Can you see the forest for the trees? Meaning can you see the whole design or just one or two elements? Our job is to see the whole design - the forest - and then implement the elements - the trees. We did that here when we started with a giant eat-in kitchen with living room and patio. // Each area had its own functionality. We had cooking, entertaining, relaxing both indoor and outside for the best type of aspirational lifestyle possible. We custom made the surfboard dining table and selected the latest patterned tile for the patio floor. There were trees and there was a forest. // The most fun piece we've had in our collection for a long time is the curved green sofa. It showed up and everyone wanted to sit on it. Of course it's covered in beautiful velvet so we put a big sign on it says "You sit You die" because tool belts, pizza lunches and wet paint abound everywhere on a job site. Thankfully, it is in pristine condition and now a part of our sale @studiobstylehome.
