#bilingual #multilingual #First language is English #But there are some phrases or words I leanred in Chinese first #Up until Grade 2 or so I couldn't count up to 100 in English #but I could get up to 1000 in Chinese #sometimes I can't think of a word and I'll go ask my friends #but the defintion of the word I'm thinking of is in Chinese #vise versa too #I'll go and ask my chinese speaking friends about a word and explain it in English #I pause sometimes in the middle of sentances because the language I was just using switched off #and then the 2nd part is in another language then what I first started with #I still do math in chinese #and then translate it into English on paper

i don't believe in the fandom concept of problematic faves (all characters should have at least one Problem, i think, for flavor) but if i did, fiona pitch would have a permanent throne at the very top of my list. i just think she's neato-cheetos.

every time someone asks me how good a movie i've seen is, i absolutely need them to start telling me what their standards & guilty pleasures with movies are bcs IDK WHAT U CONSIDER GOOD !!!!!!!!!

#there are ppl who have high standards w/ movies but may have a soft spot for cheesy poorly written romances for example !#meanwhile i wouldn't have that exception bcs romance is usually a huge turn-off for me #there are good movies that are fun & engaging but not necessarily heartfelt artful masterpieces #some people prefer the former & find the latter pretentious & vise-versa like !#i need ppl to start actually giving me a layout of stuff they're recommending me too bcs i know some people that'll call literally Anything #a Good Movie #which is like fine but #i will literally tear my hair out from psychic pain if i try to sit thru sumn i don't think is good or even entertaining #my family rlly liked the lion king remake when i was sitting in the theatre wishing for the sweet release of death lmao #movies

#kinda have been thinking of going back to school for funeral directing and embalming #i have my makeup artistry degree so i could do mortuary cosmetology butttt its rly had to find a place looking for only that #since funeral directors are also qualified to do mortuary makeup and most places will just have them do it #like it’s not impossible to find a place looking for only a mortuary cosmetologist its just way harder n i’d have way better chance if i #went to school for funeral directing and did the whole process ya know #idk #i just hate that the only places offering the program in canada are sudbury and toronto in ontario or some place in bc too #if i do it in bc though my license wouldn’t be valid in ontario and vise versa #jas rants
