I was surrounded by beautiful, smart, driven, and talented women yesterday at @curissadeleon #SacredTheBrunch event, a celebration of ambitious women in the Sacramento region. I will admit, this pregnancy hasn't always made me feel good about myself (hormones, bloating, all the glamorous stuff when you're with child). But when I was listening to all of the inspirational stories from these self-made women, it made me feel more alive and empowered because we all have similar wants and fears. Love yourself first.
