Unwanted Guest thoughts:
Given that Nav and Wake were brain sharing for a bit, does Gideon now know how to fire a gun?!?

Every day I listen to Welly Boots by the Amazing Devil and I’m rendered immobilized and consumed by thoughts of Darius and his mentor. About a haunting ghost and how everything you’ve learned to love about a person you’ve lost you continue to pass onto those who live. About watching those you love grieve and grow. You want to tell them you’re so proud that they lived when you couldn’t, and yet, you wish to beg and insist you’re still there. You’re not. But perhaps it’s a comfort for you more than it would be for them.

I mean I could make Part 3 into its own separate book; I could also give in to my brainworms and start writing the sequel about Dora! No one can stop me except maybe myself!

Welly are a six-piece band from Southampton , England. When I first saw the cover of "Home for the Weekend / Me and Your Mates" I thought we might be hearing another Black Country, New Road - large band of young British musicians.
But from the first sound, I realized Welly are closer to Los Campesinos! combined with Art Brut. One of their hashtags is dance pop, and in a weird way, this does make me think of dance pop in the vein of early Talking Heads. There is an angular pop sound at work here.
This is the first release on Brighton-based label Goo Records.
