be asked why did they pick this costume, then given a 50,000 won prepaid card gift to be spent anywhere.

since press and seoul escape room representatives will also be present on the scene, trainees and idols alike are requested to have fun but still keep it professional!

the videos will be released on SEOUL ESCAPE ROOM’s official youtube account starting from NOVEMBER 3.

NEW BUILDING VISIT: after months of announcing that legacy will be moving to a new building, the time has finally come. while the official move will be on november 1st, during the week of the 26th, staff, artists and trainees alike will be taken in group of 2 or 3 to visit the new building. the first to go will be PROJECT ORIGIN MEMBERS on monday. they will be taken on a full tour of the building and won’t notice any anomalies. from tuesday, the rest of the company will be taking the same tour, however, upon reaching the 10th floor (cafeteria level), they enter either a PURPLE, A LIGHT BLUE OR A DARK BLUE ROOM that the guide lock them in. they learn that they can only leave the rooms once they have solved the room!

for the PURPLE ROOM, people first have to find the numbers 2 0 0 8 hidden in a book to unlock a box that will give them their second clue; a candle. matches will be hidden around the room. if they light up the candle, it will quickly burn and reveal the final clue; girl. the three clues taken together hint the girlgroup ‘BLAZING’. to leave the room, they will have to enter the password (BLAZING) on an ipad that will only turn on once they have found out all three clues.

for the LIGHT BLUE ROOM, people first have to find the numbers 2 0 0 9 hidden in a book to unlock a box that will give them their second clue; a paper with three letters ‘X Y Z’. the paper will seem pointless until they finish completing a puzzle of the korean penisula. they will find the three letters next to the words nation (x), little (y), brother (z). all clues taken together hint the boygroup ‘DAEBAK SHIDAE’. to leave the room, they will have to enter the password (DBSD) on an ipad that will only turn on once they have found out all three clues.

for the DARK BLUE ROOM, people first have to find the numbers 2 0 1 0 hidden in a book to unlock a box that will give them their second clue; a small sun shaped light. upon further inspection, if somebody opens it, it will be written inside ‘she can only me seen when i’m asleep’. this hints to the lights needing to be turned off. once they are the final clue will be revealed on the ceiling ‘once i awaken, i complete it’. the three clues taken together hint the boygroup ‘HARU’ (day). to leave the room, they will have to enter the password (HARU) on an ipad that will only turn on once they have found out all three clues.

PAJAMA PERFORMANCE: in the meantime, PROJECT ORIGIN MEMBERS (without jung miso), are by MBC to perform in different locations for a special episode of Show! Music Core just as some seniors have before them. each unit will board a bus on monday late evening on the 26th; LGC GIRLS will head towards GWANGJU and LGC BOYS towards BUSAN. both units will rest at a hotel minutes away from the actual cities. their accommodations are a large room with mats for everybody to sleep together, a small cooking area and a bathroom. these types of rooms are very common on the countryside and not so out of place. however, they are in for a surprise when suddenly, the ceiling ascends and the walls go down, and they find themselves on a stage with 500 fans silently waiting for them. after confettis are thrown, the music begins: DUN DUN for the girls, followed by HIP SONG, and MIROH for the boys, followed by ROUND 2. (watch this video from 7:20 to have a proper idea of the prank). for LGC Boys, Seo Haneul and Bae Siwoo will appear on stage after the two songs to announce the prank, while for LGC Girls Park Haemi and Song Hanui of BLAZing will be the ones doing so. they will also break the news that there’s no Show! Music Core recording lined up.

emotions. like the reason he left the line up for 360°Z would suggest, he’s had issues with emotions and his mental health in general getting the best of him. feelings like home sickness and his general struggle with anxiety may make him work harder at first, but usually in the end ends with him freaking out and overexerting himself rather than push him to be better.

vocal range. he started vocal lessons at ten, a huge difference in comparison to his time in dance. his range is generally good, though up against many of his seniors and even fellow trainees he doesn’t have a comparable range. he has trouble breaking past the restraints of his voice despite the fact many of his coaches have seen potential for growth in this area.

approval seeking. there has never been a time he hasn’t strived to impress other people. even a lot of his personality has stemmed from his need to be liked. other peoples opinions affect him and he’s prone to changing things about himself to please others. in a profession where you are constantly being critiqued not only by fans, but also your superiors, peers, and the public as a whole it’s an extreme weakness, and most of the time he doesn’t realizing he’s bending to get other’s approval.

「The choreographic process may be divided into three phases」 — GATHERING THE MOVEMENT MATERIAL.

a boy and his schoolyard crush, finding comfort and love in each other years after classes have been over. running into someone you loved in high school and reconnecting is rare, and they rush into spending the rest of their lives together. their joy over getting pregnant only two years later is in describable, giving birth to a baby boy. they name him haneul, their little gift from god. haneul is six months old when his mother’s symptoms begin showing up. his father notices the way she’ll forget the little things, before it grows into something more. she forgets where she left haneul, whether she fed him. she forgets the things she’s known for years, mental changes as well as behavioral. his father knows by the time his son is two they can’t take care of him when he comes home from work to find him out in the rain, his wife sleeping upstairs with no memory of leaving him outside. jun haneul is put up for adoption the following month, a new home with foster parents, ones that can be there for him when his parents can’t.

he meets maryanne and robert walsh for the first time the next year, when he’s three. his earliest memory, though in fragments, is the way they ran to hug him after he’d gotten off the plane in america, his sponsor letting go of him so he can meet the people who adopted him, his family. three older brothers and one older sister. it seems like it’d take him longer to adjust, a new country, a new language, new people. but his family showers him with so much love and care that it doesn’t take him long to warm up to them, to open up and play with his siblings. he considers them his parents, his family, easily.

( I. ) he hasn’t been living with the walsh’s but a few months when he finds out his new best friend julia takes dance classes, and when he comes home from her house that day he’s immediately begging to his parent’s, deciding his career aspiration is ballerina. of course, they give in, signing up for ballet and tap dance classes with his friend. his first passion turns into something broader, and as he gets older he finds his passion lies within more than just ballet, it’s dance. after school he’s at different classes—hip-hop, jazz, anything they let him take, he took—or coming to play around with the older dancers. ( II. ) his mom notices the symptoms when he’s nine, and before a dance recital tells her he’s worried about an earthquake when he’s never even experienced one. she writes it off after soothing him, thinking it could just be performance nerves. but the worrying gets worse. from vomiting on test days, to trembling while in cars, to the increasingly sleepless nights he’s going through. a year after she notices the first sign, he’s diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder by both her and another psychiatrist. ( III. ) middle school brings a new interest, kpop. from bands like heart2heart to diamond, he hangs their posters on his walls and follows the fansites, talking his parents into driving out of state just to see concerts. he’s never had a real desire to explore his heritage, but the further he gets into his love for the music industry there, the more he has a desire to be embrace where he’s from.

( IV. ) high school is the strangest of them all, going to advanced classes while trying to juggle dance and clubs. it’s hard, but he manages it until his sophomore year. when he goes to take his drivers test, he has a panic attack, locking himself in the bathroom and crying until his sister comes back to get him. it’s rare that he gets so caught up in his worries that he loses his grip on what’s going on, and it’s his first major breakdown. ( V. ) the next year, he drops his advanced placement classes and leaves all his extra-curriculars except dance. he doesn’t tell his parents about anything but the classes, instead he uses the time he’d usually be at theater or anchor meetings to stay out late. he starts going to parties, getting into drinking and smoking. he chooses to do instead of think like he always has. ( VI. ) it takes him three months, a powerpoint, and testimonies from his friends and siblings to convince his parents to let him audition. he’s set on crystal media. two of his favorite groups originate from the company, but his parents force him to look more into the companies than just the idols he likes from them. it falls between galaxy entertainment and crystal, finally deciding to go with galaxy for their music current music style.

— THE FINAL STRUCTURE.

his audition turns into a private meeting, and then finally an acceptance. he’s ecstatic, and he doesn’t think of the negatives in his plans. training is more rigorous for his voice than he thought it would be, but he’s spent years perfecting his dance and his body. his worries don’t fall on how he’s exhausted himself, he can handle exhaustion and sleepless nights. he can handle working on school online and taking korean classes all night, and spending his time training in the day. he wants to prove himself, show that he can keep up with the people who have been training for years. and he does, until emotions catch up to him. he manages to stay intact until he’s officially mentioned in the rumors for 360°Z. he’s worked with them for the past few months, knowing he’s getting ready to debut. he’s excited, he likes them, but then worries consume him. the fact he’s away from his family, the fact he hasn’t slept a full night since coming. the breaking point comes with the attention he gets, how within a day people have found his social media, every video he’s ever been in. he knew it was coming, he himself had once been one of the fans who would look for anything he could find about an idol, but surreal feeling of it actually happening was a drastic change from his expectation. in the middle of a dance practice he feels his chest tighten, and he can’t breath. he doesn’t know when he loses reality, but when he comes back the music is off and people are staring at him. the only thing haneul can think to do is run to the nearest bathroom. he manages to explain the first panic attack away, but when he has the second one, no one lets him explain it away. he’s had little ones, but never any as difficult to get through as those and his friends, his manager-to-be, everyone can tell he isn’t okay. after conversations with his parents, and his superiors, it’s decided he’d be removed from the line-up and would go back to training until he, and the company, felt he was ready to debut.
