The incredible specifics available in store bought sizing back when people knew how clothes were supposed to fit them!!! "Eliminates all costly alterations."
This is a delight of specificity as well as hang tag design.

WHY ONLY B&W? 📸 — Elvis photographies by Alfred Wertheimer
Up until now I though, probably you too, that B&W was the only way to go in the 50s when it comes to photography, but no, it wasn't. So, why having photographed Elvis so much, A. Wertheimer did never experiment with color photography?
There's a reason.

"During a review of my photo contact sheets at RCA Victor, Anne [Fulchino] asked me to cover Elvis on Steve Allen's new TV show. She said that even though Elvis was getting a lot of bad press, he was really a sweet boy. So she wanted some "nice" pictures. I was never encouraged to use color film to photograph Elvis. Although Anne had confidence that Elvis would make it, other people at RCA didn't think he would last for more than six months. Shooting color was expensive, black and white was all that was necessary." — Alfred Wertheimer. — Excerpt from "Elvis '56: In The Beginning" by Alfred Wertheimer
