This really was the best thing Eda could have done for Luz. Teaching her spells individually is one thing. Teaching her how to find spells is another.
Eda might not know much about spell glyphs herself if they’re not common knowledge, and she doesn’t really need to. If Luz knows how to look for spell glyphs on her own, she’ll become much more self-sufficient. And she won’t ever be truly trapped, because the very world around her will show her the way out.

assdfghhjk ok ok ok so like the reincarnation thing has me all assdfghh since Astarion was so young and died at only 39 (God that hurts my heart still) and I wanted to include him being unable to understand that he had a past life where he was loved once. My Tav's past life is the Redeemed Dark Urge run and her name was Aeryis. For defying Bhaal, her next elven lifetime has her as the Chosen of Jergal (LOVED that hc omg I was so excited!!) and as for Astarion, the past life who had loved Aeryis, he was a male drow elf named Rua. Rua is Elven for "star"

37. A kiss to show the world they belong to each other.
As weathered as it is, the sapphire sparkles, sits there in all its splendor, wrapped snug around a delicate, pale finger. Glistens in the light of the moon, which basks them on the walls of the Castle. Sprinkled among the slow lapping of waves, he swears he hears the soft affirmations of his mother as his thumb brushes over the gem—See, Johnny, you found the one you have been looking for.
Indeed, he did.
“It’s beautiful, John…” The gentle voice pulls his gaze up to look with waterlogged pools of silver. She’s smiling, and it’s more radiant than the sun itself.
“Ma never took it off.” Hancock grins in return, cups her cheek and gently wipes away the tears that’ve escaped. “When she gave it to me, she always said to save it for ‘the one’. I’ll know them when I find them and all that.”
Esper’s waterworks go overtime. Like that wasn’t a response she was expecting. Adoration and love gleam from her like an open book. She grips his hand, interlocks their fingers. He brings it to his lips, kisses the ring. Breathes in the moment—it’s refreshing, brisk and new with the promise they now share.
The promise that they’d return to each other’s arms, no matter what pushes them apart.
Hancock doesn’t catch that he, too, is quietly crying now; it’s Esper’s turn to brush them away.
“Y’know what you traditionally do after this?” she asks, wiggling her decorated ring finger against his lips.
He shakes his head.
She steps closer, cups his nape with her free hand and eases their conjoined ones down to rest against his chest. Over his heart—which is pounding like it’s making an escape attempt.
“You kiss the bride. To ‘join the souls’.”
He can’t help it; he chuckles. Pulls her further in to his space, eases her chin up with a knuckle. His thumb outlines her plump lips. Like always, they have some sort of gravitational pull.
They’ve kissed countless times… but this time is different. So very fuckin’ different. The moment they connect, it’s nothing but passion that’s both boiling over and languid. Immediately, their mouths part for one another, starting a slow, sensual dance of their tongues that deepens with each passing second. It’s a moment that lasts an eternity.
When they back away to rest their foreheads together, both are lightly panting with damp cheeks. The tip of her nose tickles right under the cavity of his. He can’t bring himself to open his eyes… not yet. He steals another kiss, relishing in how breathless it leaves him yet again.
“I’m all yours, John,” Esper whispers against his lips.
“Wouldn’t have it any other way… Mrs. Hancock.”
The next day, they hear nothing but whistles and congratulations from onlookers they didn’t know were there, but they take it in stride, with hands locked together and knowing glances between them. Because now, they are together… and damn unstoppable.

With regard to the Shakarian Kid: I agree 100%. Where I love seeing either Shep or Garrus interacting with children (especially Garrus), I don't think they're in the healthiest place to have kids of their own either. Garrus makes the remark about the turian/human baby (and baby krogan which is adorable omg) to keep Shep hopeful about the future just as you've said, absolutely. What I really love about that scene is how Shepard seems to think they're too damaged to be parents as well if you go with the "Us? Parents?" dialogue choice (and you get that "you worried that Daddy's rifle collection might scare Junior?" line from Garrus which Brandon Keener knew exactly what he was doing to us when he recorded it excuse his sexy vocal chords)
By the way, you really are a very gifted angst author. Edge of Yesterday has a unique ability of shattering my heart, mending it, and then shattering it again and I come back for more because it's done in a way that never is tiresome or over-the-top. It hits the right amount of heartbreaking and sweet.

1. Are you named after anyone?
I was going to be named after my uncle if I was a boy, but that didn't work out. She didn't like the female version, so she went with something Christmas-y since I was born so close to Christmas.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Today, as a matter of fact. In a fit of rage while trying to dispose of a very stubborn and very rude cottonwood sapling.
3. Do you have kids?
No, but if I were in the right headspace and had a partner who wanted them and we were financially secure, I wouldn't mind adopting or fostering a couple.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
It's one of my love languages. But I will admit to needing to lay off the snark once in a while.
5. What sports do you play/have you played?
I was a hockey player as a kid and I played soccer (football for you Europeans). Now, I take long walks with two obnoxious dogs and my parents. I'm not very sports oriented anymore due to a back injury.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?
If they have a dog or not. I'm an anxious person and I don't like looking at people out of habit, but if there's a dog, I'm asking to pet it.
7. Eye Color?
Green. The only 1% I'm part of is the percentage of the population with natural red hair and green eyes
8. Scary movies or happy endings?

I love happy endings and horror movies. And when a horror film has a happy ending? Even better.
9. Any Special talents?
I can unnerve a voice teacher with an unusual vocal range, maybe? My usual speaking voice is considered really low and normally shouldn't be able to clear three octaves. But my singing range is about four and a half octaves to five.
10. Where were you born?
Alaska and I have been stuck here for nearly thirty years. It's a beautiful state, don't get me wrong, but egads I want to leave. And no, we cannot see Russia from our house. That's in Wasilla and that's because of all the crystal meth they cook.
11. Free space (there was no 11 on the prompt I received)
My favorite movie of all time is the Princess Bride. I watched it so much as a kid that I wore out the old VHS tape. My mom got a copy of the DVD and we quote it at the screen when we watch it sometimes to annoy my dad. (he loves it)
12. Do you have any pets?
Two dogs named Luka and Rosie and two cats named Selina and Brucie.
13. How tall are you?
About 5'7 or 5'8, depends on the doctor
14. Favorite subject in school?
English and Social Studies. I was one of those kids who loved every book we read in class and would read ahead because I wanted to know what happened next. I read during class and got in trouble when I supposed to be doing work. And I'd read ahead in my history book to find out cool shit and then look that up in the library. The other kids thought I was weird as fuck. Wouldn't find out until I was 13 that I had The Autism™
15. Dream Job?
Used to be Disney World, but the Mouse destroyed my dreams and crushed my soul like a grape. Now it's something involving wild animal rehabilitation or something like that. I like critters and I want to help restore habitats and endangered species and things like that.

Girl I just finished the Most Dangerous Game: New York edition and Christoph was flawless as usual also the Runner in this one was awesome loved him but his little sister was just the absolute worst. Josie is a sweet girl but holy shit she is dumber than fuckin soup
I haven't watched either of those, I figured Christoph probably wasn't in them long enough to hold my interest. Might check them out in the future tho!

It appears that Gus has been forgiven for not interviewing King last episode, and they are now teaming up to provide grommentary commentary and wear sunglasses indoors! Truly, a feat only the coolest of dudes can achieve.
