Soooo I made a cosplay for my Wizard

It’s inspired by the Stag Lord’s Cape and Spellwright’s Druidic Cowl, so Kimberly’s main questing outfit. And yes, that is the emblem of the silver rose on the pocket :D

I wore it to the Fort Amherst fantasy festival last week

Wizard101 Merle Ambrose Cosplay

I hadn't seen many Merle Ambrose cosplays online or at conventions so I decided to make my own to wear. Love how it turned out. What do you think?

BTW I was a conjuror for this year's renfaire

Hat, corset, sleeves, and shoe coverings are all homemade - peep the Myth symbols, they were recreated from screenshots of the game!

HELLO KIDS here is a small progress/sneak peek at my halloween costume/cosplay!! It’s been… idk, 5? 6 years?? Since I’ve sewn or done anything cosplay related, so I’m just happy I’ve been able to make any of this :’D

If it isn’t obvious I’m gonna be… uh… that-wizard-girl-from-the-og-loading-screen! Her design was simple enough I figured i could pull it off decently lol- pretty happy with how it’s going so far! Mainly i have to do the shaw/cape and then iron on the star/moon decals.

Also, the hat (laying on the floor there lol) may look close to done but… it isn’t lol, so if i don’t have that done by Halloween you’ll have to take that up with my chronic illnesses unfortunately because that’s the real monster this fall season let met tell y’all-

No one will probably get it in game, but I dedicated myself to a Toph cosplay for the wizard101 fashion runway competition thing. And apparently you can't go without a wand equipped so i had to make do with the hulk hands.

Video game you’ve spent the most time on? This one's hard. Steam says Terraria, but I don't actually know how many hours I dumped into replaying Dragon Age: Origins over and over and over again in the days when I had a pirated copy. Alternatively, I have dumped a lot of time into twilight princess. My heart says It's probably origins, since its only 90 hours behind terraria. Video game character you want to/have cosplayed? Hmm. I've only ever cosplayed Roman Torchwick and since he's in the rwby deckbuilder I guess he can count. I wouldn't mind doing a wizard101 cosplay, probably the main character unless I turn hot as hell someday and could pull off Morganthe.

WAIT WAIT WAIT All the HARD MODE gear just dropped in test realm and there’s only 1 variation of the boss gear. Kingsisle said at the beginning of the year that they want to make more gender neutral gear, boys wearing dresses and girls wearing suits. Does this mean male players will be able to wear the gear dropped by Morganthe as well???

Hey wizardfolk! I’m back from my quest in Lemuria with plenty of Dasein photos to share! This little cosplay (ish) shoot was so so fun. Many thanks to my partner @tatiana-starwalker for being the best cameraman I could ask for 💚

The Making Process: Merle Ambrose Cosplay

The making process:

I first bought the supplies for the project such as fabric, ribbon, felt, air dry clay, glue, etc. I luckily had some materials already such as paint. I then found a pattern for the robe on Etsy. It cost some money but was worth it. My mum helped me sew everything together such as the robe, sash and hat. I then added the star details to the hat and robe. At the same time, I made the staff using an old broomstick. I shaped some foil into the top part of the staff, then covered it in clay and added details. I used a Christmas bauble and fishing line for the floating orb on the staff. I then added painted details on the robe, hat and staff. I made the beard by sewing a wig to a costume beard to make it fuller and long enough. I then shaped it using scissors and hair gel. The monocle was a last minute edition. It was made using a cardboard ribbon roll, clay and paint. I got it to stay on my face using wire that was tucked under the wizard hat. There are a couple of changes I would make to the whole cosplay but overall I was really happy with how it turned out. It was so fun to wear and I am hoping to wear it to more conventions in future.

throwback to that time i cosplayed as Bat my beloved in wizard101 for Halloween. 

Unfortunately due to KI being stupid and changing how the Goat Horns hairdo looks on girls now this stitch cant be perfectly replicated anymore.
