The vinyl record format war heats up as RCA introduces the 45-RPM, 7-inch record. It eventually replaces the 78-RPM record for "singles" - one song on each side. The format takes off in the early years of the rock era.

Made exclusively for Record Store Day 2015, SPACELAB9 released this Better Call Saul 7” vinyl in a limited edition of only 1,000 copies – and I’ve got one of them right here! The eponymous song is performed by Junior Brown, with lyrics by show creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. 🤠🎙️

The song was the first track released in connection with Better Call Saul and premiered as part of a teaser video released by AMC on October 5, 2014. The video was streamed over 1 million times, leading up to the series debut on February 8th, 2015 which premiered to a record-breaking 6.9 million viewers.
