Fucking love my day off. I slept in, I went to yin yoga for an hour, I took a shower and put on a dress (it was all of 50F here but SUNNY for the first time in weeks!!!) and drove over to my friend’s town to get croissants and lattes with her which we ate sitting in the park. Then I came home and called my mother in law and listened to her talk for like 30 mins (she’s lovely no complaints here) while I sewed. I ended up piecing almost 50% of my quilt top this afternoon! Then I did some mild life admin stuff in the afternoon (accounting, work email, desk clean) and now we are eating leftover Indian food and watching ep 6 of The Three Body Problem under the heated blanket. This rules. Everyone on earth should have a four day (or less) week.

Here’s the quilt top. Dont look too closely at the corners it’s a mess but it will be a very nice cozy quilt anyway!!
