Ghanaian Couple's Wedding Photography and Videography Service in South East London, England

We provided wedding photography and videography service to a friendly Ghanaian couple in Bromley, South East London last Autumn.

This is another wedding story we witnessed with our cameras. A couple of months before their wedding day, we have provided them with an engagement photography & videography service in Central London with some romantic touches in our shoots.

They were actually planning to take their engagement and wedding ceremonies in Birmingham before but after some family discussions, they decided to have both shoots in London.

Feel free to check their engagement story photos here on our website and our Vimeo page for their videos. Unlike other modern weddings, the couple opted for a traditional wedding, which means the groom would not see the bride before her father gave her away.

This couple comes from quite religious families. The bride's father is a priest. Just before she left her home, her mother gave her a simple prayer and blessed her by putting the Tierra on her head. She has also given her some advice on how she should treat her family and husband.

After that, we arrived at the bride's parent's church for a 2 hours long ceremony. Lovely bride was brought to the first time seeing her future husband by her priest father's hands. It was so romantic for the couple and for their guests. There were a few priests giving sermons. From that, we can understand the church is very close to the couple. The congregation treats her as a daughter.

The ceremony, banquet and party were held at Anerley Methodist Church, Anerley, Bromley, South East London.

They had a quite intimate banquet with all their close family members, relatives and guests who are also members of their own church. Their priests who attended their wedding also joined their party dance. What a great mixture of Ghanaian traditional style and western style wedding!

We really enjoyed their wedding from the morning until night, and editing their photos and videos.

Tina and Cameron's wedding in Ravello was a truly magical event, and we were honored to be there to capture it all on camera. The setting was nothing short of breathtaking, with the ceremony taking place against a backdrop of stunning coastal views. One of the most memorable moments of the day was when we took the newlyweds to the edge of the infinity pool at the Belmond Caruso. By positioning them on the very edge, we were able to create a striking image that appeared to suspend them between the water and the sky. It was a privilege to work with such a talented team of wedding professionals, including the expert planners at The Wedding Boutique Italy, and the skilled makeup and beauty artists, Alessandro Mancino and Diego Salviati. A Wedding Blessing Unfolds in York and Selby: A Hong Kong Couple's Journey -

We have provided wedding photography, videography and bridal hair & makeup service for a friendly Hong Kong couple in York and Selby, North-East England.

We have been to York and Yorkshire so many times before for our pre-wedding and wedding shoots especially for our Oriental Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysian couples' ceremonies, its because York is the one of most famous engagement & wedding destination for them.

Wedding Planning

In the beginning of the consultation, the couple required information about having wedding ceremonies in different countries, including Prague, England and Italy.

After providing some information about costing and the way they can get their wedding legalised, they decided to sign the civil wedding document in Hong Kong, then head to England, Selby Abbey, Anglican parish church, for the Wedding Blessing Ceremony. Selby Abbey was the church where Jay Chow, a Taiwanese pop singer get married. Many couples we knew follow Jay Chow, a trend setter, for their own pre-wedding and wedding shoot.

Except communicating with the priest, we helped to source wedding carriage, florist, decoration for their wedding blessing ceremony, as well as performing photography and videography. In the early morning, we travelled to the bed and breakfast of the couple to capture the preparation details - hair styling and makeup, getting dressed, accessories, etc.

The priests in Selby Abbey has came across countless East Asian couples due to the celebrity wedding. They are indeed very patient and easy to work with even though the cultures and expectation are so different.

Post Wedding Couple Portraits

After we finished the church ceremony, we went back to York for a change in hair styling and makeup style and took some lovely couple portraits around the city. Although the weather was rainy, windy and cold, all of us did our best to accomplish the shoot. We have taken all photos and filmed video clips around York City Walls, The Ouse River, York Minster and Museum Gardens.

End up, the couple was very happy with the wedding blessing photos and videos. Combining with the additional wedding portraits captured in York, resulted in a breathtaking visual narrative. York's timeless beauty was added to the couple's graceful photos and perfect moments.

由於名人婚禮的影響，塞爾比修道院的牧師曾經遇到過無數的東亞夫妻。儘管文化和期望截然不同，但他們確實非常耐心且易於合作。

婚紗照

完成教堂儀式後，我們回到約克改變了髮型和化妝風格，並在城市裡拍攝了一些婚紗照。儘管天氣又濕又冷，我們大家都竭盡全力完成了拍攝。我們拍攝了約克城牆、烏斯河、約克大教堂和博物館花園周圍。
