I went into the new Night Vale episode honestly thinking they were going to pull another "what do you mean the previous episode ended on a cliffhanger no no nothing happened" and we wouldn't hear of Kevin or the Boy in at least two years.

impossibly long week ahead of me, but made infinitely easier knowing that i am so deeply beloved by my boyfriend and that we belong entirely to each other :') the light of my life forever and always

#i had a dream last night where we were travelling through the european countryside and decided we were going to elope #so we found an abandoned tiny chapel in the hills and cleaned it out together inside to make it neat and pretty #so that we could get married there secretly #and the dream brought me a lot of peace #because i don't think it was really a dream about marriage but was much more metaphorical #and felt as if we were carving out this little space in the world that was created entirely to house us and our love #which is what it feels like we're doing in the waking world. carving out space in our lives dedicated just to our love #i feel so deeply secure in our love. he truly is the absolute love of my life and i feel so lucky that we found each other #i'll keep him all my life if he'll let me :')#anyway. i can face the week. i can.#we just spent the most beautiful weekend together. i slept so soundly after my last long week #because i sleep so deeply next to him; knowing that i'm safe and loved :')

#I know which window held the sunflowers I wrote poems about #I know what your blundstones looked like kicked off on this patio #I know what this yard looked like when it was still a yard and not a driveway #covered in horrible fake grass where I learned how to play cricket #and felt so alive as I hit it out of the park #I know what this front porch looked like when it was filled with plants and a giant mirror and life and you wrapped me up in a huge blanket #and made me raisin toast #I know the layout of the inside #I know where the toaster oven is kept in the kitchen and I know the stove is too small to make industrial quantities of jam #I know which brick has the spare key and I know what it felt like in my jet lagged hands as I picked it up and went inside to wait for you #I know what this yard felt like when we cut up strawberries at a trashy little folding table in the sunlight #the scenes all play out before my eyes #I know it all because it lived in my dreams for so long #the way I’d come back and I’d knock on your door and you’d have me #it was all I dreamed about and the thing I wrote poems about as I felt it slipping out of my fingers as we forgot each other #and now I sit here and everything has changed #it’s quite beautiful how much sadder it looks now thanks to the gift of time and new tenants and the loss of a lot of spellbound magic #but the way the universe changed me inside that house #will be there forever

started watching hopecore right before bed and MAN. what a life it is we live on this earth.

#it's a lottery every time someone is born!!! people achieve their dreams every day #others die. others bury loved ones. others get married. others have kids. others separate. still others choose to be alone #and what decides your path is largely up to who conceived you; where and at what time #the rest is blindly writhing around trying to change your circumstances and sometimes there's luck #every single person on this planet has their own inner monologue. their own family. their own dreams #we all just wade through our experiences and maybe leave a cascade of small influences around us #and at and time BOOM! you could just crease to exist!! you could walk outside right now and get struck by lightning #and your story is over #i guess no one is ever ready to think about stuff like that. but it's the truth #and the hardest question you'll ever have to answer is 'how do i spend my time in a way that leaves me truly happy?'#i don't think anyone ever knows the answer to that. not quickly at least #but no matter what you do the sun still rises the next morning and the moon comes out the next night #our rocks in space rotate and revolve like they have done for billions of years. and they'll keep doing it #time stops for no one. we all live and die. and no one but you can decide what will make you happy in the end #this weird little science experiment we are. our little self contained world #we're essentially the universe's terrarium. we're the little tiny creatures that live and reproduce and die inside #and what's it all for anyway? IDK. i think we're meant to do as much of what makes us happy as possible #even if there is no ''point'' to earth being the exact right conditions to create human life; we can make our own meaning #we don't all live or suffer or laugh or cry or fall in love for a reason. there's no telling why it all happens #it just does. so we make our own meanings.#crazy to think we all might have ended up here by accident. or coincidence #makes you think or whatever someone would end this with #chatter #uhhhhhh should i trigger tags this???? First week of school go okay? If yes, YAY!!!! If no, Im sorry my guy and I hope it gets better!!

Yeah actually! I’ve had 2 classes so far, first one was just setting up and going around an introducing ourselves which as a kid I would have loved to brag about how cool I was and as an adult made me be like hi I like metal music and I’m watching Saw movies don’t talk to me and then I literally had a hot guy come up to me after class and walk with me to my car talking to me, and then after that I a girl in my class saw me and started talking to me, and then last class was “okay group work! I’m putting you guys in group to meet each other” which made me want to gouge my eyes out because if there’s one thing that makes me feel good about myself it’s being in a class full of idiots and realizing I’m literally one of the coolest people in the room because I’m either smarter then everyone else or if I’m not I’m not super fucking dorky about it. Like. There’s a guy in my class that won’t stop talking about the ACTs. Like okay dude. Chill. Go smoke some weed or something. And then there’s the kids in my class who are just Not Getting It and I’m like wow! I’m so fucking glad I am Not That Stupid! And then there’s the girl in my class who is like timidly raising her hand and I just want to take her and be like girl don’t raise your hand women have been waiting their turn for centuries speak your thoughts. Meanwhile home girl is literally an ICU nurse like girl you are telling me you watch people cut open people for a living and you literally keep people alive but you’re too shy to say anything without raising your hand first and getting acknowledgment from the teacher. But like man she was so cool to talk to as well. So like my plan of being antisocial isn’t working at all because I keep meeting really cool people. There’s literally a guy in my class in a metal band who is a tattoo artist. Like damn dude can we hang. Next class I gotta drop in online though because I’m gonna be on vacation. I want to talk to the guy who was talking to me on the way to my car more but after class last time he was taking to ACT dude about- wait for it- the ACTs and I heard him be like “hey can I get your number” like wait hey I want YOUR number you’re hot and you like Pierce The Veil… anyway yeah.

#it’s really weird because growing up English was my favorite subject #and as a kid this class would have been the most amazing thing for me #we’re reading a book written by an autistic teen who talks about nature #so we have to write about ourselves and nature #and writing and nature were my two big things growing up #but I’ve changed and it’s so weird because the girl I used to be is clawing inside me to live out her best dreams but that’s not me anymore #she’s a part of me but I’ve changed. she’s going to come out for this class but it’s not me you know?#does that make sense?#I love English but I just had my heart broken by an English teacher #so there’s that bitter taste there #a girl I was talking about books and reading with #who grew up loving the same books as me #and now that have that bitter taste when I sit back and think of them because of her #just like English class itself #I had a dream before school started that when I got there she was the teacher and I was the only one with beef with her #and I was gonna have to drop the class because like how can you have someone who broke your heart as your teacher #you know?#the girl I was vs the person I am now #I used to be so outgoing and loved nature and English was my favorite subject and I loved talking about myself and making friends and #and now I like science I like psychology I want to keep people at arms length I want to be mysterious I want to be creepy #yeah #punk gets mail
