hate that thing tumblr app does now where trying to post a post with no tags brings up a prompt to add some tags to ‘help people find your post’ and i really hate that it even pops up when you try to save a post to your drafts. like girl its a draft. no one is finding it in there. i might not even find it to be honest

I had a dream a few weeks ago out of the blue that H/san P/ker died and I felt really horrible about it. I am not a fan of the Twitch "socialist" man at all, I actually find him really grating. REALLY grating, he also spouts misinformation and then doesn't correct himself, he calls people he doesn't like "nerds" and "weirdos" like that's helpful, but whatever. I felt bad about how pathetic all the work he left behind was. And like since this is clearly not someone I'm a fan of, I should mention, no, I don't think about him independently much at all and I don't watch his content (if you do I'm not shaming you though). But ever since then whenever I've seen someone mention him on the internet I get a jumpscare like wait didn't he DIE? Oh wait no that was a dream.

this might seem like a weird question but i'm starting up a svt reactions/drabbles blog and i was wondering where you find all your cute little banner gif/image things? like the long ones that go under your main pics? what do you look up to find them? i just think they make the posts look so cute!!

hi! great question, not weird at all! i get them from a few different places:

@animatedglittergraphics-n-more has most of the ones i use! pretty much any gif i've used is from them.

the ones with a little symbol in the middle and two solid lines on each side (like the one above) are from @firefly-graphics ! they have a ton of very simple, minimalistic line dividers.

the solid color line dividers (like the one below) are a little harder to find, you can usually find them by searching "[color] divider" on tumblr but it doesn't work every time. other than that i get them from any of the deco discord servers i'm in (open discord and find the 'explore' section, then type 'deco' and join any of the servers! there's tons of ones with good resources)

anything else i find just by searching tumblr! i try and make mine match the content of my fic so most of the time i'm searching things like "pumpkin divider" or "books divider". sometimes you have to wade thru a bunch of unrelated posts to find what you're looking for, but there's almost always some good ones to find!

i haven't tried this myself, but i'm sure tw!tter also has great resources, i know they're pretty big into aesthetics over there lol

the main keyword you're looking for is probably "divider", but searching any words like "bio", "resources", "symbols", "themes", "moodboard", etc also give good results! here's some examples:

Think I've talked about this before, but genuinely honest to god think having English and Spanish as my mother tounge and Vietnamese as a second language (to clarify, I'm not Vietnamese, I was just incredibly lucky I went to a school where Spanish and Vietnamese were the most common second languages spoken by the student body/their families, so Vietnamese AND Spanish were required courses from K-6th grade) truly set me up for learning an array of languages and having pretty better than average pronunciation when trying to study anything new.

Especially Vietnamese, because it's so tonal and lush in sounds and sound mixtures not often heard in English, it prepped and expanded my linguistic range extensively. I'm like still 1000000% grateful for the experience and having grown up being taught that other languages outside English are valuable because it allowed me to have an easier grasp on learning different language than most people both on the level of skill and passion.
