20 questions!
thanks for the tags @gaeasun @saltsanford @purgetrooperfox <3 love you guys
How many works do you have on AO3?
75
What’s your total AO3 word count?
238,592 (ooh I'mma celebrate when I hit a quarter million)
What fandoms do you write for?
mostly Star Wars! I wrote fic for some other fandoms early on but we don't talk about those
What are your top five fics by kudos?
your heartbeat's a countdown - crack fic in which the Jedi know the clones are a trap and try to avoid them at all costs
Necessary - a whumpy Voltron Klance fic I wrote after the first season (before the show went to hell)
their days are darker - in which Wolffe doesn't know how to drop anything and Fox is having the worst two days of his life
the broken-hearted rang their steeple bells - tropey Witcher kinkmeme fill that for some baffling reason has tons of kudos
exploitation, hesitation - short oneshot in which Fox assumes General Kenobi is just like his natborn superior officers and reacts accordingly
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I used to reply to every single one (unless it was just emojis) but then I fell off and now I feel bad :( I read them all though! and they are so treasured! one day I will make it through the backlog
What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
ooh see despite writing a lot of angst, I almost always write happy endings, so maybe I'll take no gold, I'll take no silver (please read the tags on that one). maybe spit some blood at the camera is pretty sad too, actually
What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
all of them!! yayyyy! even if it's not spelled out, I usually resolve things because that's the world I want to live in! every fic is a fix-it fic
Do you get hate on fics?
not really, mostly just people asking when I'm going to finish, although I have seen people complaining that my version of Fox/Corries is banal and overdone which like yeah. I agree. but my brain won't let me move on.
Do you write smut? If so what kind?
hell yeah I do! I don't know what "what kind" means - I write characters fucking, never x reader and rarely OCs; and it's usually somewhat kinky because I just can't not
Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I've written a few fusions/AUs - elysium is as far as to is a Gladiator AU, everyone wants a double feature is a Pacific Rim AU, and more human than human is a Bladerunner AU. but I've never done a straight-up crossover, although there are a few bouncing around in my brain (namely, the GAR joins the Decepticons and another where Boromir meets Rex and falls in love)
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
yeah I've had real problems with people plagiarizing fics, from lifting whole sections of dialogue to copying really specific scenes
Have you ever had a fic translated?
nope, but one got a podfic
Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
yeah I cowrote hold me like a grudge and sometimes a parrot talks (unfinished) with the fabulous @postapocalyptic-cryptic!
What’s your all-time favourite ship?
oh man. I love Quinlan/Fox to death. but I will admit that I was Stucky trash from the very beginning.
What’s a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
ooh there's a lot. Mace/Fox fic, sometimes a parrot talks, deaged Corries, chroma...
What are your writing strengths?
hm. I don't know. I think I'm good at characterization and dialogue?
What are your writing weaknesses?
fukcin plot beyond "there is hurt and then there is comfort". and also explaining more about people's emotions, like, I know what they're feeling but I need to tell other people
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I just use google translate, I'm sorry
First fandom you wrote for?
oh boy oh fuck. The first fandom I ever wrote for was Phantom of the Opera when I was in eighth grade. go ahead and laugh
Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
uhhh. aaa? um. probably unexplain the unforgivable, but I also really liked how a once and future sun turned out
no pressure tags for @postapocalyptic-cryptic @meerlichtz @milfmisspiggy @catboydogma @jaigeye

Content creator 2021 wrapped tag game
Thank you for tagging me @roifernandez
Cut this into what works for you. Want to do only one instead of five? Do it. Tag 2 people? Do it. This game is not your mum or the Apple App store to tell you what to do. But there are a couple of rules:
RULE 1: Review your creations over 2021. Tag some gifmakers/creators, friends and strangers to get them to do the same.
RULE 2: Link to the content, commentary optional.
Countdown
5 (or more!) creations from others that made you smash the reblog button hard, closely followed by your ‘insp’ tag or ‘fave tag’. Link to sets that started conversations, outstanding composition, colouring, etc.
4 creations of which you’re proud. These are goals you scored. Nothing to do with notes.
3 creations others loved. Include the one that one that got most notes, great comments, or the classic ‘how dare you!’
2 creations that stretched you as a creator: style, colouring, blending, text, etc. include the one that should have got more notes.
1 creation of yours that you find most aesthetically pleasing to the eye and self AND 1 creation that broke and (maybe remade you) as a creator – we all have that one.
0 the creation that never was because nothing was working that day.

Biscuit’s Favorite Games
When it comes to a great game, there are a few factors at play. “Is the gameplay good? Is the story great? What cool memories do you have associated with the game? Did the game leave an everlasting impression?” All of these I feel are what help create a favorite game for a person.
Now normally people would countdown to their number one game and although I do have a number one game. There are many other games I enjoy as well and have left impressions on me that I carry with me to this day.
With that I’m not going to do a “traditional” countdown, but rather give my favorites before going to my all-time favorite (which for some of you shouldn’t be a surprise because I’ve gone on record with it a few times already). With that, let’s go over some of my personal favorite games.
Tumblr media
Halo: Reach
I love the Halo series. I love the setting, I love the idea of you being a badass super soldier, and  I love the soundtrack. I have more memories with the Halo series playing online with my friends and Halo: Reach for me has the best memories.
We would often get large groups going into big team matches and when we couldn’t get a large group we would go into the small team games and have tons of fun with either matchmaking or custom matches. There are many times we would stay up until 5 or 6 a.m playing Reach. Reach also spawned off quite a few inside memes with my friends, memes that we still quote to this day. With Microsoft’s recent announcement of Halo: Reach being re-released on PC, we’re looking forward to remembering the good times as we exchange teabags with a new generation of Spartans.
But aside from multiplayer, Reach also had in my opinion the best campaign. It was emotional, it had some amazing epic set pieces, it was challenging, and most importantly Noble 6 was your Spartan model from multiplayer which gave a more personal attachment to the story.
Tumblr media
Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal
I was on the ground floor of the Pokemon Hype in the 90s. When the follow-up to the amazing Blue/Red/Yellow came out, many of use were ready to embark on a new Pokemon adventure in a new region eager to catch the new Pokemon.
It made great improvements from the original game, adding additional Pokemon types, a story with Team Rocket trying to make a comeback, and the biggest surprise of them all, going back to Kanto and fighting the Kanto Pokemon Gym Leaders. This made the world of Pokemon feel much larger and connected. Ever since then, it’s been a highly requested feature to have a previous region in another version revisited or ot have a nice dense post game. Although, revisiting regions has yet to happen since Silver/Gold/Crystal, each Pokemon game has been released with a good sizeable post game adventure to embark on.
The remakes HeartGold and Soul Silver are just as fantastic.
Tumblr media
Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening
There are games that we complete at 100%, then there are games we complete until there’s nothing left. Devil May Cry 3 was the first game that I ripped apart inside and out in terms of content. I completed every single difficulty as both Dante and Vergil, acquired every skill, every alternative costume, and every challenge.
I did it because I had a lot of fun with the game’s combat and it was also my first Devil May Cry game. How I got the game was interesting as well. A friend of mine had Devil May Cry 3 and a relative of theirs gifted them another copy of the game for their birthday unbeknownst to them that my friend had the game already. They asked if I wanted their extra copy and that’s how I got into the Devil May Cry series. One day Devil May Cry 5, one day.
Tumblr media
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
The Metal Gear Solid series is one of my favorite game series of all-time. The first entry of the series for the PS1 taught me so many things. In fact, the original Metal Gear Solid also greatly influenced my playstyle, which is emphasis on stealth.
Metal Gear Solid 3 was a great game that challenges your stealth skills. Not only did you have no radar, but you had to be more aware of your surroundings. Not only could you encounter guards, but you could potentially encounter wildlife in the jungle that could and will also harm you. You would also have to eat to keep your stamina up, wear the proper camouflage for the environment for optimal stealth, and you would have to heal injuries through various methods. All of these considerations added a new challenge to the stealth game to where the systems served as an extra layer rather than an annoying chore to keep up with.
Tumblr media
Mega Man X4
This game was actually my first exposure to the Mega Man X series. I was already familiar with the classic series and I was eager to play this particular game and learning what the deal with having the X in the title was. It was then I learned that you could play as two different characters, the ever familiar blue bomber, which my 8 year old thought, “Ok, that must be a new model of Mega Man.” However, Zero was what immediately caught my eye, a robot using a lightsaber (which I would later learn it was called Z Saber) as an attack, sign me up!
The gameplay was super fun and there are slight differences in the story depending on who you play as. Granted it’s clear that this entry was catered for Zero rather than X, its still a really fun game no matter which character you picked. Similar to its predecessors, the game has also aged really well graphically.
Tumblr media
Skies of Arcadia
To me, this is the perfect summer adventure in gaming. You’re a Robin Hood-esque air pirate who comes across a woman from a thought to be lost civilization. This was a turn based RPG where you had use the correct element on your weapon to effectively fight in battles. Not only that but there was also ship battles where you can engage in fighting other Airships.
It’s also a game that I feel constantly gets forgotten by Sega whenever they do Dreamcast collection releases. Skies of Arcadia is great and is one of the few games that I will 100% buy whenever it finally gets the HD remaster that it deserves.
Tumblr media
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
As far as the Legend of Zelda series goes I love every entry. There are a couple that I don’t like as much, but they still have qualities about them that I find enjoyable. Although Link to the Past was the first Zelda game I played, Ocarina of Time was the first one I would ever own and complete to 100%. At the time of its release it was a open area for you to explore with tackling temples and finding secrets. It also had a neat time travel mechanic with the story having some areas that would have effects on the future.
Tumblr media
Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season One
This is a title that revived the the point and click adventure as well as popularize the episodic format. I got into this game during my Walking Dead craze and this game touched me in an unexpectedly emotional way. So much so I got teary eyed on the season finale and if a game manages to invoke such an emotional response within you, you know it did something right. I got attached to Lee and Clementine and the writing for the season was superb. Choices were respected and although there were many events that still happened no matter the choice, it was more reflected in the dialogue and for what Telltale was trying to accomplish, I thought it worked well.
Tumblr media
Borderlands 2
Everyone that loves Borderlands 2, loves Handsome Jack and he’s an amazing video game villain. However, I do have a personal connection that cemented this as a favorite. This is a game that my wife and I would completely co-op with no handicap of any kind. What do I mean by a handicap. When it comes to playing co-op games on PC I am hopeless with a mouse and keyboard, where as my wife is completely running the show. Similar to consoles, my wife is hopeless with a controller and I’m taking point.
I used to not be much of a PC gamer. When I got a Windows 10 laptop my wife and I decided to get Borderlands 2 as Windows 10 allowed you to plug in a Xbox One controller without having to download any additional programs or anything. My wife was mouse and keyboard on her PC, and I was plugged in with a controller on my laptop and it changed everything. We no longer had to babysit one another, we could go into a camp of enemies and come out with barely a scratch on either of us. We even got to better understand one another’s playstyle and it complimented each other very well for an amazing co-op experience. Now I have evolved more into a PC gamer and have started playing so more co-op games with my wife.
Tumblr media
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt
This is a game that I’ve been replaying and going back through since I played it in 2016. The detail of how character dialogue reacts to your decisions is just amazing. Also the way you go about fighting monsters is amazing as well. You have to study them, research them in your bestiary, drink the appropriate potions, apply the proper blade oil, use the propers signs and bombs in the fight. It gives you the sense that you are preparing for a fight.
CD Projekt Red used a branching story writing program called Articy Draft. It’s a program I myself actually use in my day job. I’m constantly going back to this game and studying it to try to imagine how the writers wrote certain decision points and how it branched out within Articy. Making different decisions and doing quests in a different order are just some of the things I do to further study this game in how they approach it in dialogue with Articy.
Tumblr media
All Time Favorite - Final Fantasy X
As I mentioned in a few of my posts Final Fantasy X is my favorite game. I love everything about this game: the story, the setting, the characters, the combat system, the sphere grid progression system and the soundtrack. The way that Square had the player go through the world and learn more about it was genius and allowed for a deeper connection between Tidus and the player. There have been other games that have done this method of relaying plot information to the player, but to me Final Fantasy X was the one that got it right.
One day I will review this game, but I have no plans to review it for a good long time.
Those are my favorite games! I’d love to hear some of your favorites as well!

Something from The Sims 3, like zodiac signs (maybe even a hole new astrological set of signs based on Sims itself!), and maybe more interactions sim/sim.

Very very sunny and clear. The sky is bright blue, but the temperature is not that high.
14. what new traits would you like to see in the new add-on?
Mmh, I don’t care much about traits tbh. Although I would like to have a weather forecaster career or something xD
15. do you like to play with supernatural creatures like vampires and aliens? and if so, would you like to have witches/fairies/elves?
I played them a lot more on Sims 3. Maybe adding other races could improve a lot the game, yep.

I was tagged by the amazing @bonkyboinkybucky 💙💙💙
1. What was the last thing you had in your mouth?
I may have been eating my ice in my iced water. Oops?
2. Do you sleep naked?
Like there’s any other way to live? Pssh. buahahahaha! Honestly you wouldn’t even know I sleep like a burrito under 4 blankets.
3. Worst physical pain you’ve ever been in?
Little spiked demonic ruptured cysts tearing you apart from the inside out? I can’t even say kidney stones are a close second. I’d take one a week of those... My pain tolerance is wicked high. I have broken a lot of bones, even had a swelling in a cast crisis, nope, nothing like the severe PCOS struggles.
4. Favorite place you’ve been?
Marshfield, Mass. If I had to stay in the U.S. for the rest of my life that little suburb on the coast south of Boston is where I want to be. Unfortunately, since my cousin’s suicide I don’t think I’ll have the opportunity to go back. My family that was still up there moved away.
5. How late did you stay up last night?
Who said I went to bed? Teachers in the time of the Rona ain’t slept since March tbh.
6. If you could move somewhere else where would it be?
Denmark, hands down. In a dream world I would be creating an archive on the Danish resistance during the German occupation.
7. When was the last time you cried?
It’s a mental breakdown *dramatic recorder plays Final Countdown off key* Listen y’all I know I’m hilarious, but I got issues. Every day is the hot mess express.
8. Profile picture?
Stressed but blessed bebe Evans
9. What’s your favorite season?
Winter. I love snuggling while it snows outside. Y’all ain’t ready for the coming winter fics.
10. If you could talk to anyone right now who would it be?
My therapist but I’m poor lmao (bruhhh this was my boobears answer but SAME!)
11. Are you a good influence?
I’ve lived a life backwards so it depends on what you think I should be a role model of?
12. Does pineapple belong on pizza?
I don’t eat pizza... so...
13. You have the remote what do you put on?
I’m always watching something. I’ve been rewatching Witcher, rewatching the MCU films, and started Haunting of Bly Manor. If I’m trying to sleep but upset I might put on Bright Star or Peter Pan.
14. First concert?
My first ever was probably a Warped Tour. I went to I think 4 in a row in my younger years. I also have extremely massive gaps in my memory so I couldn’t tell you. I do remember at my first WT I had waited all night to see The Used and when they started I got shoved into a mosh pit and banged around and stopped to the point that I had to get helped out and lost my glasses. For those of you that don’t know I’m legally blind without le assistance. The world literally just goes into a flat out poof gone erased blur. So... never got to see them.
15. Favorite foods?
A perfect day would start with a chocolate filled croissant and an Americano. An iced lemonade tea for lunch, with an arepa con carne mechada, queso, y platanos for lunch. Dinner is a red wine and every staple of Lebanese food on earth. Close of the day with some homemade apple pie or cheese cake.
16. When you were a kid what did you wanna be when you grew up?
Oh, I love this story. So you know in elementary school when you have “career day” and you dress up like what you want to be? Well, my teacher knew my mom was an EMT. Me? I wanted to be an ambulance. Ya girl loved transformers, power rangers, comics. I was dead ass set to be an ambulance when I “grew up”. Well, Mah helped me make a cardboard box look like an ambo, added suspenders to it so I could wear it to school. The teacher was all “AWWW! You wanna be an EMT like your mom.” My little rude ass snapped, “NO! I’m going to be an ambulance.” Then I got an ‘oh honey’ speech that traumatized me, but it made me decide I wanted to be a doctor which developed to surgeon, then neurosurgeon, than pediatric neurosurgeon. I studied relentlessly hoping to follow that career path. Alas, neither was meant to be.

Netflix holiday films: How ‘Christmas Prince: Royal Baby’ ranks
CLOSE

A DJ and a knight in shining armor have made Netflix’s slate of holiday romantic comedies something to fa-la-la-la fall in love with.
This week, the streaming service will release the final of its five new seasonal features, which kicked off with “Holiday in the Wild” on Nov. 1, followed by “Let It Snow” a week later. “Holiday Rush” (Nov. 28) and “The Knight Before Christmas” (Nov. 21) –  top our nice list. Compared to the others, these movies stand high on a glistening, snow-covered peak.
Where does the latest movie, “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby” (Dec. 5) fall on our list that we made and checked twice? Here’s how the jolly features rank.
In Kacey Musgraves’ Christmas special, her grandma steals the show: ‘This is just Nana’s world’
5 holiday movies that are really kind of depressing (including ‘Last Christmas’)
1. “Holiday Rush”
“Rush” Williams (Romany Malco) is a successful DJ whose cushy life gets a record-scratch when his station is bought and he loses his job. His four children, who have grown accustomed to a certain way of living, have a hard time adjusting when they’re forced to downsize. Leaning on his producer Roxy Richardson (Sonequa Martin-Green, whose smile lights up the screen like a Christmas light display), they hatch a plan to get Rush back on top.
This movie provides the type of heartwarming tingle one might experience arriving at a beloved relative’s front door. It underlines the message of the season, that it’s loved ones who matter, not material things.

2. “The Knight Before Christmas”
The fish-out-of-water tale, reminiscent of 2001’s “Kate & Leopold” starring Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman, brings joy to the world. Vanessa Hudgens’ Brooke is an Ohio teacher who’s been schooled by her ex with a wandering eye to think true love is nothing but a fantasy. Through the sorcery of an old crone, Sir Cole (Josh Whitehouse) time-travels from England in 1334, where he must complete a quest so he can become a “true knight.”
After crossing paths with Brooke, his old-world ways remind her that there are good men still out there. Brooke and Cole’s slow-blooming romance is an enjoyable, captivating simmer.  As an added bonus, “Entourage” alum Emmanuelle Chriqui, who plays Brooke’s sister Madison, brings a delightful warmth to the screen. Get ready to be called out by Netflix’s official Twitter account, because this movie is definitely worthy of repeated viewing.

Review: ‘The Crown’ Season 3 is missing a lot of the Queen

3. “A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby”
Aldovia’s royals Queen Amber (Rose McIver) and King Richard (Ben Lamb) are expecting a royal heir at the start of the third installment of the “Christmas Prince” films, but that isn’t the only “bump” the pair encounters. Before a ceremonious signing of a peace treaty with ally country Penglia, the document goes missing.
If the drama had been heightened, “Royal Baby” may have really ruled. Unfortunately, the flick is cheesier than a holiday cheese board and offers little in terms of actual excitement.

Kristin Davis’ “Holiday in the Wild” character meets Rob Lowe’s in Africa. (Photo: Ilze Kitshoff)
4. “Holiday in the Wild”
This film is worthy of a silver bell. Kristin Davis (“Sex and the City”) plays Kate, a non-practicing veterinarian who’s become a lady who lunches. When her husband walks out because he no longer loves her, Kate ventures solo to Africa, on a second honeymoon she’d planned, where she meets Derek (Rob Lowe).
Despite its title, the movie is pretty predictable. You don’t need “Long Island Medium” Theresa Caputo’s powers to see where a movie like this is going, and “Holiday in the Wild” leaves something to be desired. At times, the drama falls flatter than an African savanna. However, it is a fun wink that Kate’s son Luke is played by Lowe’s son, John Owen.

“Let It Snow” centers on many teens characters, including those portrayed by Matthew Noszka, left, Kiernan Shipka and Mitchell Hope. (Photo: Steve Wilkie/Netflix)
5. “Let It Snow”
Compared to the other two flicks, this movie feels the most different from the typical Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas movies. Focused on high school students caught in a snow storm on Christmas Eve, its ensemble cast includes  Kiernan Shipka, Isabela Merced, Shameik Moore, Odeya Rush, Liv Hewson, Mitchell Hope, Matthew Noszka and Jacob Batalon. Joan Cusack plays a peculiar tinfoil-clad, smartphone-averse tow-truck driver, who we would’ve loved to learn more about.
The teen characters are relatable enough, experiencing things young adults do: being in love with your best friend, coming into your sexuality, relationship issues. But “Let It Snow” is missing a certain X factor, which for the season we will dub Christmas magic, that could’ve had it pulling into first place via one-horse open sleigh.
New on Netflix for November 2019: ‘The King,’ ‘The Crown’ and ‘The Irishman’
