Apes fans were treated to a feast of new information in the last 24 hours so here is a breakdown of all the goodies!
First full clip, titled 'Campfire', featuring Noa and Raka naming Nova

In two articles from ClutchPoints, William H Macy elaborated on his role with Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes, confirming that he will play a human. He was announced as part of the film for several months but nothing was known about his character, not even what species he would play. But he's now confirmed that he will be playing a human.
He said both Kingdom and another upcoming project, a comedy film titled Ricky Stanicky, were filmed in Australia within weeks of each other. When asked about the back to back filming experience, Macy said, "A survivalist film and then an air d**ker in one month. What more could a boy want?"
Two drastically different films to film on top of each other but I'm glad that he was up to the grueling schedule and will be joining the Apes franchise. Macy is most well-known for his roles in Fargo, Boogie Nights, and Shameless. Personally, I will always enjoy him most in Jurassic Park III, running from dinosaurs with lots of screaming.
And if he's playing a feral human who is hunted down by apes, he'll have lots of prior experience of screaming and running! 🦖🦧 🦕🦍
