I'm sharing this hoping it gets me fired up to finish this fic!! This is the Quidditch Player Harry and Publicist Draco fic!
“Malfoy? What are you doing here?”
Draco reaches out, plucks the glass of whiskey out of Potter’s hand, and downs it. “I’m your babysitter for the Gala.”
Face like a thundercloud, Potter glares. “I don’t need a fucking babysitter. I’m not even going.”
Draco pushes past him into the front hall. “You do, and you are. Go upstairs and put on your formalwear. Tux or robes, it doesn’t matter. I had both cleaned and sent back over, so no excuses.”
Potter digs his heels in, physically and metaphorically. “No.”
Draco just matches him, glare for glare. “Yes.”
“Hell no,” Potter clarifies and Draco rolls his eyes.
“We both know I’m going to win this one, Potter. You have to go, it’s in your contract.”
Draco sees the muscles in Potter’s jaw clench before he hisses, “Fine,” and heads upstairs, calling over his shoulder, “Don’t fucking drink all my whiskey.”
