This was a super fun and surprisingly low stress part of my Vax build! Craft foam base, foam clay on top, woodburning pen for texture, and sooo much painting!

Ships:
OTPs are currently Perc’ahlia, Imodna and Laudmoore in that order. I usually only read fics of these ships bar rare exceptions.* NOTPs that are common enough to be worth mentioning are Widobrave, Widojest, Riprolo, anything remotely incesty or toeing the grooming line. I don’t want to interact with this content don’t fuckin make me.
Ships that aren’t my absolute feral loves, buuut that I’d be happy to write for are man. All canon CR ships, plus Beaujester, Bashter, Kiki/Vax/Gil, Callowmoore, Dorym, Chetney/Fearne, Widomauk, Kiki/Vex/Percy [with a huge *], onesided Tary/Percy, all fun! Also getting into the rarepair of Cassandra/Laudna for Reasons, and any Ace!Cass x NPCs her age.
Beyond that, just, y’know. Use basic critical thinking. Do I really need to write ‘hey! Don’t send me, a stranger, things you wouldn’t talk to a stranger about’? I have faith in y’all not to, for now ktrgnkrtnkgn

Another soulmate CR for you Campaign One two separate asks.
Reader finds out she is a soulmate with Vax shortly after he becomes the Raven Queen’s Champion. How does it change their relationship? Will the Raven Queen alter the arrangement because of the Mark or something else entirely?
Second request, Reader finds out she is Scanlan’s soulmate, how does he react?
Oh anon I do have a fic ready to go (soon WIP 😆 😝) for Vax and soulmates au, so this is definitely added in there

Welcome to my next project: Champion Vax’ildan from Critical Role!
Now that Loki is finished, I am setting my sights to…another leather build 😅😅😅 As with most of my projects though, I’m going to be working on some new skillsets, including lights (terrifying!) and something resembling wings that may or may not actually fold out depending on if my concept of physics is in line with real physics 🤣 I’m also going to be doing a fun bone-texture mask which I am PUMPED to try out!
This is going to be another long-term build that I fully intend to take my time with to get it to the level that’s in my brain; no con deadlines here! I’ve already started gathering materials and doing some tests with fabric feathers which you can see in one of the slides!
Design is my own, but I have to give a shoutout to the artists who have given me permission to pull together elements from their work — @jennydolfen, @llysaan, and @anafigreen .
I never expected to be a CR cosplayer, but here we are with my latest character obsession! Hype!

✨New cosplay build announcement!✨
Some of you may have noticed me falling hard for The Legend of Vox Machina, and of course Vax’ildan is my favourite tragic bird boy. I did a kind of closet cosplay with pieces I already had, but now I am fully invested and want to tackle something full of textures and very challenging!
This is my design in that I’ve put all the elements together, but I absolutely need to credit some amazing artists who were kind enough to give me permission to take inspiration from their work! Much of this design is based on @jennydolfen’s Vax art, and it takes elements from pieces by @llysaan and @anafigreen as well.
I have so many ideas for texture work in this, and yes, I want to dive into some leds and lights as well and see what I can make a reality!
This will probably not be started until much later in the year, as I’m deep in my concept Loki process, but I was too excited to not share beforehand, and I hope you’ll all enjoy the journey!

I made excellent progress on my mask today! I really love working with foam clay—now I have to let it dry for a couple days, which is the hardest part! Then I can go back in and sand/smooth and add some smaller details with a dremel. 🙌

I’ve been collecting fabrics for Vax and I am SO excited for these! When you have a costume that’s basically all one colour, playing with different textures can really give it depth and dimension!
Turns out I’ve veering more towards charcoal/antique silver than true black, and that’s fine by me!

♻️ A scrapped idea for your current WIP
I'm currently working on a Kyssandra fic for @burr-ell, and wanted really badly to include a scene of Kynan handling Simon during the year off, with him and Cass befriending the noodle-belt... until just twenty minutes ago when I found out Kynan does not summon Simon ONCE during the year break he has him! Not once! And it's canon, so I'm reluctant to mess with that even though I am a snake person and want characters to interact with snakes in my fics. Huffs.
🤔 What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?
I'd love to do a tiny little follow-up to One for sorrow, Two for joy. Because in Campaign 3, we've seen the god are sending out warnings and pleas to their worshipers - and to others. For instance, the Raven Queen sends half of the Hells a vision of Vax, in orb form, screaming in agony.
... In that AU, I think the Raven Queen would have reached out to Vex, her former Champion, first. And I don't think it would have gone well.
