a rundown of all the shots from billions season 7 trailers that we haven’t yet seen (as far as i recall) in any episode, as of 7x11

Billions Season 7 Official Trailer

at 1:44, a shot of wendy and luke together in some outdoor location. my assumptions of wukey concretely Happening this season have largely hinged on this shot. this looks more like they’re dressed for winter weather, which we’re now getting out of as the action moves into late march / early april, so i wonder whether this was cut from an earlier episode rather than being saved for the finale.

Damian Lewis & Paul Giamatti on Reuniting for Season 7

at 0:16, chuck and axe together at prince capital, with axe wearing a metallica t-shirt. (though in this particular shot, damian at least does not appear to be in character as axe.) in 7x11, axe says regarding the axe global office that “It’ll do for now. Still have my eye on a different space for the long haul.” i think that different space may be mpc, axe’s once and future kingdom.

at 0:27, axe in a chair at axe global, again in that metallica t-shirt.

at 0:49, more of chuck and axe at prince cap, in character this time.

at 0:52, chuck and axe at prince cap again, with axe saying to chuck, “Don’t fool yourself. I’m not the same guy I was when we first met.”

back to the mid season trailer: at 0:18, prince riding in a car. i’d guess this is the same car trip we see in the 7x12 trailer, presumably taking him to camp david.

back to the mid season trailer: at 0:21, wendy, taylor, and axe walking out of an office at axe global, with axe leading the way and wendy stopping taylor from following him right out. taylor’s in that same outfit as before, and axe is in the metallica t-shirt.

at 0:24, prince angrily putting on his jacket, which bears an american flag pin. i think he’s wearing a different shirt than during the car ride, but the lighting makes it hard to be certain.

at 0:48, dollar bill & victor hugging, while ben kim & tuk hug behind them and philip & wags watch, all at prince cap. sure seems like what might happen if axe returned and reclaimed the place and brought wags and ben and tuk with him. and philip looks happy about all this!

at 0:48-0:49, axe and wendy in prince’s (possibly now axe’s again) office, as wendy steps toward axe. if the writers put this *and* that scene of wendy and luke in the finale things are gonna get real heated among certain segments of the viewership.

bonus: at 0:49-0:50, prince throwing the printer through wendy’s office wall. which we have seen before, but that last shot is a new angle, *and* we can see that 1) he’s in the same shirt as in that earlier shot of him putting on a jacket 2) he’s Not wearing a jacket here 3) both points also apply to two other shots of him from the 7x12 trailer

Esteban: Oh no! I’m doomed! Isabel: Seriously? All you have to do is not insult Dona Paloma at her own memorial service. Esteban: Exactly! It’s impossible!

Elena of Avalor is a really solid show. There are like, almost no flaws in the narrative that I can find, and the ones I DO find are all minor and don't really effect it in the grand scheme of things, which is really impressive!!! But if I have one major complaint, it's with how the show handles it's magic system.

Not counting any contradictions between EoA and StF, the lore isn't so much inconsistent as it is vague. There's a lot I wish they elaborated on, mostly about Elena's powers, that they just didn't. So here's a bulleted list of all the things I wish got dug into a little deeper :D

The difference between normal wizards and malvagos. All we get on that front is that malvagos use dark magic that wizards are incapable of using? And that you become one by getting a spell cast on you??? And they have animal motifs?????? Like wtf is up with that.

How much magic Elena gained from being in the amulet. She was literally marinating in magical juices for 41 years, which you'd think would have deeper effects then just seeing ghosts and being able to use a cool scepter??? But she doesn't get any powers independent of magical objects until Takaìna, which is kinda weird and leads into my next point...

How the magic Elena gained from the amulet effected the magic she gained from Takaìna!!! Obviously Takaìna is a MUCH more powerful source of magical radiation then the necklace, so falling into that gives you more magic, but did the stuff Elena got from the well just get added on to her amulet magic? Did it enhance the already present magic?

Also, how does Takaìna even work? Is it like radiation but not deadly? Does falling into a well full of crystals hurt? Because I bet that would fuckin hurt. Why does falling into a well of crystals even give you, or the stick you're holding, powers in the first place? Does it actually even GIVE humans inherent powers or does it just give them the ability to use magical items? Is Elena's DRESS the actual source of her mood magic??? I mean we never see her use the mood magic WITHOUT her color changing dress so like-

On an unrelated note, why is Zuzo the only chanul Elena sees consistently? Is it because he's her chanul? Is it because she's just coincidentally never in the same room as anybody else's? Given how chanul's powers work being pretty similar to the way spirits come to the living world on Dia De Los Muertos you'de think she'd be able to see all chanuls all the time. Also cAN ESTEBAN SEE GHOSTS TO???? LITERALLY WHY HAVEN'T I SEEN ANYBODY EXPLORE THAT POSSIBLITY THERE'S SO MUCH POTENTIAL THERE-

How the fuck does the Scepter of Light work? Elena's the only person who can use it at the beginning of the series, and up until the Scepter of Night is introduced I just kind of assume it was because the amulet gave her a Very Special type of magic. But then Shuriki uses the Scepter of Night with no issues whatsoever???? What's her source of inherent magic??????? And then ASH can KIND OF USE THE SCEPTER OF LIGHT????? IS IT BECAUSE MALVAGOS HAVE INHERENT MAGIC IN THERE SOMEWHERE?????? BUT THEN ELENA SAYS IT ONLY RESPONDS TO GOOD MAGIC WHICH IS CONFUSING BECAUSE I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT AT LEAST ELENA'S MAGIC WAS PRETTY NEUTRAL!!! THEN ESTEBAN CAN'T USE IT UNTIL HE SWITCHES SIDES BUT WHY???? WHAT MAKES MAGIC GOOD VS EVIL!?!?!?!?!? WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!?!?!?

Okay this one's kind of just a nitpick but there are several spells that just. Do the same thing. Like the turn somebody upside-down spell is just Levaluke with extra steps 💀

Why is Esteban's hair like that after he falls in the well? We know it isn't stuck like that forever because he manages to get it under control during the coronation. Is making the users hair stick up his staff's version of the scepter glowing to signify somebody can use it? If so WE WERE ROBBED OF ELENA'S HAIR STICKING UP LIKE THAT IN THE FINALE THAT WOULD'VE BEEN SO FUCKING FUNNY-

Okay those are all the things I can think of right now. Tbh I'm kind of just posting this to open up a discussion? I wanna rally together what little is left of this fandom to try and piece together a coherent magic system!!! It's what this show deserves!!!!!!!!/pos

It's really a shame that I've only really seen Valentina shipped with Prince Alonso or (more occasionally) with Elena. Don't get me wrong, those are nice enough ships. But oh my god, I cannot be the only person who sees that the Shining Light of Paraiso™ goes perfectly in every possible ship I can think of.

Dangerous things. YMIR : That is why everyone is so on edge. Even I am scared. I don't want my perfect face to be mangled, that's why I need you to protect me. YMIR : Oh, my apologies. Was that insensitive? Your scars look wonderful on you! It just wouldn't suit my brand. How did you get them anyway? Did you go to war? If so, why did you retire? GRANDFLAIR : I retired for a variety of reasons. YMIR : Ah, I see. I'm sorry. I shouldn't pry. As I listened in on their conversation I couldn't help but fixate on the part about smuggling in illegal things. Could they be talking about the gun? Before I could think much on it, another voice echoed through the hallway. LEN : Why do I gotta take care of the little shit!? SION : Who are you calling a little shit? At this rate I won't learn anything. Sheesh…This guy is worse at teaching than Est. LEN : What the hell did you say?

CAMUS : Len, Sion's position is on the billiard floor. That is your area. If anyone is going to teach him, it should be you. LEN : Well I don't wanna! Get someone else to do it! CAMUS : It is part of your job as a member of Primus Club to ensure these newcomers are not accidentally exposed to danger. I won't tolerate any dereliction of duty. LEN : Ha! What are you gettin' all pissy about? That's not like you. CAMUS : ……… LEN : Whatever has crawled up your ass, don't take it out on me. You might be the Bloody Lady's former executive, but no matter how much you slap me around, I ain't gonna do it. CAMUS : Len, do I need to sanction you? LEN : Ugh! Fine! I get it! I'll take care of this little shit! CAMUS : Does this seem like a good arrangement for you? SION : Yes. I'm sure I can learn a lot from this little shit. LEN : HEY! I'm not a little shit! EMMA : (The Bloody Lady's former executive, huh? So he left the Bloody Lady to become a manager of Primus Club?) As I thought about it, I suddenly heard someone's footsteps and looked up to see Seven standing there, staring at me.

SEVEN : ……….. EMMA : Seven! What are you doing here?

ITSUKI : Emma and the others infiltrated the Primus Club four days ago…I'm getting a little worried. I hope they will be alright. ITSUKI : I could easily serve customers, I wonder why they didn't bring us along? CROW : They said that we would mess up and cause too much trouble. NOAH : I don't understand. I could do it. CROW : Nope! They said you would mess it up too. NOAH : I will be king one day. I can deal with some pesky humans. CROW : I think you kinda just proved their point. KAI : I don't get it. If Sion can do it, I can do it even better! ITSUKI : By the way, has anyone seen Rouge? NOAH : Don't worry about that idiot. KAI : Idiot? That's a little harsh, isn't it? CROW : Anyway, we should continue to gather intel on the Bloody Lady from outside. MAN IN BLACK : Hey, you assholes, take us to the Bloody Lady. CROW : Hmm?

From some of the rougher parts of D10 and got into a lot of street fights before the games

Won the 32nd game at age 18

Mostly fought through brute force in the arena

Most memorable moment from his games was when he got surrounded by someone who had a weapon. So everyone thought he was a goner.

He then improvised and broke of a tree branch and beat the tribute with that

Was in a relationship with Lucia for a while but they broke up and are on relatively good terms now

Been married twice and have 2 kids

He mentored Filip and they don't get along

Is very old fashioned and buries his emotions a lot. Used to do it with substance abuse but have been sober for a while

I re-watched "The Scepter of Night" a while ago, and honestly, an episode where everyone just for once listens to Gabe is something we really deserved to get, but alas.

#Personal #Honestly once all those magicaI battles thing started I thought that since Gabe doesn't have magical abilities #he's supposed to compensate it with his brain #I mean he's a guard he was shown to have good strategic skills and he demonstrates it literally every episode where we see all four of them #but they NEVER listen to him #just NEVER #Okay they did in 'Naomi Knows Best' but the title speaks for itself #Call me biased but Naomi's plan wasn't making sense either #Carla and Ash would complete that ritual like ten times until they found Mateo #They had NO idea he was imprisoned #Naomi found it out ONLY when she saw Victor leading Gabe to the dungeon #Poor Gabe
